Although the city of Leeds in West Yorkshire has been known for its industrial influence, it has also endured the trials of plague, war and violence. Many of its buildings were destroyed in the Leeds blitz of 1941. One of the buildings that survived the bombing is The Priest’s Cottage. Historically it served as a chapel as well as the home of a priest and his wife. The Priest’s Cottage in West Yorkshire, England is a relatively lesser known location as far as haunted buildings. It survived the Leeds Blitz in 1941 when the Germans bombed the city but not without significant casualties. It was also the home to a priest for many years, hence the name. Now the location is believed to be haunted by his spirit along with several others.
