First, they discuss some new Star Wars news, which falls somewhere between anger and apathy (1:25) before going right into their thoughts and feelings on the new Zach Creggor film (8:04). Then, they go right into their experiences with Lance Oppenheim's debut narrative film, including their viewing experiences and what they took (or ultimately didn't take) from this movie (17:40). With the fall festivals in full swing, is there a more appropriate time to make Oscar predictions for a ceremony that's 6 months away? Probably, but we're doing them anyway!

It's time for another Director's Chair episode, where each host gets to take the reins and host their own 15-20 segments.

Dalton gets things started with his segment, where each member must deliver a movie pitch for the worst sequel imaginable (6:07). Afterwards, they discuss the recurring themes David Robert Mitchell infuses from his previous movies, especially the incredibly underappreciated Under The Silver Lake, which they dive into in deep detail (since seemingly no one else did in 2018).

As part of Radio Western's celebration of hip-hop's birthday, Outside The Frame takes a deep dive into hip-hop's impact on film! They start by determining the Mount Rushmore of rappers-turned-actors (7:16). Afterwards, Elijah puts Mike, Maddy, and Dalton to the test with a game of Guess The Movie From The Sample, where they compete to guess the movie title based solely on the dialogue sampled in a hip-hop song (30:21).
