Copilots Review
A review podcast where we review the first two episodes of a series for your enjoyment and our likely suffering. After reviewing two episodes we then proceed to judge the series consumability based on the merits of the first two episodes. New episodes on the 2nd and 22nd of every month! With interstitial content released on the 12th of each month! If you want to suggest shows or give feedback feel free to message us at: copilotsreview@gmail.com
Copilots Review 112- Web Therapy
Here at Copilots we've come up with a new, innovative idea. Instead of doing full length reviews, that have all that useless and boring banter, we are now going to aim to do our reviews in only three minutes. You know, so we don't have to deal with all the boring bits.... Oh wait the idea isn't new? It's the entire concept behind the web series Web Therapy? Hmmm maybe we should look into this show before making that decision.

Copilots Review 111- Reboot
On this flight we get a little meta as we dive into Reboot, a Hulu original sitcom about Hulu rebooting an old sitcom. And so the end result is an original show about the drama (and comedy) of writing, producing and rebooting older original program which it turns out is the exact type of show that scratches a very particular itch for one of your copilots. So come along and join us as we discuss this Hulu Original, Reboot.

Copilots Review 110- Invincible Fight Girl
Welcome aboard our flight to a world of pure smackdown and wrestling, with a small and brief layover on Accountant Isle, as on this flight we review the Toonami original animated series Invincible Fight Girl. A series about a girl stuck between two worlds-- the world of accounting and wrestling, a situation all too common to the average person, and how the forces of these two worlds collide to shape her life. Join us as we either mark out or lay the smack down as we review this original animated series.

Inside the Cockpit 53: Invested in What's Been Hapna
This in the cockpit we spend way too long on theoretical questions relating to the Cosmere as well as talking about the unfortunately non-theoretical effects of current economic polices on the hobbies we enjoy. Luckily both of these topics are interspersed with some other things such as Magic: The Gathering, and the work of Shinichirō Watanabe, so at least there is that to enjoy.

Copilots Review 109- RWBY
Today marks the fifth year of this podcast. Which is a little insane that we've been at it for this long. To celebrate the anniversary we dived into an old favorite of ours, the Rooster Teeth original animated series RWBY. We've talked about RWBY before on the show but this is the first time we've dived into the original series. We also talk a little more about how the YouTube show environment was prior to YouTube Red/Premium. Oh also speaking of YouTube we're resuming the process of uploading our backlog onto our YouTube channel, new backlog episodes daily...
Copilots Review 108- Origin
Two months after we started this journey examining the original science fiction shows produced by Youtube as part of their push for original premium television we come to this incredibly dissatisfying conclusion. Unfortunately at some point between watching Lifeline and going to watch Origin it seems that the show has been effectively scrubbed from the internet. So in a first for Copilots we instead review a show by reading wikipedia, synopses, and other reviews to get an idea of what the first two episodes have to offer us and our passengers.

Inside the Cockpit 52: We Didn't Edit This Episode
Your favorite pilots (and a guest!?) are back in the cockpit once more to discuss Yum! Brands, Marvel Snap, The Cosmere, and how modern fantasy properties should handle the in-universe occurrences of our-universe terror events. All delivered with the delightful chemistry you have to come to know and love alongside cutting edge commentary of tv shows that ended over a decade ago! We all learn that while you can return to the past whenever you want, you will find no one there.

Inside the Cockpit 51: A Marvelous Second Chance
There is not enough time in anyone's day to watch all the media that's coming out. Which is both a real shame and a large part of what we are here for at Copilots. That said sometimes what you hear about something may stop you from ever giving it a chance to begin with and that is especially disheartening when the media in question actually turns out to be pretty solid. This time in the cockpit we discuss our current dive into the Netflix Marvel shows as we prepare for the Daredevil Disney+ reboot (or is it a continuation...
Copilots Review 106- Impulse
We're back and it's with part two of our three part retrospective on YouTube Red/Premium's experiment with science fiction shows. This time the show is Impulse, a spin off of the cult classic Jumper. Impulse based on the same series of novels by Steven Gould that the Jumper film was. On this flight we take a look at how Gould's novels translate to a smaller screen.

Inside the Cockpit 50: Upcoming Flight Schedule
We return from our brief hiatus and come bearing information on upcoming flight schedules, as well as brief history of Youtube Premium's original shows. It turns out that in the late 2010s Youtube was regularly churning out high quality content that for the most part seemed to slip under everyone's radar. Now some of these shows are inaccessible to watch outside of committing acts of piracy and nearly all of them were canceled and forgotten. We discuss the path that led to this and detail our plans to highlight some of these gems that are seemingly lost to annals...

It's a new year but we're your same copilots! In this brief interlude between our more robust longer form content we take a moment to discuss video games, primarily roguelikes, some anime and Jet Lag. Seriously if you aren't watching Jet Lag why do you even have access to YouTube at this point?

Copilots Review 103- Jet Lag: The Game
With all of the flights here at Copilots Review it truly was just a matter of time before it caught up with us. The tiredness, inability to sleep and general disorientation are just a part of being a pilot. There is a term for this combination of feelings though; Jet Lag. Turns out that term is also the title of a Nebula competition series as well. So on this flight we dive into our first experience with reality TV Jet Lag: The Game.

Copilots Review 102- Legends of Evergreen Hills
Today's in-flight entertainment isn't technically a holiday tv show, but it does take place during December and does mention Christmas which we know is enough for some people to call this a Christmas show (looking at you "Die Hard is a Christmas movie" people). More intriguing than potentially being a Christmas show is the fact that the in-flight entertainment for this flight is exclusive to the Chick-fil-A Play streaming app. That's right passengers the fast food chicken sandwich juggernaut has planted their flag in the realm of video streaming services and done so with a debut Chick-fil-A Original show...
Inside the Cockpit 48: The VGAs Delayed This Episode
We do apologize for the delay, it is unfortunate but completely the fault of Geoff Keighley. Our normal interior cockpit discussion was delayed by the tenth anniversary of the Video Game Awards and everything that that entailed. Somehow we almost had no topics this month but we managed to whiffle long enough that we found our way into some topics that we both ended up having some very passionate opinions on. This time in the cockpit we get in to the video games that have been occupying our time. For one of us that game is an indy gem that more people should probably take a look at.
