Holiday Touchdown: A Bears Love Story (Hallmark Channel 2026)
Marsha Mason, Malört shots, and the best hair we’ve ever seen in a Hallmark movie. We review Holiday Touchdown: A Bears Love Story and land in different places on whether the story underneath holds up.
Hallmark’s third NFL Christmas movie came out swinging on opening weekend, and we have a lot to say about it. Lyndsy Fonseca and Robert Buckley are a terrific pairing with comedy built in rather than bolted on. Marsha Mason is the heart of the whole thing. And Megan would like someone to tell her where to buy those green glasses.

'Tis the Season for Setups (Hallmark Channel 2026)
Listen to our review. We kick off Countdown to Christmas 2026 with ’Tis the Season for Setups and end up talking about parenting regrets, the forehead kiss that almost happened, and the most pointless secret relationship of the season. Plus, one of us wants a “Queen of No Fun” t-shirt, and we argue about whether a Christmas escape room even counts.

Holiday Touchdown: A Bills Love Story (Encore)
Holiday Touchdown: A Bills Love Story brought Hallmark Channel and the NFL back together for a second football-themed Christmas romance in 2025. Following the success of 2024’s Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story, the second movie in the Hallmark and NFL partnership headed to Buffalo Bills country, starring Holland Roden and Matthew Daddario as longtime neighbors Morgan and Gabe. Set against the traditions and passionate fandom of Bills Mafia, the story follows the pair as they search for the mysterious Christmas benefactor who once helped Morgan’s family - and discover that their own relationship may be turning into something more.
Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story (Encore)
Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story kicked off a new era of football-themed Christmas movies for Hallmark Channel when it premiered in 2024. Starring Hunter King and Tyler Hynes, the movie was the first collaboration between Hallmark and the NFL and brought together holiday romance, Kansas City Chiefs fandom, and plenty of familiar faces from Chiefs Kingdom. Set in Kansas City and centered around one family’s bid to become the team’s “Fan of the Year,” Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story launched what has since become an annual Hallmark football tradition, with the Buffalo Bills getting their turn in 2025 and the Chic...
Our Top Five Movies of the Year
We have never done this episode before, which is a little hard to believe after all these years. So here it is: our five favorite Hallmark movies of 2026, picked separately, compared on the podcast, and argued about a bit. Every Hallmark movie that aired in 2026 was eligible except the Countdown to Christmas lineup, which has its own conversation coming in January. There's overlap on our lists, there's one shared honorable mention, and at the bottom there's a surprise about which episode you all actually listened to most this year.

The Spirit of Halloween
The Spirit of Halloween closes out Fall into Love and we both gave it 4.75 stars, which almost never happens. Megan hates costumes and loved it anyway. Wendy's fall fatigue is cured. Everly Stone gets three ghosts; we get a real Halloween movie.
Â
We talk Jeff Beesley's gift for ensembles, Nicole Baxter's writing, and Lachlan Quormby stealing the whole movie as a six-foot-four Ghost of Halloween Future. Plus: visible cold breath in a Halloween movie, empty prop coffee cups, the third sexy measuring scene of the year, and whether Everly is actually a Scrooge at all.
Fall Favorite: Haul out the Halloween
Haul Out the Halloween (Encore)
Five stars. No notes. Not a single wish between us, which almost never happens around here.
Halloween-obsessed new neighbors move onto Evergreen Lane and inspire the whole street to become EverSCREAM Lane. Lacey Chabert and Wes Brown are back as Emily and Jared, Maclain Nelson writes and directs again, and Kimberly J. Brown and Daniel Kountz turn up as the new arrivals.
This is our final fall favorite encore as we head into the last weekend of Fall Into Love on Hallmark Channel. The review was originally published in O...
Fall Favorite: 3 Bed, 2 Bath, 1 Ghost
3 Bed 2 Bath 1 Ghost (Encore)
A 1920s ghost refuses to leave the house real estate agent Anna has just listed, and she’s convinced she can’t pass over until she gets Anna back together with her ex. We both came in expecting ghostly hijinks. What we got was one of the best Hallmark movies of the year.
This encore review was originally recorded in 2023, back when our format was a little different and our ratings were, in Megan’s words, pure vibes. We’re re-airing our favorite fall movies as we count down to Halloween.

A Knight to Remember
A medieval knight, a museum conservator, and one very unprofessional kiss. A Knight to Remember premiered Saturday, October 3 on Hallmark Channel and is now streaming on Hallmark+. It's adapted from Her Knight at the Museum by Bryn Donovan, our latest Book Club pick, but the book and the movie are worlds apart, and Megan and Wendy definitely didn't agree on which one worked better. Here's our review, the cast, and what changed from page to screen.

Across this three-part First Impressions series, get ready for a rundown of the Hallmark Christmas movies coming in 2026, including the stars, storylines, returning favorites, and more than a few premises that already have some explaining to do. The Love Hypothesis (Prime)
Prime Video’s The Love Hypothesis brings Ali Hazelwood’s bestselling romance novel to the screen, starring Lili Reinhart and Tom Bateman as Olive Smith and Dr. Adam Carlsen. The 2026 romantic comedy has plenty of ingredients that caught our attention at Girls Gone Hallmark: fake dating, a grumpy professor, a woman in STEM, quick banter, and a whole lot of chemistry - including one hotel scene people are definitely talking about. So, yes, we’re stepping outside the Hallmark universe for this one! Wendy and Megan are reviewing The Love Hypothesis, breaking down what worked, what didn’t, and whether this buzzy...

Pumpkin Regatta Romance
We were ready to clown on this one. We did not clown on this one.
Pumpkin Regatta Romance premiered on Hallmark Channel on September 26, 2026, and it turns out a movie about people paddling hollowed-out foam pumpkins across a lake is genuinely charming. Mishael Morgan stars as Nadine, a marina owner trying to bring back her town's beloved pumpkin regatta after a decade-old feud between her father and the local pumpkin farmer shut it down. Corey Sevier plays Ethan, the pumpkin farmer's son and the one who got away.

Mini Episode: Mishael Morgan & Corey Sevier on Pumpkin Regatta Romance
Mishael Morgan and Corey Sevier join Megan to talk about Hallmark Channel's Pumpkin Regatta Romance, premiering Saturday, September 26 at 8/7c. The two leads explain what it's really like to paddle a hollowed-out giant pumpkin (spoiler: Mishael spent a while going in circles), how the production team kept them from capsizing, and why so many of their unscripted moments made the final cut. Corey talks about stepping back to act in a script written by his wife, Kate Pragnell, instead of directing it himself. Mishael compares the pace of a Hallmark set to her years on The Young and the Restless...
Fall Favorite: Roadhouse Romance
We're revisiting this one as a Fall Favorite encore episode. Heads up, it was recorded very early in our podcasting days, so the format is a little different from what you're used to. Roadhouse Romance is a 2021 Hallmark fall movie starring Lauren Alaina and Tyler Hynes. After returning home from military service, Callie finds plenty has changed in her Tennessee hometown — including her family’s struggling BBQ restaurant. When a chance encounter brings Hollywood director Luke, played by Tyler Hynes, into her life, the two team up as Callie searches for her late grandfather’s secret BBQ recipe and tries to save...
Garage Sale Mysteries: Murder Takes the Stage
Garage Sale Mysteries is back! After a years-long absence, Lori Loughlin returns to Hallmark Channel as Jennifer Shannon in Garage Sale Mysteries: Murder Takes the Stage, an all-new movie in the beloved Hallmark mystery franchise. Jennifer reunites with husband Jason, business partner Dani, Detective Frank Lynwood, and her now-grown family as a mystery book club’s Lizzie Borden reenactment takes a deadly turn. The new Garage Sale Mysteries movie brings back familiar faces, a brand-new murder to solve, and Jennifer Shannon’s knack for spotting the clues everyone else overlooks.

Mini Episode: Steve Bacic talks Garage Sale Mysteries
Jason Shannon is back, y'all. After seven years away, Steve Bacic returns opposite Lori Loughlin in Garage Sale Mysteries: Murder Takes the Stage, premiering Saturday, September 19, 2026 on Hallmark Mystery. We got a few minutes with Steve ahead of the premiere, and he was so generous with them. We talked about what it felt like to walk back onto that set after everyone had scattered, and about the one thing he'd really love to do in a future installment. (It involves a dance-off. We are fully on board.)

Fall Favorite: Pumpkin Pie Wars
If you’re craving a classic fall Hallmark movie filled with pumpkin pie, small-town rivalries, and a little enemies-to-lovers romance, Pumpkin Pie Wars checks all the boxes. The 2016 Hallmark Channel movie stars Julie Gonzalo and Eric Aragon as Casey and Sam, the children of two feuding bakery owners who find themselves competing in the very same pumpkin pie contest that started their mothers’ rivalry years ago. Megan and Wendy review Pumpkin Pie Wars and discuss whether this autumn favorite deserves a spot on your cozy fall Hallmark movie watchlist.

Falling into Place
Hallmark Channel is checking off just about every fall movie trope imaginable with Falling into Place, the newest movie in the 2026 Fall Into Love lineup. Kaia heads back home for a fall festival and her high school reunion, where she reconnects with childhood best friend James and the two decide it’s finally time to finish the fall bucket list they started years ago. Because apparently no unfinished business is more urgent than whatever autumnal activities have been sitting unchecked on that list. Apple picking? Hayrides? A suspiciously romantic pile of leaves? We have some guesses. Falling Into Place stars Alvina...
Mini Episode: Alvina August and Nathan Witte
Megan sits down with Alvina August and Nathan Witte ahead of Falling Into Place, premiering Saturday, September 12 at 8/7c on Hallmark Channel. In this quick chat, they share how they built best friend chemistry before the cameras rolled, the fire pit scene they helped reshape (and the dance they added to it), the bucket list item that was hardest to pull off on set, and their own real-life bucket lists — one involves Japan, the other involves Celine Dion.

Fall Favorite- Falling for Vermont
Falling For Vermont is a cozy 2017 Hallmark fall movie starring Julie Gonzalo and Benjamin Ayres, complete with small-town charm, autumn scenery, and a best-selling author who unexpectedly finds herself starting over. After losing her memory, Angela takes refuge in a picturesque Vermont town where a local doctor and his family help her piece together who she is - and perhaps discover what she really wants. We’re talking amnesia, fall festivals, sweet small-town romance, and some memorable thrift-store fashion along the way.

Haunted Harmony Mysteries: Prelude to a Wedding
Haunted Harmony Mysteries: Prelude to a Wedding brings Gethsemane and Eamon back for another supernatural whodunit - this time with a wedding, a messy group of longtime friends, and, naturally, a dead member of the bridal party. Tamera Mowry-Housley and Risteard Cooper return for the fourth installment in the Hallmark Mystery franchise, and while we still love this ghostly crime-solving duo, we have some thoughts about where this series is headed - and whether it might finally be time to stop killing people and start talking to more ghosts.

Weekend Rewind - Blind Date Book Club
Some Hallmark movies win us over. This one had us from the wrapped brown paper. Blind Date Book Club stars Erin Krakow as a Nantucket bookshop owner weighing whether to keep the store her mother left her, and Robert Buckley as the bestselling author who shows up to pitch his new novel to her book club under a name that is not quite his. We both gave it 4.5 stars, and we are still not over how neatly it pulls off the exact thing it spends the first act criticizing. Here is our full review.

Mini Episode: Tamera Mowry Housley
Tamera Mowry-Housley joins Megan ahead of the premiere of Haunted Harmony Mysteries: Prelude to a Wedding (Saturday, September 5 at 8/7c on Hallmark Channel). She tells us how she really learned to play the violin for Gethsemane Brown, where she lands on the Griff vs. Detective O'Reilly love triangle, what a new director and new writers changed on movie number four, and why this one plays like a locked-room mystery. Plus, a little intel about the Christmas movie she's shooting with Kris Polaha — and her very concise review of her co-star. Much About Love
To watch or not to watch? For Hallmark’s newest Fall Into Love premiere, there is no question - we are very excited about this one. Much About Love premieres Saturday, August 29, and takes a page straight from the Bard, giving Shakespeare’s Much Ado About Nothing a modern Hallmark makeover. Ashley Williams stars as a TV director who returns to her theater roots for a Shakespeare festival, only to find herself once again trading barbs - and perhaps falling in love - with an old flame played by Niall Matter. Lend us your ears as we review Much About Love and find ou...
Paris is Always a Good Idea Episode 6 "Knightly Revisited"
Paris Is Always a Good Idea Episode 6 brings Chelsea’s very long, very international search for love to an end, but does the finale stick the landing? Megan and Wendy break down Chelsea’s 14-minute voice memo, Glenn and Sherrie’s emotional wedding, Annabelle continuing to be the MVP of this entire operation, and the Knightly payoff we’ve been waiting for. Plus, are we suddenly shipping Annabelle and Marcos? Six episodes, three exes and two countries later, Chelsea finally has her answer - and we have thoughts.

Love Finds You
Hallmark Channel officially kicks off Fall Into Love 2026 with Love Finds You, starring Aimee Teegarden and Chris McNally. Teegarden plays Alex, a jewelry designer who receives a mislabeled package and becomes convinced the contents point her toward her ideal man. Enter Jack (McNally), the delivery driver who gets roped into a citywide hunt for the rightful owner and, naturally, helps Alex figure out what she actually wants along the way. It's a scavenger-hunt rom-com premise, which is one of our favorite Hallmark structures when it works, because it forces two people into a car together and gives them somewhere to...
Paris is Always a Good Idea Episode 5 - Marcos, Revisited (Hallmark+)
In Paris is Always a Good Idea Episode 5, "Marcos Revisited," Chelsea is packing her emotional baggage and heading to Spain for one last trip down relationship memory lane. Encouraged by Knightly to finally get answers about her past, Chelsea reunites with Marcos at his family's vineyard - but closure comes with an unexpected opportunity that could change everything back home. Meanwhile, Knightly faces some difficult realities on his own, leading Chelsea to make one very big decision as we head toward the season finale.

Aussie at Heart
Hallmark Channel wraps up its three-movie Hallmark Birthday Celebration lineup with Aussie at Heart, starring Rhiannon Fish and Daniel Lissing. Fish stars as Samara, a former lawyer turned event planner who heads to Queensland to plan a couple’s anniversary celebration - only to find herself working alongside Nate (Lissing), her former coworker, longtime rival, and a man with whom she clearly has some unfinished business. With an Australian backdrop, a rivals-to-lovers setup, and two familiar Hallmark stars at the center of it all, Aussie at Heart closes out Hallmark’s August birthday celebration. Our review will break down the chemist...
Paris is Always A Good Idea, Episode 4 "Knightly"
Episode four of Paris Is Always a Good Idea is called "Knightley," and it's the best one yet. We finally learn who Chelsea has been recording those voice memos for. We dig into the Sophie dinner, the backstory that made both of us emotional, Annabelle and Declan's complicated night, and the Eiffel Tower scene that had us screaming into our notes. Then we get to that ending. We also read a listener theory connecting this whole story to Jane Austen's Emma, and it's a good one.

Absolutely Devoted to You
If Hallmark wanted to grab our attention during its 25th Birthday Celebration, pairing fan favorite Kimberley Sustad with the long-awaited return of Jesse Metcalfe is certainly one way to do it. Add in a nostalgic '90s boy band reunion, beach concert vibes, and a music-filled romance, and this feels like one of the network's biggest swings of the year. Kimberley rarely misses, Jesse is back on Hallmark for the first time in years, and we're more than a little curious to see if this unexpected pairing can hit all the right notes.Â

August 2026 Hallmark Headlines
There is no such thing as an emergency podcast when you cover Hallmark movies. This week got close.
Megan was traveling the day all of this news dropped, frantically texting Wendy from the road while Wendy tried to figure out where any of it was even coming from. Hallmark Channel turned 25, and the network celebrated by telling us almost everything about Christmas. Between a sold-out birthday event at 92NY and a virtual Television Critics Association panel, we got a Countdown to Christmas start date, three premiere dates, three brand-new movies, two Halloween movies and a new Hallmark+ series.<...
A Toast to Italy
Hallmark’s Summer Nights continues with Toast to Italy, premiering August 1 and pairing Hallmark favorite Will Kemp with Torrey DeVitto for a romance set among Italy’s vineyards. When Jenny travels overseas in search of a legendary bottle of “Love Wine” for her sister’s wedding, she crosses paths with Arrigo, who’s on the very same mission. Naturally, the search for one famous bottle turns into a journey of self-discovery, breathtaking scenery, and maybe even a little romance of their own. Join us as we uncork Hallmark’s latest European adventure to see whether this vintage is worth savoring – or if it should have...
Paris is Always a Good Idea Episode 2 - "Colin Revisted" (Hallmark+)
Chelsea's impulsive trip to Ireland takes center stage in Paris Is Always a Good Idea Episode 2: "Colin Revisited." Armed with a pair of wildly impractical heels and a decade's worth of "what ifs," Chelsea reconnects with her former flame, Colin, only to discover that sometimes closure looks very different than the fantasy you've been carrying around in your head. Meanwhile, Annabelle continues proving she's the MVP of this book adaptation, Jason Knightly keeps finding new ways to insert himself into Chelsea's journey (and we're certainly not complaining), and we're starting to think this series isn't actually about revisiting old lovers at...
Paris is Always a Good Idea Episode 1 "Paris Revisted" (Hallmark+)
In our Paris is Always a Good Idea Episode 1 review, we're diving into Hallmark+'s new series inspired by Jenn McKinlay's novel and starring Lacey Chabert and Scott Michael Foster. What begins as a business trip to Paris quickly becomes a deeply personal journey as Chelsea revisits the unfinished wishes her late mother left behind—and perhaps a few former loves along the way. We're breaking down the emotional premiere, the undeniable chemistry between Chelsea and Jason Knightly, Hallmark's unexpected obsession with the word "lovers," and why this may be one of the network's most mature, emotionally layered premieres yet.
November Christmas (Hallmark Hall of Fame)
We've reached the final stop on our Christmas in July journey through Hallmark Hall of Fame movies with November Christmas. Starring Sam Elliott, John Corbett, Sarah Paulson, Karen Allen, and a young Emily Alyn Lind, this emotional drama tells the story of a father determined to give his seriously ill daughter one last chance to experience the magic of the holidays. With the help of an entire community, Halloween and Christmas arrive months early in a heartfelt effort to fill her remaining days with joy. It's a very different kind of Hallmark Christmas movie - and a fitting way to w...
