Bart is shocked to learn that there was once a better prankster at Springfield Elementary, and it turns out to be Jonah Hill! Well, kinda. Plus, Marge gets judged by the other mothers for the snacks she feeds her kids. Honestly, a pretty fun episode that pokes fun at youtuber pranks, as well as OTT parents who think everything is unhealthy.

The Devil Wears Nada (S21E05)
Do you remember when Marge was a Playboy cover girl? It happened! And so did this episode, where she posed for a sexy calendar and got extra horny, unfortunately Homer's new job as Carl's assistant (who was promoted to supervisor), means he's unable to act on it. It then ends up with Marge considering sleeping with Flanders...yeah.
A lot of relatability here but also a lot that just felt unfinished or unnecessary. We also discuss sex games, kids complaining over nothing, our thoughts on Mountain Dew and more.

Marge In Chains
Neither of us were wearing a tie at all when we recorded this week's review of "Marge In Chains", an episode filled with laughs but never seems to know what it wants to be. As a parent, Marge's accidental theft due to sheer exhausion is VERY relatable, plus the Osaka flu outbreak took us back to the Covid days. The Good, The Sad And The Drugly (S20E17)
Lisa gets dosed up on "happy pills" whilst Bart falls in love with (again), this time with Jenny, aka Anne Hathaway, leaving Milhouse feeling abandoned. The result? A pretty sweet story that sees Bart finally show some appreciation to his poindexter best friend. If anything, the Lisa b-plot could have been a full-episode with some heavy themes. A winner by Season 20 standards.

In The Name Of The Grandfather (S20E14)
Dia duit! That's right this week we' gathered our lucky charms and and visited O'Flanagan's pub in Ireland for a pint or two, and boy are we glad that we did because this is arguably the best Simpsons vacation episode since Bart vs Australia.
Al Jean said the intention was to produce a love letter to Ireland and they succeeded. A really fun story that sees Homer and Abe buy an Irish pub and ignore the no-smoking laws.

Gone Maggie Gone (S20E13)
One of the most enjoyable Simpsons episodes in years. An absolute delight for anyone who enjoys a good problem-solving mystery, as the show pays tribute to the likes of The Da Vinci Code, National Treasure and more. Just a really fun episode that you can sit down and watch as a family.
We also discuss the use of the use of HD technology and whether the HD era is superior from a visual perspective, our favourite memories of bootleg "cams", Dando's fear of anything involving eyes and more.Oh and Dando now has even more pets. Enjoy!

No Loan Again, Naturally (S20E12)
Not only is this episode's story a showcase for just how despicable The Simpsons have become, but it also features arguably the darkest and bleakest moment in the history of the show. Basically, Homer blows the family's savings and they lose their house, Flanders buys it and rents it back to them, but soon evicts them after they abuse his generousity.

Meanwhile, Springfield Elementary are preparing to take the Vice President's Assessment Test, which means all of the trouble-makers are sent on a joyride to Capitol City with Skinner. A pretty enjoyable episode that sees Principal Skinner finally earn back some respect from the kids.
