Last time we did a trivia show, it was to celebrate 150 episodes of Third Impact Anime. This time, we're doing it just for fun, and because Bill finally built up a new stockpile of mind-melting anime trivia questions to stump his fellow co-hosts-- and stump he did.

On January 16th, 2025, the world lost one of the greats; American filmmaker David Lynch passed away at the age of 78, leaving behind a decades-long career of truly unique films and television series' including Twin Peaks, Eraserhead, Mulholland Drive, Blue Velvet, Inland Empire, and many more. We went to our biggest anime convention yet and what better way to celebrate than having our longest Con-versations episode yet. We're happy to present (ha) our 2023 Anime Secret Santa Special! If you're not familiar with this project, the kind folks over at the Taiiku Podcast (formerly the All Geeks Considered Podcast, formerly more-so the Reverse Thieves Podcast) organize an annual Secret Santa swap between various bloggers and podcasters in the fandom space.

The way it works is that every year, you're randomly assigned a Secret Santa, and they pick three shows for you to check out based on what you've seen via your favorite anime...

After a years-long absence, we one again returned to the hallowed halls of the Renaissance Waverly/Cobb Galleria in Atlanta, Georgia for the final year of Anime Weekend Atlanta... in that venue, at least.

Austin, Tori, and Tobias reflect on being back after a while, the convention moving on to a bigger and (hopefully) better location next year, and all the cool and fun stuff we got to do this year.
