So It's Come To This: A Simpson's Family Podcast
Cori and Bryan started this podcast as an activity that they and their children could do together, but alas the children grew up so now their pal Patrick is along for the ride. Come join them, as well as some special guests along the way, for some perfectly cromulent discussion about everything Simpsons. Join them as they discuss a variety of topics, and episode breakdowns where they compare their thoughts of the show growing up and seeing if their outlook has changed, as adults and parents.
Episode 133:Treehouse of Horror XII or Well Ya Know... Gypsies
It's Spoopy Season so you know what that means, it's time for another Treehouse of Horror episode. We goa all the way back to 2001 to take a look at the 12th offering which starts off with Homer getting cursed. Then it's time for a story about an AI house that goes rogue which is a lot more scary now then it was back in 2001. The final segment shows us what life would be like if the Simpsons universe combined with Harry Potter. Treehouse of Horrors are some of our favorite episodes so check this one out to see what...

Episode 131: Brother from the Same Planet or No Offense to Jerks
Here are some words that rhyme with all new episode! Nematode, electrode, trematode, pal..in...drome. Along the way we meet some nerds, a crusty old Dean, a beloved and well connected mascot and see a little slice of campus life at Springfield University. So bring out those new school supplies and join us for this absolute classic from Season 4.
We also talk about:
- A new...
Episode 129: Like Father Like Clown or Mike Mania (Taylor's Version)
In this episode Krusty embraces his faith and rekindles the relationship with his father. We were very impreseed how this episode mixed kept the classic Simpsons humor but didn't shy away from incorporating religious dogma as well. We have a much greater appreciation for this episode now then we saw it all of those years ago so give it a listen to hear our thoughts.
We also talk about:
- Sad cat content
- Podcast host threats or maybe it's just a fever dream
- Monkey Civil War...
Episode 128: Brush with Greatness or Do You Want to be Shaken by a Baby in the Middle of the Street

...
Episode 126: Bart's Friend Falls in Love or Brain Full of Mucus, It's Scientifically Proven

Episode 125: Homer and Ned's Hail Mary Pass or I Don't Make The Rules, Just The Lies
The Super Bowl may be long past but Cori picked an episode with a football title that actually had little to do about football. Surprisingly enough it was oddly relevant to this year's Super Bowl Halftime Show. Who knew? This one takes two seemingly unrelated stories and smashes them together while making sure to get a ton of sports celebrity appearances crammed in as well, for good measure. Go give it a listen, because hey what else are you doing?
We also discuss:
- New and creative ways to greet our fellow...
Episode 124: The Computer Wore Menace Shoes or I Don't Have the Answers, I'm Not an Answer Person
After a long hiatus (stupid scheduling conflicts) we're finally back and we're bringing you this bizarrely insane offering form the Simpsons that looks at early internet culture as well as what happens to Homer when he learns too much. We didn't realize it was a parody of the television show "The Prisoner" so once we knew that we felt a little different about this one. So come along and join us on this wild ride! We also discuss:
- A Bills rant
- Absurd literary references
- The return of News and Views?<...
Episode 123: Two Dozen and One Greyhounds or I Doth My Cap And A Hardy 6-7 To You
For this episode we went back to this classic from the golden era of the Simpsons. It's not only our 123rd episode but also the 123rd episode of The Simpsons (we swear it was a total coincidence). Santa's Little Helper becomes of father to not one, not two but 2 dozen and one greyhounds. Join us for this really fun one, we really like the vest! And don't forget our standard nonsense which includes the following:
- Cori's tired
- Shouting out all the Mikes

Episode 122: Halloween of Horror or Big Glow Stick is Upset
Happy Halloween everyone! For a spooky episode such as this we invited our pals and some of the biggest horror fans we know, from the Bogeyman's Closet podcast Mike Alvarez and Artist Taramarie McCoy. Episode 119: Lisa's Substitute or Did You Know I Was a Gifted Child?
On this episode we take a look at an absolute classic that is a bit of a departure as it is a bit more dramatic than others we are used to. Miss Hoover has Lyme Disease which brings a new teacher to Springfield Elementary and one that Lisa becomes quite enamored with. While this is going on Bart takes a run at Class President. We had a blast breaking this one down and we hope that you have just as much fun listening to it!
* Please note that there was a slight audio glitch shortly after the...
Episode 118: Exit Through the Kwik-E-Mart or When It Doesn't Go Well It's Best To Point It Out
In this episode we welcome our friend and artist, in every sense of the word, Joe Kent (Think So Joe) and let him pick the episode. He went with a great one from Season 23 that has Bart getting involved in the underground street graffiti scene and meeting some of the most popular artists while he's at it. This episode is chock full of chaos, callbacks and all the tomfoolery that you have come to expect from us. We think you'll be politely surprised.
We also discuss:

Cori was inspired by seeing the recent Lady Gaga performance at Coachella, so much so that she chose this episode featuring the Mother Monster herself. Give it a listen to see what Patrick and Bryan thought and to see if Cori can take of the rose colored glasses and look at this one critically. This is a fun one and we hope you join us for the ride.
We also discuss:
- Quoting Alanis Morsette
...
Episode 115: The PTA Disbands or We're in the One Teens and Still No Change
Coming at you with an all new episode. In this one we find out what happens when dissatisfied teachers decide to strike and how Bart is just an agent of chaos. We also bring you our normal amount of nonsense when we discuss:

Episode 114: The Front or The One With All the Alibies
Annoyed by boring and predictable Itchy & Scratchy episodes Bart and Lisa recruit Grandpa to help them get noticed for the scripts that they write. Episode 112: Detroit Rock Diddily or The Children Would Say It's Cringe
On this episode we take you back to a long forgotten episode that the Simpson's team has been trying to remove from existence for it's questionable content and the involvement of Edward Furlong. It's hard to find but we found it and we're bringing it to you.
Edward Furlong comes to town and puts one over on the town of Springfield in an attempt for him to make it big again. Looking at the episode through a 2025 lens we can see why it only aired once (never in syndication) and is not available on Disney+. Give it...
Episode 111: The Principal and The Pauper or We're Not A Good For You Factory
Patrick chose this one to encourage us to take a look at one of the most divisive episodes that changed the course of The Simpsons from this point forward. When Seymour Skinner is outed as a fraud how will the Town react? We also go to bat for the episode and don't understand all the hate that is thrown it's way. We also discuss:

We chose a recent episode, so recent that it originally aired only a few weeks ago. A star studded Series Finale fake out that starts as a tribute to the long running series turns into a nice little story about Bart being forced to deal with change. We really enjoyed this one, so much so that Patrick might give some more recent episodes a chance. Join us as we also discuss:-

In this one Marge discovers a new interest in Timber Sports and leaves her family behind to pursue her dream, as she travels to Portland. Don't worry the family isn't far behind and we get some great laughs at Portland's expense.

Join us as we also bring you:
- Cori's Oscar status report
- We actually do talk about X
