Incredibly, an NBC talking head suggested Oregon quarterback Dante Moore fake an injury so he can bail on the struggling Oregon football team in order to preserve his NFL draft status for 2027.  Of course Moore walked away from $50 million dollars by returning to the Oregon Ducks for the 2026 college football season since he probably would have been a top 2 pick last year.  And if he has a bad year his draft stock could suffer.  But faking an injury is one of the more idiotic ideas we've ever heard.

The Ohio State Buckeyes blew a 20 point 4th quarter lead by allowing Manning and the Texas Longhorns to score 21 unanswered points in a 24-23 loss Saturday night.  Tune in to find out how it went down as the Buckeyes looked unbeatable for the first three quarters before the bottom fell out!

Kyle Whittingham's Michigan football team looked completely different from the team that barely beat Western Michigan last week by upsetting #11 Oklahoma with a tremendous defensive effort vs quarterback John Mateer on its way to a 17-10 win at the Big House.  And much maligned Michigan quarterback Bryce Underwood made key throws and just enough nifty runs like his 38 yard touchdown run. 

Plus Jyaire Hill, who committed a costly 15 yard penalty earlier, made up for it with a timely interception return to the 6 yard line in the 4th quarter setting up Michigan's game winning touchdown by Jordan Marshall.

Forget about the Big Ten vs SEC hype because this weekend's college football slate gives us a couple of Big Ten vs Big XII can't-miss showdowns between Oregon at Oklahoma and the Cy-Fair series between Iowa State at Iowa!  The Oregon football team put a 66 point beat-down on Okie State last year and got Mike Gundy fired.  Meanwhile Vegas lists the Iowa football team as 14-point favorites against the Cyclones in a game that usually comes down to a last second kick!

Rutgers football looks like it is in BIG trouble following last week's fiasco loss to UMass!  It might be time for the Big Ten to evict the Scarlet Knights.  They are struggling on the football field and financially despite their annual Big Ten windfall!  The loss to the Minutemen, the worst football program in the country, was startling because Rutgers was a -28.5 point favorite and looked like they hadn't practiced all summer.
