After a brief interlude, and me figuring out even more audio editing tools, we are back with Pygmalion into the second part of act 2, because we have to finish it someday. We learn about historical words like blackguard, get sidetracked about medieval saints into breast feeding, and learn that Henry Higgins is a dress sniffer.

Expect sincere performances, wandering character voices, irreverent commentary, and the occasional derailment in the name of comedy. Whether you’re a literature nerd, a theatre kid, or someone who just likes hearing old, fancy people get roasted, welcome!

We return to finish The Importance of Being Earnest by Oscar Wilde.

Join us as we perform a dramatic reading of Wilde’s razor-sharp comedy of manners: complete with mistaken identities, invented alter egos, and relentless social satire. We only occasionally break character to give it the good old Mystery Science Theater treatment. Classic theatre, lovingly performed… and gently heckled.

This episode covers Act Three, the return of a WAY over talkative character, questionable family trees, and the answer to What is the importance of being Ernest? Expect sincere performances, irreverent commentary, and the occasional dera...

We are back with Pygmalion into the first part of act 2, because man was this longer than we remembered. A girl gets kidnapped, we learn that's ok because she doesn't belong to anyone, and we are glad that Higgins was into accents and not skin.

Expect sincere performances, wandering character voices, irreverent commentary, and the occasional derailment in the name of comedy. Whether you’re a literature nerd, a theatre kid, or someone who just likes hearing old, fancy people get roasted, welcome!

Taking a break from fun shows, we switch things up with Pygmalion by George Bernard Shaw. He's.. entertaining in ways we assume did not intend to be. This is the first act/chunk of the show, and there's quite a few character breaks as we try to figure out what's going on.

Expect sincere performances, wandering character voices, irreverent commentary, and the occasional derailment in the name of comedy. Whether you’re a literature nerd, a theatre kid, or someone who just likes hearing old, fancy people get roasted, welcome!
