I decided to start my own CAF 2025 tournament with an African matchup, and the first fixture I picked was Nigeria vs Senegal. I wanted to play my usual style from the start, which is possession football. So I wasn’t rushing. Just passing around, switching from left to right, waiting for their midfield to shift. Senegal tried to press me early but they couldn’t get the ball. Yesterday I decided to recreate that Portugal vs Uzbekistan World Cup match but only for the first half. I didn’t want to go overboard, so I told myself I won’t score more than 5 goals before halftime. Second half I switched and started playing anyhow sha 🙂💔😹 I got too confident after that first half control. So I decided to be naughty with my goalkeeper. Passing from GK to defender, back to GK, then back to defender again like I was doing freestyle. I thought Cyprus were tired and wouldn’t press me. Big mistake.
