Greg won the Boston Marathon in 1983 with a time of 2:09 and he was the last American to win Boston until 2014.  He has set road racing records in the 8K, 10K, and 15K.  He’s set (10) American Road Racing Records, (2) World Records, AND he’s won the 25K River Bank Run in his hometown and mine of Grand Rapids, MI seven times!!  Ladies and gentlemen….Greg Meyer!!

He also taught English in South Korea for two years, which explains the sarcastic tone of the South Korean population at that time. Michelle started her career in 1984 at WGRD in Grand Rapids, MI while she was still a student at Central Michigan University. She then went on to New Jersey, came back to Grand Rapids, went to Detroit where she was part of a very successful show with Gregg Henson.  Came BACK to Grand Rapids and worked with Scott Winters, Kevin Matthews, Tony Gates, and GREGG HENSON again!! My guest on this Episode 19 of “Tight 10 with Dave Dyer” is Professional Motorcycle Racer and 2-time Dakar Rally winner, Ricky Brabec!  In 2014 Ricky won the Baja 1000, the Baja 500, and the San Felipe 250 Endurance Races.  He’s represented the U.S. in the International Six Days Enduro competition, which is the oldest sanctioned competition going all the way back to 1913.  Oh, and about those Dakar Rally wins…Ricky’s the first American to win that race on a motorcycle…take that, rest-of-the-world. My guest today is Tom Griswold!  Tom is the host of  “The Bob and Tom Show”. A show that started in Petoskey, MI in the early 1980’s, moved to Indianapolis in 1983, and then became nationally syndicated in 1995. In 2015, Bob Kevoian and Tom Griswold were inducted into the National Radio Hall of Fame, but MOST of all, 18 years ago he was willing to book a feature act out of Grand Rapids, MI on the show.
