The Federal Reserve - Is It Really Federal or Private or What?
#36

The Federal Reserve is a "two-headed" beast—a public federal agency in D.C. The Board of Governors, overseeing 12 private-ish regional banks owned by commercial member banks. The Board is a federal government department with a twist. They don’t get paid from the treasury, they make their own money from the U.S. bonds they hold. The 12 regional banks are privately held by large U.S. commercial banks which had to buy-in.

While the Fed doesn't decide to spend money (only Congress can do that), it does make it much easier for the government to borrow.

Are We Still The United States Of America - Or the Barley held Together Associated States of America?1
#34
Last Tuesday at 10:30 AM

In todays America, States want the federal benefits but not the fed oversight. They seem not to acknowledge federal; jurisdiction. Also states are not closely bound in a common cause anymore, they are polarized by politics or by socialists views or any number of things. The citizens no longer share a common ideology or purpose. We used to be united in a national identity and a common purpose or an ideology. I see that all falling apart.

We used to call ourselves Americans, now it seems more like 350-400 million people who Just live in America. I...

How Did Our Elections Become Big Business - How do We Fix It.
#37
Last Sunday at 10:30 AM

In the 2024 election cycle, total spending hit a record $15.9 billion. To put that in perspective, if a candidate spent $1 every second, it would take them over 500 years to spend what was spent in just one election cycle. When that much money is in the air, the individual voter's voice is no longer a whisper—it’s effectively silent.

Data from OpenSecrets and RepresentUs reveals a nearly unbreakable trend in federal races over the last several cycles:

U.S. House of Representatives: Roughly 94% of candidates who outspent their opponents won their racesU.S. Senate: Roughly 82% of candidates who...

Dig baby Dig - Refine baby Refine - Dig our way to a Prosperous future
#32
04/30/2026

We have been told for a long time that China had all the rare earth elements tied up. We had to buy from china or all the Chips and EV batteries had to be made in china. The was definitely not true. I think it was a con job by liberals and environmentalists who just didn’t want us to find it and mine it here in the U.S..

If it wasn’t so destructive this might be a funny moment. Truth is it’s not funny at all. You see all it took was someone like p...

Climate Change - The CO2 Thing - Is it all mankind's Fault?
#31
04/28/2026

New Discoveries are challenging the idea that "the science is settled" by highlighting that we are still finding massive, primary drivers of Earth's metabolism.

New research shows a 2.4-million-year gravitational cycle between Earth and Mars that affects deep-ocean currents and global warmth. Current Science Suggests that it could have had an impact on our ice ages, when they formed and when they receded. It causes "deep-sea eddies"—massive underwater whirlpools—that keep the deep ocean from becoming stagnant

During the Cambrian period, CO2 was nearly 10 times higher than today. The Earth didn't "die"; it was a "G...

Modern Medicine - Gap In The Safety net
#23
04/26/2026

We talk a lot about "Modern Medicine"—the robots, the lasers, the miracle drugs. But today, I want to talk about the "Low-Tech" hole in the system that is actually putting lives at risk. It’s the gap between the specialist and your PCP doctor. We call it "Care Fragmentation," but you probably know it as: "The right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing.”

Research into the American healthcare system highlights a few startling statistics regarding these gaps:

Communication Failures: Studies have shown that roughly 25% to 50% of PCPs are unaware of what happens during...

The Cost Of The New You - Almost instantly fit in that little Black Dress, At what Cost?
#29
04/23/2026

In today’s podcast I want to talk about an issue that has been around for quite some time, but has recently because of new science and medical advancements, has become a much bigger issue. I am talking about the fast track in ads In As little as one day to get the kind of body you always imaged . You know, the GLP-1 craze, the laser fat removal thing, the bariatric thing and last but not least Breast augmentation. I know at this point this will affect women more, however men are quickly turning to these same things for we...

Do We Value Human life Anymore - Or Are we Future Fertilizer
#28
04/21/2026

"For 60,000 years, from the caves of Shanidar to the mounds of the Ohio Valley, humans agreed on one thing: the body is sacred. We built 'Houses of Eternity' and held festivals to feed the memory of our fathers. But in the last decade, we’ve entered 'The Great Forgetting.' We’ve been told that a flower on a grave is 'waste' and that a grandmother in a bed is a 'statistic.' We are the first generation in human history to look at our ancestors and see a 'carbon problem' instead of a foundation.”

Lessons By My Dad - Our Little White Donkey
#26
04/19/2026

When I was 7 or 8 years old we lived on a small farm in south willard, not far from the weber county line in Utah. We had 2 or 3 milk cows, one we miked for our use and dad would buy baby calves at auction to put with the other cows after they calved. We had Holstein cows and they produced enough milk to feed 3 or 4 calves. One of those cows just had her calf and dad went to the auction get some baby calves to put with her. But when he got home there was no baby calves, but there...

Artemis ll - Did we just go to the moon in a space age model A Ford?
#30
04/16/2026

I have been watching all of the press coverage of the Artemis ll moon mission. I have to say I haven't been all that excited. I was the for the moon landing stuff in 1969. I mean I wasn't actually there but I watched it all. Looking back though It occurs to me that, to use an analogy, it was like going to space in a Model T ford. And now 57 years later It was like going to space in a Model A ford. Very little difference in the mode of travel. Fancier computers. So my thought is if we...

Sovereignty For Sale - New Zealand Voting Experiment
#22
04/14/2026

Imagine you move to a beautiful island nation. You’re there for a year. You don't know the history of the founders, you haven't studied the customs, and frankly, you might move again in two years. But after just 12 months, you’re handed a ballot to choose the Prime Minister.

This isn't a "what-if." It’s the law in New Zealand. Today, we’re looking at what happens to a country when "residency" replaces "loyalty," and why the world is currently hitting a breaking point on the idea of "World Citizenship."

Let’s look at New Zealan...

Fraud Incorporated - The $100.00 Loophole
#21
04/12/2026

In California this month, investigators uncovered a massive "ghost fleet"—hundreds of businesses registered with the state using "Golden IDs." These aren't just stolen Social Security numbers; they belong to people who have left the country, meaning the "owner" of the company doesn't even know it exists, and they aren't around to check the mail when the debt collectors Come Calling.

We're looking at the numbers from the GAO—which estimate that fraud is now effectively the sixth-largest "agency" in the federal government. We're talking hundreds of billions of dollars. We’re also going to look at why yo...

Energy Hostage crisis Update = Forbes article
#27
04/09/2026

A recent Forbes article from April 5, 2026 challenges some the facts in my Energy Hostage Podcasts 1 & 2. According to the Writer I am misinformed. Well let's find out, Here is his words.

A widespread myth in energy circles is that U.S. refineries are “unable” to process the light, sweet crude produced by the shale boom. The claim tends to surface whenever gasoline prices rise or energy independence becomes a talking point. The argument is usually that the U.S. is producing record volumes of oil, yet still imports crude because its refineries were built for heavier foreign barrels.

Energy Hostage Crisis Part 2 - Follow The Money
#25
04/07/2026

"Welcome back. In Part 1, we looked at the ships. We looked at the missiles in the Strait of Hormuz. But today, we’re looking at the ledger. Because while the physical blockade is 7,000 miles away, the financial blockade is happening right at your local gas station. Today, we follow the money.” Those who give it and those who receive it.

"You might think your state capital is a safe distance from the $450 million circus in D.C. It isn't. In fact, it’s often cheaper—and more effective—for Big Oil to buy a state senator than a U.S. Sen...

Energy Hostage Crisis Part 1 - Energy handcuffs

The Smell Test

We’re Being told that we are energy independent. We see the oil rigs in Texas, the pumps in Utah. Yet, a drone strike in the Strait of Hormuz 7,000 miles away just added $2.00 to your gallon of gas. If we have the oil, why are we paying A ransom To the middle east? Something doesn't smell right, and today, we're going to follow that scent and see where it leads. My Thoughts on this whole Mess. The oil and gas leases that our government makes available to oil companies represent an asset of the American pe...

Who’s A Citizen Now? Things Are Changing.
#17
04/02/2026

Historically, most of the world follows one of two legal principles:

Jus Soli (Right of Soil): You are a citizen because you were born on the land. (Common in the Americas).Jus Sanguinis (Right of Blood): You are a citizen because your parents are. (Common in Europe and Asia).

What’s changing in 2026: The "unrestricted" versions of these are disappearing.

In Europe: Almost no country offers unconditional birthright citizenship anymore. France, Germany, and the UK all now require parents to have lived there for several years before a child is born to get automatic citizenship.Ireland wa...

Abortion - The Lost Generations
#16
03/31/2026

I believe that every egg that is fertilized and implants properly in the uterus, has the potential for greatness. I mean we never know which one of them might be the next Albert Einstein, or Mozart, or someone great from all walks of life

If we take the worldwide abortion statistics from the last 40 years and apply the statistical distribution of "greatness"—measured by careers in science, medicine, the arts, and peak intellectual achievement—we can create a quantitative "loss of human capital" projection.

1. Establishing the Raw Numbers

According to the World Health Orga...

When A republic Falls - what comes Next?
#15
03/29/2026

The idea of a "stable Republic." The Founders (especially in Federalist No. 57) argued that the "Great Security" for a republic isn't just the parchment of the law, but the Civic Virtue of the people.

The Founders didn't just worry about a King; they worried about a "Demagogue"—a leader who gains power by appealing to the passions and prejudices of the people rather than their reason.

Abraham Lincoln famously warned that a republic like ours cannot be destroyed from the outside; it can only collapse from within.

"If destruction be our lot, we mu...

Has the left completely lost their minds

Michael Savage definitely has a way of coining phrases that stick in the mind. His book Liberalism Is a Mental Disorder was a massive bestseller because it tapped into exactly what we’re feeling—the sense that certain policies aren't just "different opinions," but seem to fly in the face of basic logic or national self-interest.

Liberalism is destructive - Not Rational - No common sense.
#13
03/24/2026

am approaching this Podcast from a “liberalism is Destructive Mentality. Here are a few modern examples (circa 2024–2026) that critics often point to as "common sense" breaking down in favor of ideology:

1. "Sanctuary" Logic vs. Local Impact

One of the biggest "head-scratchers" for many is the conflict between declaring a city a "Sanctuary" and then declaring a "State of Emergency" when people actually arrive.

The Paradox: In 2024 and 2025, several major "Sanctuary Cities" (like Chicago and New York) began pleading for federal help and even suggesting that residents host migrants in their spare rooms. The "Crazy" Angl...

Why should we Accept A 49% Failure Rate -- That's our current Government
#18
03/23/2026

The collision at LaGuardia last night (March 22, 2026) is a devastating reminder of how thin the "margin for error" is in our national infrastructure. Reports indicate that an Air Canada Express jet collided with a Port Authority fire truck that had been cleared to cross the runway while responding to a separate emergency. Tragically, both pilots were killed.

TSA is short about 3,000 traffic controllers. We have lost aprox. 300 in the last 30 days because of the shut down. The agency responsible for finding new candidates and training them is shut down as well. So, we are loosing more people...

Who’s In control of your Meds, You, the Pharmacy, Or the PBM’s?
#12
03/22/2026

Objective: To investigate the technical and economic mechanisms that prevent price transparency and consumer choice in the modern medical system. Specifically prescription drugs.

The Reality (The "System" Problem)

The reason you feel the system is "dishonest" is that the PBM's incentives have shifted.

The Rebate Trap: PBMs often prefer expensive drugs over cheap ones because they take a percentage of the "rebate." If a drug costs $1,000 and the PBM gets a 20% rebate ($200), they make more money than if they suggested a $50 generic. The "Spread": As we discussed, they charge your Insurance $100 and pay the...

Who is Running The Show? The Crazy Few Or the Rational Majority?

My Crazy Theory - The data on the Factions

After reading the recent study done to identify the factions if you will of the democrat and republican parties. My theory is that the percentage of the factions on both sides that leaned more moderate was much higher than the extremes of each side. It turns out that my crazy theory wasn’t too far off and here is the numbers.

The idea is that if you peel away the 10–15% on the "Woke Fringe" and the roughly 17% of the GOP that the Manhattan Institute identifies as the...

Party Discipline - Blackmail or Interference of my Representatives duty to his District.
#10
03/17/2026

What happened to the idea that our congressmen work for us.? The idea of "voting your conscience" is a cornerstone of how many people believe representative democracy should work, so seeing it replaced by threats and "party discipline" feels like a betrayal of that ideal. I mean blackmailing our representatives by their own party?

The Reality Check: When you see a "considerable number" of politicians leaving at once, it’s a sign that the systemic pressure has become higher than the personal reward of the job. They aren't just leaving a job; many are fleeing a system th...

Green Energy -- Is It Really Green. Our Next Environmental Crisis.
03/15/2026

A lot of things are happening to make green energy safer and Green. But there are some issues. It might seem like I am against green energy, but not true. I just want us to make sure it's green and I mean really green, Not just another environmental crisis of our own making.

After all, Green energy cannot be truly green if it creates another environmental crisis in it’s place.

. The Scale of the Problem

The "waste tsunami" is no longer a theoretical projection; the first generation of mass-market solar panels and ea...

What Happens When The People Loose faith in Their Government - It Doesn't End Well.
#8
03/12/2026

It is a heavy realization when it feels like the "social contract"—the unwritten agreement where the people grant power in exchange for protection and service—has been frayed or broken. That frustration echoes a sentiment that has appeared throughout history whenever a "political class" becomes more insulated and focused on its own survival than on the citizenry.

By the late 1800s, the U.S. looked very much like what’re seeing now. Political "machines" (like Tammany Hall) controlled everything. Parties were so powerful that they chose candidates in "smoke-filled rooms," and the average voter felt like a spec...

The Federalist. Jeffery Reynolds Book - Behind the Curtain

I don’t care what side of the Isle you’re on, this can’t make any sense. However, if you just believe that your side has to win at all cost, well in some perverted way I guess it does. But, what is the cost? And it’s not just a monetary cost. Consider this, 1 out of every 5 dollars spent on U.S. elections came from just 100 billiona...

senior cost of Living Dilemma -- Government COLA numbers don't match reality
03/08/2026

The "Real" Cost of Living vs. The 2.8% COLA

While the official COLA for 2026 is 2.8%, research from the Senior Citizens League and other advocacy groups suggests that the "senior-specific" inflation rate often sits significantly higher.

For many seniors, a nursing home is used as a de facto housing program. If you cannot afford rent and have even a minor health issue, the system often defaults to placing you in a facility because Medicaid will pay for the "bed" there, but often won't pay for "rent" in an apartment.

If your costs have increased by 95...

The Political Party System -the greatest political evil under our Constitution.-John Adams
#5
03/05/2026

Our Founders warned us about the Political Party from the very beginning. George Washington Described it as A frightful Despotism. Parties were Factions Then

"The alternate domination of one faction over another, sharpened by the spirit of revenge, natural to party dissension... is itself a frightful despotism."

John Adams: "There is nothing which I dread so much as a division of the republic into two great parties, each arranged under its leader, and concerting measures in opposition to each other. This, in my humble apprehension, is to be dreaded as the greatest political evil under our...

Enemy Across The Isle - Or Friend - Or Both - Politics can be Ugly - But friendships can survive.
03/03/2026

The Myth of the "Good Old Days"

we’re told today that we’ve never been more divided. We look at the shouting matches on cable news the hate and the vitriol and think, "It was never like this before." But history tells a different story. The 1800s were brutal. We’re talking about a century that started with a duel between Hamilton and Burr and peaked with a literal Civil War.

But tucked away in the corners of that violent history are stories that feel almost impossible today. Stories of men who spent their days t...

Minnesota Fraud - The Tip of the Iceberg
#3
03/01/2026

What we are seeing in Minnesota is just the Very Small tip of a very large iceberg. If we use their numbers and extrapolate for a national figure we are a over a halt a Trillion dollars and I think in the final analysis it will be much larger.. However we have other contributing factors that make it much worse than just the amount of the Fraud. I call this whole thing the 4 whammy's

1- the fraud itself

2- The interest. We are in deficit spending in the U.S. so in fact every dollar...

Lessons from my Dad. -- The Black Stranger
#2
02/26/2026

I am who I am because of my Parents. My dad in particular, had a way of teaching things about life, that many times I don't think he really knew he was teaching at the time. It was not what he said most of the time, it was what he did. The way he worked, the way he dealt with neighbors, friends and even strangers. This podcast is just one example the important life lessons he taught me, by doing it, not saying it. This experience has had a major impact on my life, I hope it can help...

Why the hell do we need a judge to decide everything. and how did we get here?

Hello everybody, This is Craig Warren of "Rambling of an old fart Podcast" Todays Podcast is what I call "why the hell do we need a judge to decide everything?" We'll have a nice discussion about that.

The truth is we shouldn't, or at least not for Politics and Government, But somebody left the barn door open and now the animals are running wild. Yes, I did refer to them as animals, In my bio I mentioned I grew up on a farm in Utah, I learned at a young age that if you don't keep the...
