Bev Makes Friends
Beverly Lee L'Anderson just wants to make friends and be famous. Join Bev as she records guests in her living room and pursues her dreams. This improvised comedy is created by Betsy Rives and features guest comedians each episode.
Money Moves
With 2 dead bodies and 4 potential suspects in the hotel, Bev tries the "follow the money" method to solve this crime. Detectiving is proving harder than Bev expected. The only way this could get worse is if more people died.
This is a limited series collaboration between Bev Makes Friends and No Alibi Improv.
Performers: Nate Brosy as Uncle Catholic, Madeline Evans as John Dylan Ryan, Stuart Fleisher as Joe Billy Billy Joe, Joshua Quinn as Barry Franks, Maddie Ruark as Creme Bru'labia, Faith Volpe as Mike Hawk, Betsy Rives as Bev, with musical theme created...
Love Lost
John Dylan Ryan is dead! Bev is now looking for a serial killer. She starts with some of her news lady reporting clips from the start of the day before jumping forward in time to listen to the security footage of John Dylan Ryan's murder on the 6th floor (the floor for hooking up). Bev learns some startling new details about both Mike Hawk's and John Dylan Ryan's deaths. Sadly, the only suspect Bev can eliminate now is John Dylan Ryan. Everyone else is still very suspicious.

Power Play
Bev continues searching for Mike Hawk's killer by reviewing security footage from before and after the murder. Unfortunately, there is no shortage of people who hate Mike... and no shortage of people who seem to be lying or keeping secrets.

Mike Hawk's Dead

The Voice and the Novice
To help Bev prepare for her upcoming radio news lady job, famous local radio host, Portia, stops by to share some tips. Cal Callahan, of the Colonel news paper, joins them as Bev's mentee. It turns out a big part of having a face for radio is beauty, obtained through Time Inversion Tablets. Hopefully beauty helps Bev as she and Cal pursue "true" crime podcasting.
Guests: Karie Vieira as Portia; and Erica Acebo as Cal
The Clip and the Clip
When Bev's timer broke, some show recordings went over time!!!! Some bits had to be cut for time. These are some of those silly bits. If you're looking for super goofy, chaotic, and nonsensicalness - this is for you!
Guests: Gabriella Gordon, Cozmuh Sylth, Austin Leal, Austin Combs, Finn Rueffert, Maddie Ruart, Brad Lasky, Stephen Johnson, Leslie North, Ethan Boone, Michael Smith, Joseph Lopez, Marietta Mendler, Mads Nau, and Aaren Lasky.
The Rocks and the Hard Place
Saff is back at Bev's for some robe time! But before gossip and games begin, Gaylord P. Stiles (owner of the crystal shop before the dump) stops by with gifts, spells, and a plea for friends. Bev tries hard to build friendship with Gaylord, but Saff is hesitant... a challenge even magic can't fix.
Guests: Scottie Rowell as Saff; and Karie Vieira as Gaylord
The Un-aliver and the Lover
Pat and Cat Jacket, of Crime Scene She Wrote fame, visit Bev to promote their 437 different forensic reenactments. These detailed videos not only help students learn to identify clues to solve crimes, but also give Bev a glimpse into the complex balance of reality and pretend in the Jackets' marriage.
Guests: Rob Horton as Pat Jacket; and Tiffany Brunner as Cat Jacket
The Dine and the Dash
Bev's new housemate, Francis, stops by to set the record straight and get the recognition he deserves. Too bad he is interrupted by Detective Randy Newman who is on the hunt for an escaped fugitive. Luckily Bev's there to get the facts right... Robert Irwin did win Dancing with the Stars.
Guests: Walker McKnight as Francis, and Sydney Van Alstyne as Detective Newman
The Rain and the Dream
Actress Lisa Lenaud’s car breaks down in a storm, and she is left stranded at Bev’s. Luckily Bev and her friend and handyman, Marty McCluster, are gearing up to play in the rain! Who doesn’t love a romcom in a make-believe waterfall (aka a roof leaking into a bucket)?
Guests: Brandon Short as Marty McCluster, and Yara Martin as Lisa Lenaud
The Noise and the Songs
Seff Charman and Norman Ochermarch from the Colonel Community Players stop by Bev's to promote their production, "Noise of Songs." While Bev may not be in this production, the Colonel community can look forward to future shows including "Aardvarks" and "St. Louis," which also don't feature Bev. Our apologies to the city of Colonel; this is not a movie theater.
Guests: Scottie Rowell as Seff; and Finn Rueffert as Norman
The Party and the Grammy
A visit from Bev's neighbor, Guy, turns into a revolving door of guests. There's singing, wrestling, a fire, the Muppet Show, and a local Grammy! Bev's doing her best, staying alive, and getting famous. This show has everything.
Guests: Trevor Hancock as "Macho Man" Randy Savage, Elmo, Coach Coffer, John Cleese, and Kermit the frog; and Clay Butler as Guy and Hugh Jackman.
The Laundry and the Spell
Devin Brendan, of the wash and fold, comes by Bev's just in time. It doesn't look like electrician Stiy Wisely can fix the washing machine, and Bev has a lot of sweatiness in her top that needs to be cleaned! While they sort out the laundry, Devin invites Stiy to join his secret spelling club. Hopefully Stiy lives to the next full moon.
Guests: Cozmuh Sylth as Devin Brendan and Austin Leal as Stiy (and Brenda) Wisely
The Daughter and the Tail
One of Bev's daughters, Dede, finally stops by! She's just in time for an important appointment with celebrity IVF specialist, Dr. Goofenschmidt. Bev is looking to have a baby that loves her and she can be proud of, Dede is looking to impress her mom, and Dr. Goofenschmidt really just needs to get his product on ice.
Guests: Marietta Mendler as Deborah Karen Diane L'Anderson (Dede) and Joseph Lopez as Dr. Arnold Goofenschmidt
The Detective and the Princess
Private Investigator, Dick White, follows an assignment to Bev's house. He's followed by the British Princess Delia. Can Dick build his confidence and be a detective? Will the princess get married? Will anyone ever know what the X-Files is about?
Guests: Brad Lasky as Dick White and Maddie Ruart as Princess Delia
The Ladies and the Cheese Poofs
Eugenia and Carol, neighbors from the big house on the hill, pay Bev a call with an invite to their salon. To Bev's surprise, she teaches them a thing or two about life, love, Fraiser, and the cheese poof.
Guests: Aaren Lasky as Carol and Mads Nau as Eugenia
The Men and the Mission
Two men come to see Bev as empty vessels seeking her lady wisdom. Despite Bev's best intentions, Feminalism is confusing. Are these guys really there to learn and listen? Will they even be able to make her famous? Why won't they say what they want to eat?!
Guests: Leslie North as Mr. C and Stephen Johnson as Killanthony
The Simons and the Timeline
Simon Yates, physics student and Bev's biggest fan, stops by with an urgent message. He's interrupted by... another Simon Yates? Who will pop-in next? Another Simon? Mr. Paramount? JESUS?
Guests: Michael Smith as Simon Yates (hair & middle-aged) and Charles Adger; Ethan Boone as Simon Yates (bald) and Jesus.
The Birds and the Boys
The Berry Brothers stop by Bev's to earn money for their Boy Scout troop. But the complexity of health insurance in the US leads them to create a whole new scout troop. It's more fun to make bird noises anyway. If this description is confusing, imagine how Bev feels looking through the boys' binder.
Guests: Austin Combs as Frank Berry and Finn Rueffert as Marvin Berry
The Goo and the Ocean
Two goo-people aliens, Phlegm and Spirit-gum, seek out Bev with an important message. Can Bev help them? Do they like the same movies? Will they drink La Croix? Who is more manatee, Bev or Brayden? All important questions are raised.
Guests: Christina Cusack-Curbelo as Phlegm and Kyle Golden as Spirit-gum
The Ghost and the Scout
A poultry-guys (poltergeist), Billissa, fell into Bev's house just before the ghost's nemesis and talent scout, Mr. Blonde Love, comes to Bev's door to seek revenge. Just because Mr. Blonde Love is there with a ghostbuster vacuum doesn't mean he can't also scout Bev for a tv role. How will Bev mediate their conflict fueled by crawfish and hurricanes?
Guests: Sonia Sayani as Billissa and Malik Whitfield as Blonde Love
The Stripper and the Organist
Bunny and Sunday, who once went to church together, both happen to be at Bev's house at the same time! The three ladies share gossip and brainstorm ways to get Bev on stage at the Mouse Trap. Together they create something revolutionary and holy... (or deeply blasphemous).
Guests: Alice Garriga as Ms. Bunny and Courtney McCullar as Ms. Sunday
The Agent and the Show
Hollywood bigwig, Veronica Nightingale, interrupts Bev's show with neighbor and former game show host, Chet McMasterly. Bev's a treasure, but does she have what it takes to make it in H-wood? Will Chet hold her back from her dreams? Do Chet and Veronica have a will-they-won't-they thing? Is Y a vowel?
Guests: Alex Devilliers as Chet and Nick Sparkman as Veronica
The Contract and the Rhyme
Brayden has the equipment up and running (we think), so Bev finally gets to record a show with scheduled guests! Liv, local business owner who is new in town, and the manager of her store stop by to share a bit about their business. Through song and rhyme, they just may reveal their true selves.
Guests: Lauren Smith as Liv, and Dylan Samsel as Num-num
The Germans and the Wonder Dog
Strauss and Tev come by in search of an awful cookie. They give Bev a past-life reading... but when Coach Coffer comes over looking for his lost dog (Coco the Wonder Dog), Strauss and Tev have a frightening realization about Bev and her neighbor.
Guests: Clay Butler as Strauss and Jerry; and Trevor Hancock as Tev and Coach Coffer
The Pie and the Pod
New neighbors and partners in love and life, Butterfly, Saffron, and Minksy, stop by to introduce themselves and bring Bev a pie. They introduce Bev to new words and ways of speaking - or singing - she's not exactly sure.
Guests: Stuart Fleisher as Saffron, Faith Volpe as Minksy, and Mary Michaels as Butterfly

The Slim Jim and the Ramen
Scout Girlies and sisters, Jessica and Allison, come by to sell Bev cookies! You know Bev loves cookies, almost as much as she loves new friends, Capri-Suns, and the Dollar Tree.
Guests: Lenise Lyons as Jessica, and Brittany Venzen as Allison
The Farmer and the Sale
Bev's neighbors, Carl and Teffani, stop by because there is friction between the city and country sides of the street. Are Carl's problems due to water shortage or childhood trauma? Does Teffani even own a rock?
Guests: Will Wright as Carl, and Ella Boyett as Teffani
The Crawdad and the Rutabaga
Old high school friends, Nelson and Belinda, stop by to deliver crawdads to Bev. Their visit leads them to experiment with to question... is love really is blind?
Guests: Daniel Dames as Nelson and Robbie, and Gabriella Gordon as Belinda

Bev's friends, Rick and Mary Katherine, stop by with exciting news! Everyone is looking for love - but have they already found it?
