BĂ & Me Closes in Honesdale After 12 Years in Business
BĂ & Me, a Vietnamese restaurant in Honesdale, will be closing its doors at the end of June. The restaurant has had locations in Callicoon, Livingston Manor, and Mountaindale, along with Honesdale, over the past decade, serving Vietnamese classics to our rural part of the region.
Radio Catskill’s Kimberly Izar spoke with Nhi Mundy, owner and chef at Bà & Me, about the closure – and the legacy she hopes to leave behind.

In Pine Bush, UFO Fair Celebrates Local Culture and Community
Unlike last year, the weather was bright on June 6 as the main streets filled with visitors, locals and experts exploring Pine Bush.
The 15th annual UFO Fair was hosted last Saturday and drew hundreds of people. The fair featured a packed schedule of entertainment on the main gazebo stage, guest speakers specializing in paranormal research and activities throughout the Town of Crawford Square. The Pine Bush UFO and Paranormal Museum also offered walking tours throughout the day.
More than 100 vendors sold a variety of Pine Bush-branded merchandise, handmade goods and food.

NY Attorney General Awards $1.3 Million to Delaware and Sullivan Farms from Pollution Lawsuit
New York Attorney General Letitia James and the state’s DEC awarded more than $1.34 million in grants to Delaware and Sullivan County farmers. The grant program is a result of the 2023 illegal pollution settlement with Friesland for their repeated environmental law violations at its facility in Delhi.Â
The grants will focus on access to new agricultural technology and improving soil health for 25 farms, including dairy, cattle, and organic crop farms.

Vietnam Veteran Art Flynn to be Honored at Equinunk Historical Society Ceremony
Art Flynn, a U.S. Navy veteran and Honesdale native, will be honored for his years of service on the USS Intrepid this Saturday, May 23, ahead of Memorial Day.Â
The ceremony will be at the Equinunk Historical Society in Equinunk, Pennsylvania, followed by an ice cream social at 1 p.m.
