tommy does golf

Right. Tommy and the crew have picked nine of the most iconic golf shots ever caught on camera — from the 1970s to the modern day.

They’ve watched them again. They’ve designed a marking brief. And they’ve applied it to every single one in the quest to crown Tommy Does Golf’s most iconic golf shot of all time.

Three shots each. Everyone scores every shot. No bias. No favours.

From Nicklaus to Tiger. From Royal Lytham to Augusta National.

The lads have done a great job describing the shots — bu...

In this episode, the lads reminisce about some of the game's greatest ever putters. The players who mastered the art of rolling the rock when everything was on the line. No flukes, no lucky bounces—just pure, ice-cold nerve and a stroke that refused to buckle under the heaviest pressure golf can throw at you.

We're talking about players who didn't just make putts—they made a name for themselves with the flat stick in their hands. The ones who seemed to hear the roar before the ball even dropped. From clutch major winners to the silky-smooth oper...

The Life and Times of Byron Nelson - Tommy is flying solo and has recorded a series of podcasts simply called 'LEGENDS'
While James and Paul have been 'double-busy' chasing balls and members, Tommy has locked himself away to dive deep into the legends of the game. And honestly? The stats he has dug up are absolutely mind-blowing. So good in fact that he felt compelled into lashing something together to narrate so that you can be left in awe too.

This episode is tommy's synopsis on the career of one of the true gods of...

One of our listeners got in touch with a brilliant question: Who do you guys most enjoy watching and why ? Not just the best players—the ones that make you stop scrolling and just watch. So, a few days after the conclusion of the US Open at Shinnecock Hills and before our thoughts turned towards the final major Championship for 2026 (The Open at Royal Birkdale), we decided to sit down, mid-season, and hash it out— Who are the players that we genuinely love to watch and more importantly... why?

If you love the game for more than just...

The crew sit down to recap the year's four big ones, but they've got a lovely problem on their hands. How are the lads supposed to contain themselves when a friend has gone and won the oldest, most prestigious major championship of them all?

Ladies and gentlemen, your champion golfer of the year - Mr Ryan Fox. Listen to the boys absolutely fizzing about Foxy's achievement.

They do their best to keep the energy up when giving you the full rundown on the other three majors - The Masters, The US PGA and The US...

The 2026 major season reaches its thunderous conclusion as Tommy and the lads serve up 26 minutes of pure golfing gold. It’s a full-throttle, banter-fueled ride into the oldest and most revered championship on the planet.

Somewhere on that ancient links, a champion is about to etch their name onto the immortal Claret Jug. Tommy cracks the whip with a quiz that'll separate the golf nerds from the casuals – expect some dodgy guesses and as always some laughter.

But the lads have done their homework too. They've dissected every bunker, slope, and devilish pin position to brin...

Ladies and gentlemen, strap in. You think you know the Wild Thing?

John Daly. Big JD. The man who took golf by the throat, chugged a Diet Coke, a cig dangling from his lip like he didn't care—because he didn't.

This episode is an absolute ripper because Tommy drops a story about the Wild Thing he's never told anyone before. Not on a podcast. Not in a bar. Not ever.

1995. A packed range. A crowd buzzing with anticipation—Big JD is about to rock up. What happened next? Tommy had a front-row seat...

It’s US Open time, baby. And not just any US Open—this is Shinnecock Hills. Rock-hard fairways, lightning-fast greens, and that brutal New York wind that’ll snap a scorecard in half before you can say “double bogey.” Tommy and the crew are doing what they do best: getting absolutely stuck in.

Here’s how this belter of an episode rolls. First up? A quiz that’ll separate the US Open diehards from the casuals. Think you know your Shinnecock history? Your Payne Stewart moments? Your Raymond Floyd masterclasses? The lads are battling it out, and trust us—it ge...

Alright, settle in. You know the drill by now—another absolute belter of an episode from the boys. This time, they're diving into something a bit special and are calling it The Caddy Chronicles.

Now, when you think of a caddy, what comes to mind? Someone to lug a heavy bag around for 18 holes, rake a bunker, and hand over a towel? Yeah, nah. Get that out of your head right now. The caddy is the unsung hero, the silent assassin, the psychologist, the windbreaker, and the guy who talks you off the ledge when it‘s all...

Right then, settle in folks—this one’s an absolute belter.

This is your full USPGA Championship preview.

Welcome back to the podcast, we are going full major mode. We’re heading to Pennsylvania, USA, to the stunning Donald Ross Designed Aronimink Golf Club.

So here’s the plan. First up, the boys are putting you through a USPGA Championship quiz—get your thinking caps on, no cheating. Then they tear into the golf course. They’ve picked apart the layout, dug up some fascinating facts, and found a few hidden gems that cou...

Welcome to tommy does golf. Join Tommy and the crew for a quick 20-minute chat – three PGA pros, light-hearted banter, and unfiltered takes from guys who've seen it all.

In this episode, they're diving into a weird one: the players who were ultra‑consistent for years – always there or thereabouts, winning multiple tournaments, competing at the top end of leaderboards week in, week out – but only managed to win a single major. Yep, just one. The boys pick out a handful of these legends, chew over their careers, and debate what stopped them from being even more revered...

It's over! Rory Mac goes back-to-back. Unreal.

But you don't need a 3-hour highlight reel. You need the real debrief. The one with bad takes, bruised egos, and one very loud gloater.

Tommy and the crew just sat down for a quick 19-minute huddle—no fluff, no ad reads, just fire. We're talking pre-tournament bets that aged like milk. We're talking that Sergio moment of madness (honestly, what was he thinking?). And Bob MacIntyre? Absolute scenes. A moment of madness followed by the gesture that's already a meme. You'll know it when you hear it.

Welcome to our Masters special. The countdown is nearly over. Augusta is upon us.
In true Tommy Does Golf style, Tommy puts the crew through their paces with a quiz designed to separate the green jacket enthusiasts from the casual Sunday roarers. Think you know the Masters? You’re about to find out.

We’re also locking in our official picks—the usual suspects, the dark horses, and the kind of hot takes that only major week can spark.

And for those who like a bit of action, we’ve drafted in our very own tips...

Uncanny, but it was exactly 18 minutes. We didn't plan it. But you don't ignore fate, do you? 18 holes. 18 minutes on the Great White Shark. It was meant to be.

This week, Tommy and the crew strapped on the scuba gear and plunged headfirst into the habitat of golf's most iconic—and let's be real, most divisive—predator. Greg Norman.

Love him? Fair enough. Loathe him? Plenty did. But here's the thing—you couldn't look away. The guy was prime-time Hollywood with a club in his hands. Box office. Must-see TV. Every tee shot felt like a scen...

This was always gonna get messy. Tommy and the crew - Taking on the impossible. Go on then.

In this episode, we attempted to justify the impossible—ranking the four majors from 4 to 1. Sounds easy? Try it. It's bloody brutal.

We juggled 'em. Flipped 'em. Changed our minds about fifty times. Because how do you actually do it? It's like choosing your favourite child. You can't. And even if you could, you shouldn't. Probably wise to just not go there. But we tried anyway.

All four Major Championship's are massive. All four are prestigious. Bu...

We break down the legendary tests ahead: from the windswept puzzle of Shinnecock Hills (US Open), to the classic, ball-striker's paradise of Aronimink (PGA Champ), the hallowed grounds of Augusta National (The Masters), and the timeless, dune-framed challenge of Royal Birkdale (The Open). We...
