The love, personal stories, prayers and messages after Murphie's passing have meant more that I can put into words. I'm reading every one of them.

Apparently Harris Teeter now has a Taproom... which means you can meet someone in the Produce Department, invite them to aisle 7 for a drink, have dinner from the deli, and be planning your future together by Self Checkout.

I had to help Murphie, my almost 10 year old lab mix (her Birthday would have been 6/10), cross the 🌈 Rainbow Bridge. It's been a difficult week, day and night.

Marci shares stories from nephew Carson's college graduation and commissioning as a U.S. Navy Officer, nephew Miles being named Athlete of The Year along with MVP honors in football and track, and the strange emotional experience of watching the next generation step into adulthood while you're still trying to figure out what you wanna do next while trying to remember where you left your reading glasses.

I started reading your comments, question, and messages - and instead of just answering them, I realized they were leading me somewhere.

It's a little looser, more reflective mixed with some honesty, and a snapshot of the feedback I'm getting. Kinda thinking this stuff (good stuff) may be part of every episode.

I thought this was going to be a simple Q&A episode...it didn't go that way. It went better.

Between recovering from Sally's birthday party and digging into your questions about my last episode and the old radio show, this turned into something bigger - what radio was really like behind the mic... and why doing a podcast now feels completely different.

I used it this week to wish his Mom a Happy 50th Birthday - and somehow that turned into a few more bday messages, including one from a listener.

I took a CPR class Y'all and didn't expect how much I'd walk away thinking about - not just what to do, but how much awareness and courage it takes to help someone else. KUDOS to those who do it every day.
