The Rotten Remix

Let's take a trip back in time when there were no bills, no responsibilities, and no adulting. Cereal, cartoons, and constant fun on OUR day as kids: Saturday.

Welcome to a brand new series titled Monday Motivation.

Today's episode is inspired by the classic 1991 hit song by Sounds of Blackness 'Optimistic'. Whenever you're faced with adversity, it's always best to remember that you will get through it. You have before.

Just when you thought it couldn't get any stranger, it got staanger. Here's my conclusion of the Beauty in Black Season 3 review.

Today I will be covering the cultural phenomenon that is Tyler Perry's Beauty In Black. Equal parts soap opera, unintentional comedy, and gangster film all rolled into one, this polarizing series has everyone talking. Including me.

In the first episode of Season 2, I will be discussing the iconic TV series Girlfriends. They were there for each other through thick and thin, but sometimes the thick got in the way of their tattered relationships.

You wanna be on top? Then don't go on America's Next Top Model, apparently. Here's a review of the latest Netflix doc sparking discussion and dissertations about a show that aged like milk.

Happy Valentine's Day y'all!!

If you're single, please use this as a guide of who not to get with. For everyone else, enjoy the laughs as my gift to you on this day of love.

As children of the 1980s, they tried to keep us away from d*ugs.

They tried it! But it was a futile attempt considering the music we grew up with. Come take a ride back through the early days of the culture, where we decided to let the music guide us to say Yes or No.

When you watch as much television as I have theme songs become a part of your upbringing. Here are just a few of my favorites, ranging from back in the day, to wayyyy back in the day.

Episode 4: The Battle of the Bands is on the horizon, but before that Jem and the Holograms take a trip to Las Vegas for more danger, deception, and bad parenting.

Episode 3. Jem is turning into the Beyoncé of 1980's Glam Rock! But Kimber is getting jealous. Will she ruin it all?

Episode 2. Jem and the Holograms find themselves in another bind after disaster strikes. But fear not! The Misfits are still around, trying to kill them once again.

Episode 1. Forty years ago (yikes) Jem & The Holograms debuted and changed my entire world. Join me as I break down the first five episodes of this wild origin story. Starting with episode 1: The Beginning.
