Ryan Brandhagan is a graduate from Aquinas College, where he majored in political science and theology before enlisting into the United States Marine Corps. He served as an 0341 mortarman and deployed twice in support of both Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Inherent Resolve. After his enlistment he earned a Master's degree in social work from Colorado State University. He currently works for the Department of Veteran Affairs. Â
