Derry City travel to Sligo Rovers on Saturday night full of confidence. Manager Tiernan Lynch is keen to keep his team’s momentum going, saying there’s “no reason to change a winning formula.” Michael Duffy, fresh off winning the Player of the Month award, will be a key figure as Derry look to close the gap at the top.

Adding further firepower, new signing Dipo Akinyemi joins on a multi-year deal, giving Lynch more options in attack. Sligo, struggling for form, face a tough task against a Derry side with eyes firmly on the title race.

Known for his physical presence and reliable goal-scoring, he joins Derry City on a multi-year contract.
