Three reasons why Christians must no longer live like Gentile pagans, who are darkened in their minds, and depraved in their hearts, alienated from God, and greedy to practice every kind of impurity. 

I. Because Christians have come to know Christ, v20-21. II. Because Christians have put off their old self, v22. III. Because Christians have put on the new self, v24. IV. How can we do this? Keep being renewed by God in the spirit of your minds, v23. 

Our common faith is rooted in: I. Our sufferings II. Our Service III. Our salvation

I. Jesus was really promised II. Jesus was really crucified III. Jesus really raised again from the dead. IV. How will you respond? With disbelief or faith?

I. What did Nadab and Abihu do and why was it a big deal? V1. II. What did God do, and why? vv3-7. III. What comes of this? The LORD gives Aaron his marching orders, vv8-11. 

I. Christians are to no longer live like many Christians used to live, v17. II. Sin had negatively affected their hearts, minds, desires, and activities, vv17-19. III. Their thoughts were futile, and understanding darkened. IV. They were alienated from spiritual life. V. Their hearts were hard, morally culpable, and calloused. VI. They gave themselves over to sensuality and were greedy for impurity. VII. Only Christ can rescue us!
