Soul Sessions is an offering from All Souls Counseling based in Asheville, NC, founded in 2000. Our mission is to serve as a leading nonprofit provider and community partner for quality mental health counseling, outreach, and education with a focus on those who are underinsured and uninsured in Western North Carolina. Mindfulness Meditation 101
There are many styles and traditions of meditation. This is one offering that we hope you find helpful. Mindfulness meditation has its roots in ancient wisdom and can help reduce stress levels, increase awareness, and improve mood and relationships when practiced regularly. Join Adam as we explore the Why and How of Mindfulness Meditation practice and then practice together for 5 minutes. Note: there's an additional 10-minute standalone practice also uploaded if you just want to dive into that practice.

Intro to Loving Kindness
This month we focus on a practice that goes back centuries called Loving Kindness. There are many ways to go about utilizing this practice but, in this episode, Adam explores a basic way to offer positive or loving thoughts toward individuals in your life. This includes someone that's easy to love, yourself, and all beings throughout the world. Additionally, you can access the practice in a standalone episode to help facilitate the practice without the intro and breath practice.
