MAFS Funny Podcast

There's been a few big updates with the police investigation into Married At First Sight producers following the "revenge porn" incident that recently occurred during filming for the upcoming 2027 season. Plus, I publicly apologise to some of the new cast members for judging them too early as I uncover some surprising things from their past.

Several weeks ago now, NSW Police informed Katie Walker’s family of a new discovery in her apartment which they believe backs their theory that she ended her life – but when questioned further on this, the police did not respond. Meanwhile, a friend of Katie’s in America details how in April and May she was convinced she was being followed by multiple men.

The updated picture in the artwork for this episode is a screenshot this friend took during a FaceTime with Katie as she claimed to see one of the men she believed was following her.<...

After Filip's YouTube channel has become a talking point across Australia, he's finally addressed the backlash with a brief public statement and new video discussing "triggering" people and... this isn't good. He had one chance to try and sway things and he's done the opposite.

PS: Apologies for my voice!

After the news broke earlier this week that police had been called by a participant of Married At First Sight 2027 following a revenge porn ambush by producers, here's what is happening now and how it all went down.

In this podcast you hear what happened last week as I attended the NSW Parliamentary Inquiry into unsolved murders and long-term missing persons cases where Katie Walker was used an example into present day police failures. The entire day was heartbreaking, infuriating and eye opening into what Katie is sadly now part of.

I also speak to Sally Leydon, the daughter of missing person Marion Barter, who you some of you may know from podcasts The Lady Vanishes or The Missing Matter, about proposed police reform.

After his split from Stella earlier this year, Filip has re-launched his YouTube channel and is pushing an anti-relationship, anti-woman and dangerous rhetoric that plays into misogyny and the manosphere. In this episode I break down what he’s saying, how there’s a financial motive attached to his views and how the rest of the cast, including Stella, are reacting to what feels like a new person to the one we watched on TV.

As Katie Walker’s story continues to reach more people, a growing number have questioned if she could have intentionally disappeared and is choosing to stay hidden. In this episode, after much research into previous cases like this around the world, I discuss why myself, and Katie’s family, do not believe this theory.

I also discuss the Parliamentary Inquiry that is happening in New South Wales tomorrow where Sally Leydon, the daughter of longterm missing person Marion Barter, will share Katie’s story.

As one couple are kicked off the show, another groom is dubbed the future 'most hated man in Australia' and four cast members have previously dated each other, in this episode I look at what's happening on-set of Married At First Sight 2027 and what we can expect from the upcoming 14th series.

As I await a response from NSW Premier Chris Minns on how he can help Katie Walker by raising her case with the Police Commissioner, this week I look at the eerily similar disappearance of 28-year-old Melody O’Gara (pictured) – who was last seen in the exact same spot as Katie in 2004.

The Tamarama location isn’t the only thing Melody and Katie’s disappearances have in common, which is what left Katie’s brother “freaked out” as I shared this story with him after it was first sent to me by a lovely listener.

I spent several...

After months of silence, NSW Police Media Unit finally respond to me about Katie Walker's disappearance - and what they say, and the reason I believe they decided to finally reply, will infuriate you. Australian radio star Kyle Sandilands also backs my investigation and helps me speak to NSW Premier Chris Minns who has now publicly promised to raise this with Police Commissioner of New South Wales.

In this episode, I also become emotional while explaining why Katie Walker's story resonates so much with me - and why I won't give up trying to find answers.

We start this episode with Katie Walker reading from her own book – an extract that is now chilling to hear knowing what happened before she got chance to finish writing. I then discuss the significance of Dubai in the story of her disappearance and how a human trafficking operation potentially first targeted Katie in Sedona and could be behind everything.

Throughout this series, and especially these last two episodes, i've struggled to make sense of everything I've been told and put it all into a script that'd make sense for you guys to follow - and that's bec...

Before I get to why Katie Walker’s friends and family now believe she was potentially targeted by a human trafficking operation, in this episode I take you back 10 years to Costa Rica when Katie’s search for solace led to her being persuaded to take psychedelic drugs as part of a ritual that promised her a spiritual awakening.

It was this trip that friends say changed the trajectory of Katie’s life and led to more darkness than enlightenment.

Plus, in this episode I introduce you to Katie’s second husband Dean Taraborelli, who claims to...

It has now been 117 days since Katie Walker was last seen in Sydney's Tamarama - and this week, a lot has happened. A new person has come forward and their claims have led to a huge development which, in our opinion, finally and definitively, prove that Katie Walker did not end her life.

Married At First Sight 2027 has officially started filming this week, and as last season's cast fight about who they should turn to for advice, here's an open letter to them from me. In this, I discuss the psychological journey they're about to go on, the various emotional stages of the process they won't realise until months later and the producer tactics to look out for.

Everything I read in this letter is from spending years speaking to far too many former cast members than I could ever count.

British-born Katie Walker, 46, was last seen in Sydney's Tamarama at 1:12pm on May 23, 2026.

This episode is going to make several people uncomfortable.

That includes myself, the influencers from the Bali trip, content creators in general, journalists at mainstream publications and, in some ways, you, listening to this, wherever you are.

I’m now home from Bali, I’ve spent 48 hours reflecting on what I learned over there, what I’ve learned from the online commentary and I have a few things to say.

In this episode, you’ll also hear from Below Deck’s Alli Dore, who is now recovering from the “rib contouring” procedure and Stella from th...

This isn't the ending I thought this Bali series would have, but after I waved Married At First Sight bride Bec off at the hospital ahead of her "rib recontouring" surgery, a lot quickly changed. In this episode, she explains why she has backed out of it, for now, at least.

PS: Not discussed in the episode but It is worth noting though that here, in Bali, several of the girls' scheduled surgery times and days did get switched once they arrived, allowing for people like Bec, who weren't first up, to have that little bit of...

Ahead of Married At First Sight bride Bec undergoing the “rib recontouring” procedure with all of the other influencers here in Bali, we sit down to really discuss why she is doing this and the conversation left me a little sad. I also share my thoughts on this whole thing so far and what I've realised.

As I remain in Bali, in this second episode of my little investigation series into the rise of "rib recontouring" I address the backlash, welcome former Married At First Sight bride Awhina into my hotel studio ahead of her procedure and ask both Awhina and Bec: Why are you doing this? And do you think it's setting a dangerous example to young people?

I'm currently in Bali alongside Bec and a group of other Australian influencers who are here to undergo a very controversial new cosmetic procedure called rib recontouring - or the "snatched waist". I have come here to investigate why this is the fastest growing procedure in the world, why it is about to be forced into millions of Aussies newsfeeds and what the actual reality of it is.
