The Idaho Attorney General’s Office has announced that criminal charges will not be filed against police officers involved in the fatal shooting of Victor Perez, a 17-year-old who had autism and cerebral palsy.According to a 12-page letter issued by Idaho Attorney General Raúl Labrador’s office, prosecutors concluded there was insufficient evidence to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that the officers’ use of deadly force was not legally justified under Idaho law.Perez was shot by officers responding to a disturbance at a residence in Pocatello, Idaho, on April 5.

A lawsuit filed against a former Mississippi State Trooper for sexual exploitation has been dismissed with prejudice.In December, U.S. District Judge Daniel Jordan signed off on an agreed order of dismissal of the suit between an unnamed woman and former Trooper Ivana Williams, Brad McClendon and other unnamed parties in connection with sharing a video of Williams and the woman in an inapropriate relationship. 

Ivana Williams, 37, claims that the harassment started as soon as she began her training to the day she was fired.
