Acts 2:17-20

Never think that because something is invisible it is therefore unimportant or weak. Just think of gravity—where would we be without it? The Holy Spirit is the same. He energizes, motivates, comforts, and gives discernment. The Holy Spirit is our spiritual fuel.

When we invite God to “open our eyes,” we’re acknowledging something important: the Bible isn’t just understood through effort alone, but through relationship. The Holy Spirit brings insight where familiarity has dulled our attention and breathes life into verses we thought we already knew.
