Jeff spends about 40 minutes pitching the rest of the Foolish Media team on his new modular, horror-themed card game, complete with mechanics, victory conditions, play examples, and more. This creativity was brought to you by insomnia.

As birthday parties go, this one is not necessarily the worst, but it's not great. The kids are still on the hunt for and possibly being hunted by... something.  New allies are made. A civilization is likely destroyed.

We grow ever closer to the summer series seminars. Will they be everything you think they'll be and more? Probably not.

More talk of things new and not new, and this would have been up, but there was some health stuff.

Returning once more to the birthday party that refuses to end, we find the kids a few hours or maybe a day after their encounter with the beast featured in a recent Fodder Inc. webcomic strip. In a new place and with no idea how to get back home, the kids learn of a hunt.

Picking up in the middle of combat, the team of investigators is in a bad way. While they have some tricks up their collective sleeves, given the circumstances, one thing is becoming abundantly clear. Nobody is getting their deposit back on this room.

Numbered episode 900. It doesn't get discussed at all. 

The guys talk a little about some pop culture things from the preceding week and an upcoming movie Jeff is excited about.

But most of their time is spent continuing to work on the April of Fools game development project "GJ2tR", primarily continuing to focus on what they do and do not want present in the final product.

A brutally honest book review has some unsurprising results, in a very big, very loud way. Also featuring dates that aren't, unless they are, and the beginnings of an answer to the question of what this trio of sleuths and their wildly inconsistent physical capabilities.

It trundles ever closer and is nearly upon us. Prepare yourselves.

The Fools devote nearly an entire evening to working on the development of the new game, from brainstorming various design elements, aspects of gameplay, and some general things they would like to see included. 

There is also some discussion about changing April of Fools to April 4 Fools. 

Also starting this week, the plan is to get back to publishing the midweek show the day after broadcast, Thursday, and our weekend shows will be going up on Sundays.

Continuing the April of Fools tradition, the guys somehow talk for 2 hours without covering any design of the newest Foolish Media game. Raymond and Jeff did provide a pretty lengthy review of the game In Too Deep from Burnt Island Games. 

The Fools will be engaging in game design almost exclusively on the 4/15/26 show.

It's the first of April, and we're doing something we should have done last year or the year before. We're doing a proper April Fool's, and what that means is subject to interpretation and change, but in this case, it means the guys are going to design a new game from concept to as far as they can get in the month of April; there's more, and Jeff's reasoning for the exercise in general, too.

***In less than a month, Azmodendak's family fun days will once again be upon us. With guest lectures, adventuring discounts, and surprises, and once more, food vendors are coming in from all across the land (we'll not have a repeat of the barbecue incident we had at the last food vendor installation).
