When we receive much from others when we were expecting little from them, it raises a great sense of awe and gratitude. Humans have the tendency to misjudge situations and people in general. One act done can tend to form a whole bias about someone or something. This tendency also tends to creep into our judgment of God's character; and this is what meets us in this passage in 1 Samuel. The Israelites assumed God's act of kindness and restoration excused His aforementioned laws. Pastor John Musyimi, in this sermon, seeks to show us that God appeased is not God adjusted!

In a world filled with ruin, corruption, and defilement, we are left to wonder is there hope for all that we see going wrong. The Christian is however presented with a different reality compared to the hopelessness that is rampant in this world.
