The Retake is an ensemble of Northern Colorado musicians heavily influenced by hip hop, next wave soul, Latin rhythms, and jazz.  All coming from larger Fort Collins-based bands/musical groups (Salsa Forte, Fort Collins Wind Symphony, Girls on Top!, Funky Business, 12 Cents for Marvin, and Choice City Seven among others), this group wanted to challenge themselves in different ways musically and take some risks.
