What is the importance of the feeding of the 5,000? Did Jesus give evidence of who He is? In the same way Jesus took the 5 loaves and 2 fish and fed thousands of people, Jesus takes what we have to offer and mulitplies it more than we could even imagine.

Why did Jesus turn water into wine? The vessels that were filled with water at the wedding were for ceremonial cleansing. What we were unable to do, which is cleanse ourselves from sin, Jesus reveals it is only through his blood we have been cleansed. Are we attempting to cleanse ourselves by any other way?

Paul was great at building bridges from where people were to the gospel of Jesus Christ. We can learn from Paul and how he connected with others, always attempting to share the good news with them. How can we apply these lessons to our own life?

Jesus turned the world upside down. He calls us to join Him in the continuing process of changing the world. What does that mean for our lives today?

God has perfect timing. When we look back at times of great decision in our life, do we see the Lord's guiding hand? Paul and Silas had a choice whether to follow the Lord's leading or to to follow their own desires. They experienced victories and what looks like defeats. The Lord used all of these experiences to soften the ground in Philippi for the Gospel of Jesus Christ. 3

What does it mean to trust in the Lord's timing? Are all options good to follow or does God have a path laid out for us? Are we crippled by anxiety over our choices or do we trust the Lord?

How should the church address conflict within? Problems, especially having to do with the gospel, must be addressed quickly and well in the church. How a church confronts false gospels will determine how effective a church will minister the truth of God's word to others.

Why does the church struggle with trying to add to the gospel of Jesus Christ? We need to be watchful for attempts to add burdens and rules on top of what Jesus has shared with the world.

Are we prepared for the opposition to when we share the Gospel with others? Have we counted the cost? The opposition we may face was first and foremost shown in the worlds rejection of Christ.

How do we deal with opposition to the gospel? Not all opposition is obvious. Sometimes opposition comes with a corruption of the gospel. What are some ways we can counteract different forms of opposition?

What does it mean to come and worship Jesus? Is it for the Lord's good or for our good? How is God calling us to worship as a living sacrifice?

It is because of God's love represented in Jesus birth that we can experience true Joy. The Joy that God gives us, is never just for us though, it is always meant to be shared with others.

What does it mean to have peace in the Bible? What does it mean when the Bible calls Jesus, the Prince of Peace? How do we have peace in our own lives?

What gives you hope? What does it mean to hope? What hope were the Israelites holding onto as they waited for the revelation of the messiah?

Are we bridge builders that help to meet people where they are and bring them toward the gospel? Paul was excellent at building bridges. We are given opportunities to be a light. We can't build to the Lord if we do not know the truth first.

What is our calling as Christians? How do we follow the calling of God in our everyday life? Did Saul and Barnabas know all of the details of the Holy Spirit setting them apart? Do we know all the details? Do we have to?

Why is the glory of God important? What does it mean to glorify God? God is glorified in Acts 12 in multiple ways. Do we glorify God in all circumstances? If so, what does that look like?

God grants life when He draws people to repentance. Repentance does not end at conversion but is a continuous turning to the Lord and away from sin. What is God challenging you to release to Him today? How do we maintain a heart, open to His leading?

God invites us to come and know Him but He is still a mystery. The Lord challenges us to grow with Him. Peter was challenged in his understanding of who was invited into the Kingdom of God. Is God challenging you to expand your understanding of the Kingdom of God?

When God speaks we are changed? What is God challenging us to do today? Is there an uncharted area of our life that God is asking us to trust Him in?

God uses Miracles to point to His character. Do we believe in miracles? Who gets the glor for them? Do we desire the fantastic or the One who is fantastic?

Why do miracles happen? What do we consider miracles to be? Why did Luke mention miracles in his testimony about Christianity? Miracles reveal the nature of God. Who is glorified by miracles? Do we seek the fantastic or the one who is fantastic?

What makes us bold for Christ? Why is boldness needed? How do we grow in our boldness?

We are all capable of terrible things but for the grace of God, we could all fall to the terrible temptations of sin. Why is Paul's conversion important for us today? Is anyone beyond the reach of God?

God invites us to join him in the process of sharing the good news with the world. It is the Lord that changes hearts. Will we respond to the invitation?

What does it mean to have power? Simon the Sorcerer did not understand the power of God. Do we?

In difficulty God can bring about new life. The gospel came to the Samaritans while the church was being persecuted and scattered. Are we prepared for the difficult times?

Stephen concludes his testimony of the how God has reached out to Israel; calling them to Himself. Moses was a model of the one who was to come, Jesus Christ. Stephen calls all of us to ask a question. "Are we ignoring what God is saying to us?"

Why is what we place our identity in, so important? What does it mean to find our identity in Christ? What identity are speaking over others?

Moses tried to bring salvation to the Jews but it was rejected. Stephen continues to explain the continual rejection of the Lord by His people. Are we listening to the Lord's leading in our lives? Stephen is warning all of us to not be a stiff necked people when it comes to following the Lord.

What the enemy meant for evil, God can bring about good. Stephen continues his attack on the false thinking of the religious leaders by mentioning Joseph's rejection by his brothers. The history Israel is marked by rejection of the Holy Spirit's leading. What is God trying to tell you? Are you listening?

Would we respond to suffering like the disciples? How to do we continue grow in our trust of God?

What does it mean to fear the Lord? What is our picture of God? Do we see Him as scripture describes or do we try to change Him to fit our own desires? God is zealous for His church. Are we zealous for His holiness?

What does it mean to have boldness? What does boldness from God look like? Does God want us to be bold? If the church was bold, what difference would it make in the world?

What is something you showed determination in? Are we determined in sharing the truth with others in love? Are we determined followers of Jesus?

Peter shares the good news with the worshippers at the temple. Are we prepared to share at any moment about the hope that is within us? Do we share the truth with others? Or is our understanding of love so shallow that we withhold the truth? We are all in need of a savior. Let us be ready at all times to share the good news with others!

What do we offer to others? Do we let our busy lives take over the opportunities God is giving us to join Him in ministering to others? How mindful are we of the Holy Spirit's leading in our lives?

The promise of God was to restore our relationship with Him through His Son. The promise is for all those who put their trust in Jesus. We conclude our look at Acts 2 as we see the response of thousands of people to the power of the Holy Spirit.

Peter and disciples were in preparation as they waited on the promised Holy Spirit. This preparation is evident as Peter calls all of Israel to put their trust in Jesus as Lord and Christ. Are we prepared for when the Holy Spirit opens doors of ministry?

God brings reconciliation. By God's mercy, humanity was scattered when they were drawn to glorify themselves at the Tower of Babel. When the Holy Spirit came upon the disciples at Pentecost, unity of language happened as they worshiped the Lord in multiple tongues. God is continuing to bring the reconciling unity to a broken world. Are we ready to join Him in that pursuit?
