Man Camp RX And A Practical Path For Men
#2

Nobody asks men how they’re doing and actually waits for the real answer. I start there, because I’ve seen how a man can be surrounded by people and still feel lonely, be successful and still feel lost, and be loved but not know how to receive it. That gap between the face we wear and the truth we carry is where resentment grows, where conflict escalates, and where families feel the fallout.

I built Man Camp RX because too many of us were handed expectation without instruction, responsibility without preparation, and pain without language. So we go...

I Love You - Leave Me Alone
#1
10/07/2026

Most men aren’t confused about whether they want love. The confusion hits when love asks for access to the tender places, the places where rejection, shame, and fear live. We start there, with the sentence a lot of men quietly build their lives around: “I love you. Now leave me alone.” Not as a joke, but as a real map of modern masculinity, intimacy, and self protection.

We talk about how many of us learned an old relationship contract by watching our parents and our communities: provide, protect, work hard, stay steady, do not complain. That founda...

What Work Teaches, What Peace Costs and Love Defined
03/28/2026

Rapid-fire questions can sound light, but the answers in this one cuts straight to the bone. We jump from work to peace to love to legacy without losing depth, and what comes through is a clear philosophy: your daily choices either build you up or wear you down.

We start with work ethic and why “all work is good work” when it teaches discipline, focus, and accountability. Then we slow the pace and get honest about what we chase when things quiet down. Peace matters, but we also challenge the version of peace that’s really avoidance. When n...

Parenting As A Launch Pad - Excerpt (Full access for Subscribers Only)
03/28/2026

If your child grew up to live exactly like you, would you feel proud or worried? We sit with that question and follow it to the places most parenting conversations avoid: identity, imperfection, and the responsibility of being someone your kids learn from even when you are not at your best. For us, parenting is less about producing obedience and more about building a launch pad that helps our kids develop their own sense of right and wrong, their own anchored values, and the confidence to become themselves.

We also talk about the messy middle where so...

#4
04/27/2025

What does it truly mean to be the "Greatest Of All Time"? Beyond sports legends and celebrities, there lies a profound truth about your own greatness that's hiding in plain sight.

Your fingerprints, retina pattern, and voice are completely unique to you—sophisticated biological signatures that have never existed before and never will again. This level of customization isn't random; it suggests you were intentionally designed for something extraordinary. The paradox? Everyone else shares this same uniqueness, making us all simultaneously special and common in our distinctiveness.

When we celebrate certain individuals for their achievements wh...

When Discomfort Becomes Your Greatest Teacher
#3
04/27/2025

Life's most profound wisdom often emerges from our most uncomfortable moments. In this raw and honest reflection, I share a deeply personal story about a frustrating jam session with Grammy-nominated musician Kevin O'Neill that taught me lessons that took decades to fully absorb.

When Kevin invited me, a novice saxophone player, to jam with him in Compton, I showed up more focused on talking about my expensive horn than playing it. His direct approach – "Did you come here to play or did you come here to talk?" – and subsequent correction of my playing left me feeling humiliated. I pa...
