The Hunt For The Perfect Album
Join Billy and Dave as they celebrate the magic of a day gone by, challenging each other week to week with an album that one of them thinks is “perfect”, and has zero skippable tracks; which the other has never listened to before. Now, kids, once upon a time, many moons ago, when streaming services were just a dream Steve Jobs had after eating too much cheese before bed; we listened to music in carefully curated lists that the artists had painstakingly put together in such a way as to take the listener on an emotional journey. These lists were hard...
Radios Appear by Radio Birdman
Dave drags Billy down under for a deep dive into Australian punk with Radio Birdman's 1977 debut. Think proto-punk, think MC5 worship, think a lot of guitar. Love it Love it by Nana Grizol
Billy pulls out Nana Grizol's jangly, chaotic debut and dares Dave to keep up. Equal parts folk punk and barely controlled chaos, this one's an acquired taste. Purple Rain by Prince
Dave finally pulls the trigger on one of the greatest albums ever made. Does Purple Rain live up to the hype, or is it just a very long guitar solo? Spoiler: it's the guitar solo. But it's so much more than that.

Murder Ballads by Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds
Nick Cave turns up the darkness dial to eleven on this iconic 1996 album. Murder, mayhem, and some genuinely unsettling duets — what's not to love? Will this be a match made in heaven, or is it all just a bit too much?
