Stories of a Faithful God for Kids: Kids Bible Stories

We like to think that we can fix everything. We want to fix it when we've done the wrong thing to someone. Really, though, we need them to forgive us. When we sin against God, only God can forgive us. So why is Jesus walking around offering forgiveness? Find out with Dave in this episode of Stories of a Faithful God for Kids.

Jesus doesn’t always do what people expect. In Matthew 8, his unexpected words and actions reveal why he can be trusted. Dave shares a kid-friendly Bible story about following Jesus, trusting his power, and recognizing that he is far greater than we imagine.

Jesus has all the power in the world, and this episode shows how he uses that power: not to to be mean, but to heal, restore, and care. Through amazing events, we see that Jesus is both completely strong and completely kind.

What do a narrow gate, good fruit, and a house on a rock all have in common? They all help us understand what it means to truly follow Jesus. Jesus doesn't want people to pretend to follow him.
