Come And Talk 2 Me

This past weekend gave us not one, not two but THREE epic drops for the members of the band, and two of them were Princess Goes related. Join us as we share our first impression of the new album "3" and the video release for the song Walking in Soho, that almost snuck under the radar. Find out which song made one of us cry, which song made one of us feel all of a fluster, and which one of us has never seen Silence Of The Lambs...!

This week we met with Julie, an artist who has been taking the Princess world by storm with her beautiful creations. Working acrylics, pencil, watercolour and leather, she has no limits to the imaginative designs she has been treating us all with lately. We loved catching up with her and seeing behind the talent!

Another month, another step closer to the album release, and another banger of a tune has dropped onto our devices. This outing brings us Heart 2 Heart, an anthemic track telling us to lean back, look up and let it rain in all its gloriousness. We mulled over what it means to eat a tangerine, just where those sticky pine cone needles are coming from, and then we talked to the band about how this song came to life. Join us for another song review in episode 71!

Would a rose by any another name smell as sweet? We think so, and we've been thinking about why the band chose all the different names associated with their songs, albums, and all sorts in between. Throwing on our detective hats, we've found the answer to that burning question...why wasn't the band called Flippity Flip and the Flippity Flops? We guess you'll have to listen to find out why...

This week we cover a rather more serious topic...marketing. Right now the band is bouncing back with a slew of new music and no way of beating the algorithms to get that music heard by more people. We gather the troops to talk about how we as a fan base can help with that. There are many things we - and the band - can do to gain more visibility so we've compiled all our suggestions in one place in the hopes of helping out. Consider this a call to arms!

Following our long overdue and amazing chat with Peter last week about their new song, Sincere Chroma, we got the gang together to discuss our thoughts. As you can imagine, the video got quite the in-depth talk as we said goodbye to Peter's lovely locks and found out if he had been expecting Mike to taste test the lollipop beforehand...Join us to find out which one of us was a dick about it, and how we feel about Shoegaze...

Come and join us for a very special interview, where we talk for the first time in a full sit down interview with the delicious Peter Yanowitz! He joined us on single release day to talk all things Sincere Chroma as the resident expert. In case you didn't notice...he's the one singing! But it doesn't stop there. Not only did he play drums and sing...he also wrote the lyrics. We get in depth about it's creation, how the band has grown over the years, and where we hope to see them in future. In keeping with a fine tradition, its time for us to celebrate the last and by no means least, band birthday! That's right, today marks the birth of the marvelous Matt Katz-Bohen, and we've gathered a few of his friends and admirers to discuss all things keytar, sunglasses and cool jackets. We find out who's going to be standing outside his house making small piles of pebbles, who's the bad influence in our party, and why matt shouldn't really talk to strangers, despite the title of their most recent single...From us to you, Happy Birthday, Matt!

IT'S HAPPENING!!! New music is dropping today and we are salivating at the thought of something new for our earballs. Join us to hear how the band and the venue handled what was happening that day, and hear first hand stories from people who were in the audience that night. What better way to end a year with a bang, than to re-explode the bang from the beginning of the year? That sentence made better sense in our heads but here we are! According to Spotify, this is our most played episode of the year, and we figured the new listeners should get a chance to hear it if they haven't already, and all those who have can hear it again. We recorded a new opener so it's not entirely the same thing, but Merry All The Holidays to you from us. Thank you for listening for yet another year!<...

Over the year the band have released some pretty sweet merch, so we thought it would be fun to go through it all and discuss our thoughts on them. We decided to take a walk down memory lane and discuss those shows with some people who were there, and share our own memories with you too. Come and find out why its never a good idea to jump really high on stage while singing Let It Go, who was making obnoxious noise in a hotel, and why our guest's husband was referred to...

If there's something strange in your neighbourhood, who ya gonna call? That's right, Princess Goes! To celebrate the spookiest holiday of all, we decided to look back at Halloweens past and talk about those creepily good shows that happened in NY in 2021. We interviewed a few of the guests from those gigs to get the low down on what happened, who peed themselves and what it must smell like wearing a pumpkin on your head for several hours.

Its a cruel, cruel world...or so they tell us. We don't think its all that bad when you have great songs like this out there for us to listen to. We decided it was high time we found out more about this fan favourite and why it was chosen by the band to be the only cover version they have done (to date). Join us as we pose the important questions...Did that tree give consent, which band member sprained their ankle making the video, and has Debra ever heard of Bananarama?
