The Fourth Wall: Fiction in Real Life

What if the fourth wall isn’t just a storytelling device?

Across decades, people have reported encounters with figures that seem impossible—characters resembling superheroes, cartoon icons, movie villains, and other creations that supposedly exist only in fiction. Even stranger, some writers have claimed to encounter characters they helped create. Pasted markdown

From alleged sightings of John Constantine to childhood encounters with Spider-Man, Batman-like figures, Darth Vader, Yoda, Donald Duck, Sesame Street characters, and human-sized toys, we explore one of the strangest corners of paranormal phenomena. Pasted...

Alien Viruses Pt. 4: The Armageddon Files

Unknown bodies. Unknown pathogens. Unknown intent.

In Part Four of Alien Viruses, the investigation moves beyond crashed spacecraft and into something potentially much darker:

What happens when contact with the unknown becomes a biological event?

We begin in Somaliland, where a mysterious explosion reportedly left behind more questions than answers. Animals stopped grazing and began stampeding. People near the affected area suffered stomach problems and disturbing skin reactions. Some suspected a UFO. Somaliland President Muhammad Haji Ibrahim Egal believed something more conventional—but no less conc...

Alien Viruses: The Kennedy Connection

November 1963.

President John F. Kennedy is asking questions.

Questions about UFOs. Questions about classified programs. Questions about what the intelligence community knows—and according to alleged documents that surfaced decades later, Kennedy may have been preparing to do something about it.

Then came Dallas.

In this episode of Holosky, our investigation into Alien Viruses takes an unexpected turn as we explore one of the stranger theories surrounding the assassination of John F. Kennedy:

What if JFK wasn't killed simply because of what he k...

What happens when the people sent to recover a crashed UFO start getting sick?

In Part Two of Alien Viruses, we continue into the research presented by Nick Redfern and Dr. Robert M. Wood and follow one of the darkest threads surrounding alleged UFO crash-retrieval programs:

Biological contamination.

An alleged MJ-12 annual report describes personnel coming into contact with fluids from recovered non-human bodies. One technician reportedly collapsed while attempting to remove a body. Another slipped into a coma only hours after placing one into a body bag.

Four technicians were e...

Alien Viruses: Crashed UFOs, MJ-12 & Biological Contamination

What if recovering a crashed UFO came with a danger nobody was prepared for?

Not radiation. Not an explosion. Not even the occupants themselves.

Contamination.

In this episode of Holosky, we begin digging into the claims presented in Alien Viruses by Dr. Robert M. Wood and Nick Redfern—a rabbit hole connecting alleged UFO crash recoveries, extraterrestrial biological material, secret government laboratories, biological warfare, and the possibility of pathogens originating somewhere other than Earth.

And eventually, everything leads back to Roswell.

Some paranormal cases survive because of folklore.

Others survive because someone put what happened in writing.

In this episode of Holosky, we travel to Vallecas, a working-class district of Madrid, Spain, for one of the country’s most infamous alleged hauntings: The Vallecas Case.

The story centers on Estefanía Gutiérrez, a teenage girl whose life took a terrifying turn in the early 1990s.

Months earlier, Estefanía's dying grandfather had reportedly left her with a chilling final threat:

Some UFO encounters are strange.

And then there are the ones that seem to completely ignore the rulebook.

In this episode of Holosky, we dig into three close encounters involving entities so bizarre that they almost sound more like science fiction than traditional UFO reports.

First, we travel back to Old Saybrook, Connecticut, in 1957, where retired schoolteacher Mary M. Starr was awakened in the middle of the night by an intense light pouring into her bedroom.

Outside her window was a strange craft hovering near her home.

And looking b...

Fortean 50: Idaho

The Fortean 50 rolls into Idaho, and this one gets weird fast.

Idaho may be known for mountains, forests, lakes, and some of the most remote wilderness in the country—but buried throughout the state are stories of creatures in the water, things moving through the backcountry, and unexplained objects overhead.

We start in the lakes.

For decades, people around Payette Lake have reported seeing Sharlie, a massive serpent-like creature described as having a long neck and multiple humps breaking the surface of the water. The story became big enough in t...

In the early morning hours of October 27, 1975, David Stephens and Glen Gray set out on what was supposed to be an ordinary late-night drive through the back roads of Maine.

Instead, they found themselves face-to-face with a silent object rising from a cornfield, missing hours of time, and experiencing a series of bizarre events that would change their lives forever.

Their encounter included a massive cylindrical craft, unexplained missing time, physical illnesses, glowing orange eyes, strange mental impressions, and one of the most detailed hypnotic regressions in UFO history. As investigators dug deeper, the case...

For decades, locals around Lake Worth, Texas have told stories of a creature unlike anything they've ever seen.

Standing nearly seven feet tall, covered in coarse fur, with the head of a goat and the body of a man, witnesses claimed the creature stalked the shores of the lake, leaped across rocky bluffs, and even hurled a tire at terrified motorists.

What started as a handful of late-night encounters in the summer of 1969 quickly exploded into one of America's most famous cryptid legends. Police were called, hundreds of people flooded the area hoping to catch...

The Copley Woods Encounter | Part 3

As Budd Hopkins continues working with Kathie Davis, each hypnosis session uncovers memories that become increasingly difficult to explain.

What began as unexplained missing time evolves into detailed recollections of strange examinations, recurring encounters with Gray beings, and experiences that appear to span generations. As Kathie struggles to make sense of what she remembers, similar events begin unfolding around her children, raising disturbing questions that extend far beyond a single witness.

Then the investigation takes an unexpected turn.

Kathie reveals a memory she insists has stayed...

The Copley Woods Encounter continues.

After the mysterious landing near the pool house and the appearance of an eight-foot circle where nothing would ever grow again, Kathie Davis begins working with renowned UFO investigator Budd Hopkins to uncover the memories hidden behind years of missing time.

What follows is a series of hypnotic regressions unlike anything either of them expected.

Kathie recalls an egg-shaped craft standing on four articulated legs, a glowing sphere of light that scans her body while leaving her completely paralyzed, and silent figures waiting in the darkness outside her...

The Copley Woods Encounter | Intruders by Budd Hopkins

What begins as a simple check on a pool house quickly spirals into one of the strangest UFO encounters ever investigated.

A light left on.

A garage door that shouldn't be open.

An eight-foot circle of dead grass that never recovers.

Then come the missing memories, mysterious phone calls, generations of bizarre experiences, and evidence suggesting that whatever happened in Copley Woods may have been affecting this family for decades.

In this episode, we dive into one of Budd...

What would you do if something invisible started leaving messages inside your home?

In the late 1950s, a quiet family living in Battersea, London found themselves at the center of one of Britain's most bizarre paranormal cases. It began with a mysterious silver key that appeared on a teenage girl's pillow—only to reappear after being removed. Soon after came unexplained knocking from inside the walls, strange messages written throughout the home, and a presence that seemed determined to make itself known.

As the activity intensified, furniture moved on its own, blankets were ripped from be...

What happens when a UFO encounter becomes something far stranger?

In this episode, we explore one of the most unusual cases in UFO history—a close encounter that left witnesses questioning not only what they saw in the sky, but what may have been watching them from the darkness.

As strange lights appeared overhead and an extraordinary event unfolded, witnesses reported the presence of a mysterious figure that seemed to appear alongside the phenomenon. Was it a guardian? A warning? A coincidence? Or something far more difficult to explain?

The Roswell story didn't end in 1947.

For decades afterward, witnesses, military personnel, family members, and researchers continued to uncover stories that many participants carried with them for the rest of their lives. Some refused to speak. Others hinted at what they knew. A few finally shared their accounts before they passed away.

In the final chapter of our Roswell series, we examine the last testimonies surrounding the most famous UFO case in history. From military police and recovery personnel to photographers, pilots, political figures, and family members, these accounts paint a picture of an event...

In the third installment of our Roswell investigation, we dive into one of the most controversial aspects of the entire case: the alleged recovery of non-human bodies.

From reports involving New Mexico Lieutenant Governor Joseph Montoya, to hospital personnel, military police, morticians, nurses, photographers, and recovery teams, this episode examines the testimony of those who claimed they witnessed something far beyond a weather balloon.

Why were child-sized caskets being requested?

Why did hospital staff describe unusual bodies unlike anything they had ever seen?

And why do multiple witnesses insist that at...

The official story says Roswell was nothing more than a balloon.

But what happens when you start talking to the people who were there?

In Part 2 of our Roswell investigation, we dive into witness testimony, military intimidation claims, secret recovery locations, strange materials, frightened children, and the stories that refused to disappear.

From Mac Brazel's mysterious behavior after military custody to reports of an alleged second crash site, this episode explores the accounts that helped transform Roswell from a forgotten 1947 incident into the most famous UFO case in history.

In 1947, the U.S. military told the world they recovered a flying disc near Roswell, New Mexico. Within hours, that story changed. First it was a weather balloon. Decades later, it became a top-secret Cold War surveillance project.

In Part 1 of our Roswell deep dive, we strip away the mythology and start where the story actually begins—Mac Brazel’s mysterious debris field, the infamous press release, Project Mogul, FBI documents, official investigations, and the ever-changing explanations that helped turn Roswell into the most famous UFO case in history.

Deep in an old home in Canton, Illinois, generations of one family experienced unsettling paranormal activity that only seemed to grow stronger with time. What began as whispers, footsteps, and objects moving on their own evolved into screaming voices, shadow figures, phantom children, and encounters that left even skeptics shaken. From cast iron skillets thrown across rooms to a dark silhouette witnessed by both a man and his dog, this terrifying account blurs the line between grief, haunting, and something far more sinister. Was the house truly haunted, or was something darker hiding within its walls all along?

From childhood memories to chilling firsthand accounts, real-life Easter Bunny encounters have sparked curiosity and fear for decades. These bizarre stories describe towering, humanoid rabbits appearing on Easter morning and beyond. Witnesses recount everything from friendly, silent observers to terrifying, red-eyed entities with unnatural movements. Are these experiences simply vivid childhood imaginations, or could they point to something more mysterious—cryptids, extraterrestrial beings, or psychological phenomena like screen memories or tulpas? With striking similarities across independent accounts, these eerie encounters challenge what we think we know about one of the world’s most beloved holiday figures.
