The 40k Lorecast

On Today’s cast we conclude our coverage of the Tanith first and only with a heavy dive into the events of the siege of Verghast. From the opening attack of Verunhive that exposed kind of all the failings of the leadership there. Through the constant meddling and politicking of the numerous lords and local commissars. Through the great victory brought about by Gaunt, his Tanith. And of course the ending of the book that made one of the host groan a the cheesiness of it all.

On Today’s cast we dive even further into the Word Bearer lore, starting with the outbreak of the Heresy. And how both Lorgar and Erebus begin to set themselves up for different paths in the Heresy. We then travel to Calth as the Word Bearers both succeed and fail at the mission given them (Kor Phaeron off the top rope for the failure!). And then over to Nuceria where both Lorgar and Erebus make moves to aid Khorne in finding a different worthy champion.

On Today’s cast we conclude our coverage of the night lords. We open with maybe the most consequential event of the entire Horus Heresy, Sotha. And then jump back to the adventures of Konrad as he plays hide and seek with the Lion, and then the Lion and Guilliman. Only to later both breakup the Triumvirate as well as save the imperium (by accident?). We then follow him to his final death (or was it really a suicide), and the subsequent breaking up of the legion.

On today’s cast we continue our coverage of the night lords with a focus on Konrad and the night lords through the end of the great crusade and into the start of the heresy. Where Konrad proves a complete inability to make friends with any of the other Primarchs, and then proceeds to make everything way worse. Followed by him deciding the only solution to him never fixing Nostramo is to remove it from existence, and of course their weird joining of the forces at Isstvan 5 (the part where the loyalists accepted there help, just why?).
