It certainly feels like when one gets down to it, one of the main thing that young men have lost is nature. Not just like looking out the window and seeing it but just being forced to humble themselves within it in general. Men no longer want to overcome the obstacles of nature like they once did, the ways that would cause them to overcome obstacles in themselves.

Man is becoming more and more lost each day. There's a fundamental problem with how we are questioning our reality. A more radical idea I have recently considered emerged partly from the hostility I have encountered among some Christians in my audience. It has made me question whether religious conviction necessarily produces compassion, humility, or moral clarity. In many cases, the most ideologically committed people can also be the most judgmental and combative.
