Klint Pleasant enjoyed a hall of fame career as a college coach. His teams at RCU never had a losing season. His coaching record of 328-116, included two USCAA national championships at the school.

Pleasant was named coach of the Warriors in 2011, taking over for his legendary coaching father, Garth, following his 38 years at the school.

Dr. Pleasant also served RCU as senior vice president and special assistant to the President.

He was inducted into the Basketball Coaches Association of Michigan (BCAM) in the fall of 2025.

November 10, 1975 marks the 50th anniversary of the sinking of the ship in what has been termed "the storm of the century." He plans to climb to the summit Africa's highest peak to raise awareness and garner support for the new Kirk Gibson Center for Parkinson's Wellness, which opens in Farmington Hills on October 6. 
What's even more amazing than the trek itself, is that Annear will climb the mountain on crutches. He lost his left leg at age 11 due to a blood circulation problem but his physical limitations have not stopped him from meeting and exceeding challenges.
