England just missed out on automatic qualification for next summer's Women's World Cup, following a 4-0 loss to Spain last Friday and a 3-0 win v Ukraine yesterday. We give our thoughts on how the Lionesses just fell short as they now have to plan for the play-offs near the end of the year.

We also discuss the four European nations that have qualified for the Women's World Cup next year, and the chaos that happened in yesterday's friendly involving Brazil and the USA, with Brazil shown eight red cards on the night.

What a weekend it was for Barcelona and Charlton Athletic after they were both the winners of the two big games that happened this past Saturday. We talk about how Barcelona’s amazing second-half performance took them to a fourth Champions League title, and how a fantastic goalkeeping performance from Sophie Whitehouse guided Charlton Athletic to the WSL for next season.
