Bathtub Season

We know it has been a while between seasons (quite a while) but of course we couldn't miss our yearly Halloween special!! This was a very fun one where we covered the unreleased 1992 pilot for the Elvira Show that was (unfortunately) never picked up

I hope you got your treats all collected, and your tricks all finished up, and now are ready to take a dip in the spookiest bath of your life! Because spooky season is upon us, just like this year's Bathtub Season Halloween Special!!

This year we went over the 1991 Halloween TV special "Will Vinton's Claymation Comedy of Horrors," which is a wonderful claymation spooky special

Hello all, and welcome to another amazing special between season special!!

This episode is truly something special. We are covering the pilot episode for the show "Jack and Heat Vision" that was ultimately not picked up. This show was directed by Ben Stiller and stars Owen Wilson, Jack Black, and Ron Silver. It was also written by Dan Harmon

Words cannot describe how odd this show is, but it is also equally amazing. You will need to just listen to it and watch the show to understand.

Good evening other daddies, we have a double special for double reasons! For one, this is a special like we would normally do between seasons, but it is also a special because we've gone and done something very cool: Joined a podcast network!!

We are now official members of the podcasting network UNFILTERED Studios! And we are very excited about this

Now, down to nuts and bolts. This special is us covering two of the commentary episodes for the show we did in our first season: the amazing TV show The Tick (the o...

Welp... It's finally here. The thing you've ALL been waiting for. The "Robeo" wrap-up finale of Season 2 of Bathtub Season!!!! This episode we go back and discuss the entirety of the 2012 animated TV series "Napoleon Dynamite" based off the hit film "Napoleon Dynamite." I really do think you all will love this one and learn something along the way, we certainly did (I think?)

It is finally here and upon us. The season finale of Napoleon Dynamite the animated TV show! This has been a wild ride through rural Idaho, but I think we left on a high note. We discuss caulk, grout, hot glue in the morning, the ultimate Golden Girl, other daddies, another daddy, inappropriate uses for cheese, and of course Napoleon and his friends. It's a lot and it's great.

This was meant to be the final episode of this season, but Whoops! We did what we always do and talk probably a little too much. But boy howdy did we talk about some STUFF. Not only did we talk about farmers, the future, America, and future farmers in America, but we talked about Austin's love with a lion who saves him, sexual toe goblins, betrayed friendship, and the judgement of soil (among many).

The penultimate episode of the animated Napoleon Dynamite is a great one, bringing in many of our favorite characters from this short lived show. We also discuss buying zoos with Icelandic singers, emu wars, pig milk, and betrayal (among other things). So fairly par for the course. Enjoy!!

What can be said about this episode of Bathtub Season? A whole lot of everything and nothing was discussed. From a mysterious underground war, learning morse code, a refusal of fax machines, the nether regions of Mr Dafoe, and so so much more.

Not only that, but friendships are at stake!! Not only on our show, but also for Napoleon Dynamite and his friends Deb and Pedro. There's only one way to find out how all that comes together

It's that most wonderful, magical, and spooky time of year: Halloween. And like all respectable media outlets, we had to return to do our very spooky, very autumnal, and very wet Bathtub Season Halloween Special!! Things get wet, wild, and experimental (especially with our sack soup seasonings).

We discuss everything from our favorite subreddits, the best cheese curds in Dayton, and the miracle of life. So relax, draw a bath, and enjoy.

In today's episode, not only do we discuss Ohio Vampires, Farmer Soda's, and grandma's huge pumpkins, but we also have another case of Corey dying, existential dread, Ohio specific vampire replant ... and grandma's huge pumpkins!!

This episode was recorded before our previous birthday special was, so if you are confused about us discussing our 1 year birthday again, that is why.

Today's episode is a little bit of a special one. Instead of our normal programming, Austin and Corey sat down to record a short special celebrating our one year birthday as a podcast! Can you believe we've been in bathtubs, surrounded by expensive audio gear, for an entire year? We sure are pruny, that's for sure

But for real, it's crazy to think that we are now in our second season and have been doing this fun project for so long. I hope you all have enjoyed this crazy thing so far, and I am s...

Have you ever Snee-Furped? Really think about it. I hope you haven't, as we learn in this episode that it could be fatal! And speaking of fatal, during this episode Corey accidentally inhales a toxic substance and is brought to death's door! If any of that sounds interesting at all, I guess you will just have to listen to find out more, right?

This is part one of our coverage of the animated Napoleon Dynamite episode "Ligertown."

In today's episode Austin and Corey do a deep dive into just how odd their home state is. If you didn't realize, Ohio is a VERY bizarre place

We also discuss all kinds of forbidden love that is covered in the Napoleon Dynamite episode "Scantronica Love," including some unholy love between a very strange teacher and his computer.

Welcome to part 2 of the first episode of the 2012 animated Napoleon Dynamite TV show "Thundercone."

In today's episode, Austin and Corey cover it all: Salesmanship, unbridled rage, mental health, and philosophy??? You'll just need to listen to understand.

One thing is for certain though. Diogenes is undoubtedly now the patron philosopher of Bathtub Season.

Even if you're not a fan of the original Napoleon Dynamite movie, this show is definitely worth a watch. It is one of the wildest things we have watched so far for this podcast, and that is saying something.

Today's the day, it is finally here, this is our first season wrap-up episode!! And gasp!!! What is that?!?!? Clothing????? Yes, this is our first episode recorded not in our birthday suits, as we made the decision to have every wrap-up episode also be a towel-down where we record in our bathrobes instead as we dry off from the warm, soaking waters of the show we just finished.

In today's episode, we dive into the backstory of how Bathtub Season came to be, from a drunk idea during a dog walk, to two grown men sitting in...

THE FINAL EPISODE OF OUR FIRST SEAON IS UPON US!!!

As I'm sure you're all well aware, this is our first finale: the final episode of 2001's "The Tick" staring Patrick Warburton. Our two hosts are like yin & yang, toothpaste & orange juice, and Volvo & Saab this episode with completely opposite feelings on our opinions of this finale. So strap in, tuck in, and take whichever clothes you feel are necessary to take off for our show because this one is getting heated and spicy, like my favorite Indian dishes

We are sad to see this...

Corey here, I always write the descriptions for these things, but as I listen back through this episode while getting all the files uploaded for today's episode I can honestly say I have ZERO memory of recording this episode and only a vague memory of actually watching the episode. But I know both things actually occurred. On a positive note, as I listen back to this episode my baby-induced sleep deprivation and unrelated medication seems to have mixed together perfectly to create a hilarious episode that I truly hope you all enjoy!!

Because these descriptions h...

In today's episode The Tick is thrown into a Law & Order style debacle, and learns what a judicial system means for a world that contains superheroes. And incredibly rad super-villains

Also, back in Ohio, Corey & Austin are visited by a creepy old man who has returned from the frontlines

This episode, like all episodes of Podcast Season, was recorded live from two bathtubs in the great state of Ohio! If you were ever craving the great experience of television, but for your ears and wetter, this is the show for you. We promise y...

In today's episode The Tick and Arthur join a club! And not just any club, but a super problematic one!

Meanwhile, back in Ohio, Austin and Corey invent a new radio station, discuss their behinds, see a completely naked face, and discuss the more sultry side of NPR

It is without a doubt a full episode and we hope you enjoy

In our very first holiday special, Corey and Austin get extra spooky in their bathtubs while watching the 1979 television classic "The Halloween That Almost Wasn't."

The drinks are spooky. The bathbombs are spooky. Corey and Austin are naked. Wait. That last one is pretty normal. But everything else in the episode contains what you love about Bathtub Season and amps it up to levels deserving of everyone's favorite autumn holiday
