Leviticus 21
God gave extra rules and regulations to the priests because they always worked in close proximity with God, doing His will on earth. Because of Jesus, we work in close proximity with God now!

Leviticus 20
God wants us to be like Him... set apart as holy. However there are some sins we can commit that are basically looking at God and saying "No, I don't want to be with you." Since God gives us free will, He allows us to make that choice.
Will: https://www.instagram.com/thewilliamreich
Leviticus 19
God wants us to conduct ourselves in a such a way that others can see without a doubt that we are followers of Him. Are you living in a way that shows that?

Leviticus 18
The world is full of sin and wants you to sin as well. But we need to change habits in order to point us back to God.

Leviticus 17
In this chapter, God wanted to set rules in place to make sure the Israelites were giving their offerings to Him and not to idols or other things they called "gods."

Leviticus 16
Lots of things in the Old Testament are prophesies that end up being fulfilled in the New Testament with Jesus! This chapter shows one of those times.

Leviticus 15
Anything associated with mortality and death made the Israelites ceremonially unclean in the eyes of the Lord. One of these things that do this is if they come into contact with bodily fluids. Luckily, Jesus came as the ultimate sacrifice, the Lamb of God, in order to save us from being unclean.
Will: https://www.instagram.com/thewilliamreich
Leviticus 14
God gave these specific sacrifices so he could spend time with His people, us! He even sent His own sacrificial lamb to earth to pay the wages for all of our sins forever!

Leviticus 13
First, sorry for the microphone today... it will be fixed tomorrow!
There are a lot of instructions in this chapter for things that don't apply to us today, however the reason they don't apply to us is because Jesus came and sacrificed Himself so that we could be forever clean in God's eyes.
Will: https://www.instagram.com/thewilliamreich
Leviticus 12
The Israelites became "unclean" whenever they came into contact with something that represents mortality or death, which is the opposite of God who is full of life. Because of this, giving childbirth is a way that the Israelites became ceremonially unclean.
Will: https://www.instagram.com/thewilliamreich
Leviticus 11
God wants us to live in a such a way today that honors Him and not the world around us. Are you living in such a way that honors God above all else?

Leviticus 10
In a world full of people living casually, we are called to not let that affect our faith. God deserves the spot of most important in our lives, every part of it.
Seth: https://www.instagram.com/thesethashford
Leviticus 9
The Old Testament priests acted as a mediator between us and God. However, Jesus changed that. Because of Jesus, we can have our own relationship with God without a mediator! Unfortunately, there are still people today who we are called to help take that step of faith instead of us being the mediator between them and God.
Will: https://www.instagram.com/thewilliamreich
Leviticus 8
Jesus needed people that were holy, or set apart, in order to spend time with His people back in the Old Testament. Thankfully, Jesus paid the ultimate sacrifice for all of us so that this mediation is not needed today!
Will: https://www.instagram.com/thewilliamreich
Leviticus 7
This entire beginning chunk of the book of Leviticus has been talking about different sacrifices and offering the Israelites had to make in order to become temporarily right with the Lord. Thankfully, God knew this was not a permanent fix and send His one and only son, Jesus, to die on the cross and pay the price of our sins for all eternity!

Leviticus 6
Thank you God that we don't have to worry about making ritualistic sacrifices in order to be made right with you. Thank you for sending your son Jesus to die on the cross and make a sacrifice for us to always be made right with you!
Will: https://www.instagram.com/thewilliamreich
Leviticus 5
Back in Biblical times, the Israelites had to give sacrifices in order to become temporarily right with the Lord. Because of Jesus, all we have to do is make a choice.

Leviticus 4
When reading the Bible it is important to remember that Jesus is King and context is everything. When things like sacrifices are written for the Israelites, they don't mean the literal same thing today.
Hunter: https://www.instagram.com/hunter.carr23
Leviticus 3
The wages of sin have always been death, but where the Israelites had to pay with sacrifices, God sent His son Jesus to pay for our sins with His life!
Will: https://www.instagram.com/thewilliamreich
Leviticus 2
The Israelites have the same problem that we have today. Sin separates us from God, and we have to find a way to cleanse ourself in order to spend time with Him. The Israelites had to perform ritualistic sacrifices in order to be temporarily cleansed, but because of Jesus, our sins have been forgiven forever and ever.

Leviticus 1
Taking place immediately after the Tabernacle was built, God gives Moses more instructions for the Israelites, and they still influence the way we should live today!
Will: https://www.instagram.com/thewilliamreich
Exodus 40
Ending the second book of the Bible, the Tabernacle is completed and the Lord occupies it. Spoiler alert: when Jesus dies in the New Testament, the veil in the tabernacle is torn, symbolizing that God no longer needs to Tabernacle to be with us.

Exodus 39
God instructed the Israelites to build the Tabernacle so He could spend time with His chosen people. Because of Jesus, God now gets to spend time with us, His chosen people, whenever He wants!

Will: https://www.instagram.com/thewilliamreich
Exodus 36
What special gifts has God given you in order to advance the Kingdom of Heaven? Are you using those gifts to honor Him?
Hunter: https://www.instagram.com/hunter.carr23
Exodus 35
We are still called today to practice the Sabbath and give God our tithe and offerings. While it looks a little different today than it did back in Bible times, the heart behind it is the same.
Will: https://www.instagram.com/thewilliamreich
Exodus 34
At the end of the day, what's more worth it... being with God, or getting what you want when you want it? Living life, we have to be careful with what we allow in our hearts, just like the Israelites did.
Hunter: https://www.instagram.com/hunter.carr23
Exodus 33
It is more important to feel the presence of Jesus than experience His promises. No matter where you find yourself, if you do not feel the presence of God and have an active relationship with Him, then what's the point?
Sydney: https://www.instagram.com/syd.funkhouser
Exodus 32
After 40 days and 40 nights on top of Mount Sinai, Moses finally comes from the top of the mountain. While he was gone, the Israelites got impatient and made their own "gods." Uh oh!
Will: https://www.instagram.com/thewilliamreich
Exodus 31
God does everything that He does in order to have a relationship with us. In order to do so, he created the Sabbath! This is a day of rest that we practice so that we can honor God and fill ourselves back up.
Will: https://www.instagram.com/thewilliamreich
Exodus 30
What does your relationship with God look like? Is it one where you prioritize prayer and having active conversations with Him?
Hunter: https://www.instagram.com/hunter.carr23
Exodus 29
God has to give the Israelites a bunch of rules and regulations in order to be able to spend time with them. Because of Jesus, however, we have much easier access to the love that God has to give.
Will: https://www.instagram.com/thewilliamreich
Exodus 28
God gave all of the instructions in order to spend time with His people, the Israelites. Because of Jesus, we are able to spend time with God in a much easier way.
Will: https://www.instagram.com/thewilliamreich
Exodus 27
God gave the Israelites instructions to build the Tabernacle and its surrounding things in order to spend time with His people. Luckily, because of Jesus, all we need is an open heart and a willingness to spend time with God.

Exodus 26
God gave the Israelites instructions on how to build the Tabernacle just so He could spend time with them. Today, we don't need to build a building in order to have a relationship with God, we just need to invite Him into our hearts!
Will: https://www.instagram.com/thewilliamreich
Exodus 25
God wants us to willingly be in a relationship to Him. He does not want us to do things out of being forced, but out of free will, which is one of the first gifts He gave us.
Will: https://www.instagram.com/thewilliamreich
Exodus 24
God gave the Israelites rules in order for them to live a life that both honors God and loves others. Even if some of the rules don't apply to us today, living a life like that does.
Will: https://www.instagram.com/thewilliamreich
Exodus 23
God made it clear that He does not want the Israelites to have idols. He makes it clear to us today that the same applies. God assured the Israelites that He will always be with them. He makes it clear to us today that the same applies.
