Genesis 40
Even in our lowest moments, God can still use us to show His love and glory to others around us. We are never too far gone to be shown and to show the love of God.

We pop back into Joseph's story. He has been sold as a slave to Potiphar by his brothers, and by the end of this chapter, he ends up in prison.

Genesis 38
Today we deviate from Joseph and talk about his brother, Judah. This is in the Bible so God shows us what sin He is saving us from with Jesus.

Genesis 37
The "Bible main character" officially shifts from Jacob to his son Joseph! We're going to stick with Joseph for a while, because his story just starts here!

Genesis 36
This chapter shows us a genealogy of the descendants of Esau. They are vast and many, just as God originally promised Abraham!
Will: https://www.instagram.com/thewilliamreich
Genesis 35
With God's instruction, Jacob and his family move. God changes Jacob's name to Israel and promises that his descendants will fill many nations.
Will: https://www.instagram.com/thewilliamreich
Genesis 34
In this chapter, we see a unique perspective into what can be everyday life for the people of the Old Testament. We do not see a single mention of God at all here. Instead, the groundwork is set for what Jacob's descendants are capable of.

Genesis 33
In this chapter, we see Jacob making peace with his brother Esau.
Will: https://www.instagram.com/thewilliamreich
Genesis 32
God wants us to wrestle with Him about our problems. He understands the feelings of frustration that can come sometimes and wants to be the person we come to with those feelings.
Will: https://www.instagram.com/thewilliamreich
Genesis 31
Jacob finally leaves his uncle Laban and begins on his way back to Canaan. However, Laban is hot on his tail!
Will: https://www.instagram.com/thewilliamreich
Genesis 30
God kept his promise to Jacob by giving him 12 kids. We also see Jacob cheat his way to wealth, because he's not prefect. God, however, does not need perfect people in order to enact His will.
Will: https://www.instagram.com/thewilliamreich
Genesis 29
God's promises He made to Abraham have now trickled down two generations to Jacob! We see that God's plan for our lives involves a bunch of patience.
Will: https://www.instagram.com/thewilliamreich
Genesis 28
God promises and blessings that He gave Abraham and Isaac have now passed down to Jacob. These are the same promises and blessings that He offers us today!
Will: https://www.instagram.com/thewilliamreich
Genesis 27
There is only one man in the Bible who did not sin, and Isaac, Rebekah, Esau and Jacob are not that man.
Will: https://www.instagram.com/thewilliamreich
Genesis 26
God's promises have passed down to Isaac, just as He has promised Abraham. It's interesting to also see Isaac use the same tactic that Abraham used instead of just trusting God's protection.

Genesis 25
We have reached the end of Abraham's time in the Bible. Abraham lived a full life, living completely in accordance to God's will, just like we should now.
Will: https://www.instagram.com/thewilliamreich
Genesis 24
The Lord continues to provide for Abraham and his descendants. This time, providing Isaac with a wife!
Will: https://www.instagram.com/thewilliamreich
Genesis 23
Even after Sarah's death, God still blessed her by providing Abraham a place to bury her in a land he is not used to.
Will: https://www.instagram.com/thewilliamreich
Genesis 22
God does not want us to put anything in place of Him. So to see if Abraham would do that, God gives him the instructions to sacrifice his son Isaac.
Will: https://www.instagram.com/thewilliamreich
Genesis 21
God finally fulfilled His promise. And He did it all in His timing. We can trust that God is faithful and keeps His promises today because despite waiting 25 years, God delivered on His promise to Abraham.
Will: https://www.instagram.com/thewilliamreich
Genesis 20
Stories like these are in the Bible to show that there is only one man who walked the Earth and did not sin. If these stories of other people sinning are not in the Bible, then other people would be mistaken as the Messiah.
Will: https://www.instagram.com/thewilliamreich
Genesis 19
In this chapter we see God keep a promise He made with Abraham one chapter earlier by protecting Lot. Because God kept that promise in His timing, why wouldn't He keep other promises He has made like giving Abraham a son also in His own timing? Why wouldn't God keep promises He has made with you in His own timing?
Will: https://www.instagram.com/thewilliamreich
Genesis 18
The Lord physically came to visit Abraham and Sarah. In doing so, He once again promises to keep His covenant and tells both Abraham, and us, that He will protect the righteous.
Will: https://www.instagram.com/thewilliamreich
Genesis 17
God makes the impossible possible. What is something impossible in your life that you need to trust God to make possible?
Will: https://www.instagram.com/thewilliamreich
Genesis 16
Abram and Sarai tried to take God's plan into their own hands and it did not work out the way that they expected. Unexpected things will happen in our lives when we stop trusting God and try to control our situation.
Will: https://www.instagram.com/thewilliamreich
Genesis 15
Abram, like any human, has a time where he struggles with waiting for God's timing. God, however is perfect and will always meet us where we are at. As long as you stay faithful to Him, His promises for your life will come to pass.
Will: https://www.instagram.com/thewilliamreich
Genesis 14
This chapter is split into halves. The first half is what I've jokes about "The Adventures of Abram" but in reality it shows how God separating people can be for good reason. The second half is interesting, potentially showing an Old Testament appearance of Jesus.
Will: https://www.instagram.com/thewilliamreich
Genesis 13
Sometimes the people you are traveling with to live out God's calling in your life are not the people you are supposed to. Sometimes you will have to separate from the people you care about in order to do what God calls you to do.
Will: https://www.instagram.com/thewilliamreich
Genesis 12
With the story of Abram, we get to watch God's promises work out in His timing. Rarely does our timing match God's timing.

Genesis 11
Genesis 11 explains how there are different languages in the world today, as well as provides another genealogy that gets us a tiny but closer to Jesus.
Mason: https://www.instagram.com/mwhitteb
Genesis 10
Today we go through another genealogy. Since God flooded the earth, Noah and his sons and their wives were the only people set to repopulate it. This specific genealogy shows how that happened.
Will: https://www.instagram.com/thewilliamreich
Genesis 9
Let's put what we have learned from the story of Noah into practice. Where is an area of your life where you just feel like you're on a boat, not knowing where to go or how to steer? What would happen if you trusted God to direct you where He wants you?
Will: https://www.instagram.com/thewilliamreich
Genesis 8
Noah had to trust God while he was just on the boat. Sometimes we just find ourselves on the boat and all we have to do is trust God. What boat do you find yourself on, and how can you trust God while you are on it?

Genesis 7
Noah trusted God and did what he was told to do even when the circumstances he was in felt weird and difficult. How amazing would the world be if we all had the faith Noah had?

Genesis 6
When Noah built the Ark, he was most likely faced with opposition and ridicule, yet he still built the Ark. What kind of faith do we need to have to keep doing what we are called to do when times feel tough?
Will: https://www.instagram.com/thewilliamreich
Genesis 5
Even though they can seem boring, genealogies are major factors of the Bible that help pain a bigger picture about who God is and how He works.
Will: https://www.instagram.com/thewilliamreich
Genesis 4
Genesis 4 shows us how anger and comparison can allow sin to take over and when sin takes over, bad things happen. With God's help, we can subdue sin and keep it far away from us.
Will: https://www.instagram.com/thewilliamreich
Genesis 3
Genesis 3 is when sin enters the world. The enemy uses deception to twist God's words, and we fell for it. This tragedy is only fixed by Jesus when He comes in the new testament.
Will: https://www.instagram.com/thewilliamreich
Genesis 2
Genesis 2 shows us that God has not created us to do life alone, but with other people He has also specifically made for us.
Will: https://www.instagram.com/thewilliamreich
Genesis 1
For the next three years and three months, we will be going through the Bible everyday one chapter at a time.
Genesis 1 talks about God creating the Earth and all that inhabit it, including you!
