Talking Supercoach with Streety & Oz

A massive week this week, because the byes are done, but more importantly, this is our 250th ep! It's been a long, windy and very bumpy road to get here, but we made it. Thanks to everyone for their support along the way! 

This week we talk through the best way to finish up our team, how valuable trades are and all the usual goodness. Here's to the next 250!

This week, the priority is Jack Sinclair, what do we do with him? There are a few obvious options, like NAS, Whitfield and Ash. But given his huge price drop, not all of those are affordable. So who else should we be looking at? We talk about Sicily, Parker, Blakey and many, many more options. As well as how valuable a trade actually is in the run home! Another huge episode, where only 1 of our hosts has actually seen any football.....

The boys reluctantly talk SuperCoach this week as the incredible exploits of the Socceroos takes centre stage. The boys explore which rookies need to go, what your team should look like coming out of the byes, and which big name premiums are they going to pass on. It's another massive Bye edition of the podcast!

We are not yet half way through the byes and the pain is already being felt by many. Premiums didn't step up, Rookies went missing, captains let us down, it was a week of mediocrity for us and the excuses were flying! How do we power forward? The boys discuss, Xerri., Grundy, Gawn, Hall-Kahan, Dawson, Ash, Miller, Bailey, Nas, Callaghan and many others that might be able to help us finalise our squads!

On a week that desperately needed a few decent rookie scores, we couldn't find any of them. Unfortunately they just did not step up. But it leaves us in a very interesting position this week. With gun premiums off the bye, and a few rookies ready to be traded, its time to move!

This week, the boys lament the string of soft tissue injuries across the league, discuss Bye strategy, which players are must gets, how we should be looking at rookies and much more. They talk through Holmes, Gawn, Xerri, Pickett, Rowell, Anderson, JHF and many more superstars in a huge edition of the show!

Never before have our hosts have more contrasting weeks. A staggering amount of bad luck hitting one, and the other firing on all cylinders, and contrary to form, its not the way you usually think. We still have no rookies, so there is concern across the board as to how we are going to make money! Which rookies should we be taking? Which premiums are worth the squeeze? A massive episode ahead!

We have called it for a few weeks, but it has finally arrived, the golden run of wonderful rookies has come to an end. And we are left playing with scraps. But in amongst all the bad, is their some good? We talk about downgrade options, in Cross, Smith, Henry, Joyce and Cox. As well as upgrade options everywhere in McCluggage, Callaghan, Rankine, Zorko, Dale, Sinclair, Ash, Whitfield, Serong and so many more, its a HUGE episode!

It's not been a great year for the boys. Both languishing outside the top 15k, it feels like there is a long, LONG way to go in order to get the season back on track. But that starts this week. Lots of exciting options, Bont, Petracca, Dale, Whitfield, Xerri, McCluggage, Callaghan, Rankine and many others present as great options. Which ones to pick, listen to find out!

It's been another huge week, with some stars stepping up, rookies going bang, and lots of options revealing themselves. This week the boys cover all the big names including, NAS, Bont, Petracca, Retschko, Reidy, Jackson, Dunkley, Rankine, Dale, Whitfield and many others!

It's a huge week of trading, with upgrade season officially underway. And options are popping up everywhere! We kick off with an all time Bontempelli rant, and one that we need the listeners help in explaining. But once we get through that we talk about Smith, Jaques, Serong, Gawn, Pickett, Dale, Anderson, Tsatas, Young, Zurhaar, Clark, JHF, Petracca and many others! Its another huge edition of the podcast!

It was another massive week of SC. The rookies went bang this week, to get that cash generation moving. Some big name premiums went bang, and others were quiet. But it leaves us in an interesting position. Not quite at the the upgrade and downgrade time yet, but with itchy trade fingers ready to improve our teams. We talk about Murdock, Petracca, Perez, Farrow, Watkins, Horne-Francis, NAS, Parish, Jagga and many many more. Including the most bang average player in the comp, Dan Houston.

Multiple very, VERY late outs this week caused chaos across the competition. Should we be worried about Daicos? Richards? And what on earth do we do in the Ruck. Tim English has gone down and all the gun rucks cost a bomb! There is a new structure, now ways to get in touch, and hopefully a new lease on life for 2 podcast hosts that are underperforming so far this year.

There was one major talking point in particular out of the weekend, and it is our blood smearing big man. After spending up to trade in the big fella last week, lots of people are now working out what to do with him next. Do you go sideways for a Bont or Daicos? Do you restructure for a Mckercher? Or do you go early on an Oscar Steene? There is a lot to talk through, as its a week to correct on mid pricers, and the chaos has continued!

Some weeks we may claim there to be chaos, when there really isn't, this is not one of those weeks. With injuries everywhere, the boys talk through how to handle Rozee, Petracca, Murdoch, Young and the rookies on the bubble. Whilst delving deep into which players we should be prioritising. Have we overlooked the rucks? Which mids should get more attention? Which rookies are must haves? It's a massive episode!

It's a sad day here at Talking Supercoach, podcast favourite Errol Gulden being the hot topic as a trade out this week. But what do we do about this? Do we trade him for another mid? A premium on another line? Or do we get creative with how we use his money? The boys unpack that in detail as its a HUGE week of correctional trading!

We have 24 hours before the season kicks off! And there is so much to ponder! Which players are under injury clouds? Which rookies have been announced as playing? Which players that we haven't talked about all year are making it into our sides? And most importantly, what are our big predictions for the year ahead. it's been a massive pre-season, but now is the time to make some final decisions. Not one you want to miss!

That's it, it's official, Footy is BACK! And we've seen all we are going to see before we lock our teams in for the Supercoach Season ahead. And with Round 0 performances being incredibly revealing, it has meant there is a LOT to discuss? Which players are locks? Which are we fading? Which players that we haven't talked about all pre-season are locks for our side? How do we fit in all the mid pricers? It's the most important show of the year, so don't miss it!

All the pre-season games have been run and won. So what did we learn? Well the boys dive deep into everything that might be relevant as you pick your side. Which premiums shone? Which mid priers locked themselves in? Which rookies look like being part of our squad? The boys cover each and every game one by one. You are not going to want to miss this one.

Today the boys talk Draft. Going deep into strategy, outcomes they are seeing from their drafts, things they wish they'd done differently and general chit chat. The boys recap the PodMasters SC draft, and talk about which players are jumping off draft boards earlier than expected. For all those with a big draft weekend upcoming, there is nothing better to put in your ears!

It's time to review some footy. And whilst there may have been no premiership points up for grabs, SuperCoaches out there were watching closer than ever! What did we learn about the Ruck rules? Which roles were legit, and which were all talk? Which rookies look the part? And ultimately, what are we going to do about juggling some of these injuries? We are starting to narrow in on our starting teams, so you don't want to miss this!

What do we do if Treloar doesn't get to the start line? He is a key figure in many of our team structures, but if he isn't the man we need, where do we go? Jordan De Goey is a known quantity, but is that a good thing? Is Lalor the man worth taking a punt on? Or can Brent Daniels step into the vacated Tom Green spot at GWS and be the mid priced forward we need?

NAS and Rozee are all the rage, but what if we wanted to bet against them? Which of the tride and trusted premium defenders should we explore? In a line where 2 premiums are garnering all the attention, these stars are being underappreciated. Is SInclair the man with NAS moving to midfield? Will Whitfield continue on his merry way? Can Ash go to another level. In the event you dont pick Rozee or NAS, you will probably need one, but which one?

In this H2H, its about the big gun midfielders. After dominating for the Vics in State of Origin, which of the expensive mids should we be looking at? Is Bont worth the coin? Does Butters opening round fixtures help make him the obvious call? Is Daicos being underestimated? Or is he simply too big of a tag target? The boys take it in turns to draft a full team, within the salary cap to find out which players are the most important and which we can live without! Which line is the hardest to pick? What value players should we be leaning on? And which superstars are actually not that important to your team structure. Tune in to find out!

You would think on a line with Sheezel, Flanders and Treloar there wouldn't be much to discuss, but it turns out that isn't the case. The boys explore the 25 most highly owned players over $200k with some fascinating names coming up. Do we go for a Pod? Or is this a line to stick with the line and length? Tune in to find out!

If anyone tells you they are confident going into this year on which Rucks to pick, they are lying to you. And this chat might not necessarily help. But it will give you some information. The boys go deep on which Rucks are likely to be most impacted by the rules and which will thrive.  And whilst we may not have the answers, we might help you find them!

And whilst Streety may believe that you pick pods at your peril, there is nothing more fun that getting on board that player that nobody else has and seeing them thrive. This week, the boys take a step back. it's time to take a deep breath, ignore the excitement and the chaos, and remember some key rules for the year ahead. How do we build out our starting teams? What should we avoid? Which rules should we never break? And which ones are we likely to break in the weeks ahead. This week, it's all about making sure we don't make the same mistakes twice!

And the last line, the forwards! This year, there are a few no brainer selections, a few speculative ones and as per usual, a line that after the first few becomes a real lottery. So who do the boys have jumping up into the top 10? Which order do they have the big guns finishing in? And will Dylan Moore get back to his best?
