123: Give Thanks Through the Struggle
#123
03/23/2026

I was reminded recently of the inspiring story of Corrie Ten Boom and her sister, Betsie, who were kept in Cellblock 28 in a Nazi concentration camp in 1944 and found a way to hold “illegal” worship services there. While their circumstances were unimaginable they thanked God, and what Corrie learned upon her release will shock you.

Romans 8:28 “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.”

121: Trust Your Vision & God’s Timing
#121
02/23/2026

What if you know you’re called to something, but the path there doesn’t look the way you expected?

I’m sharing what the ALIGN Conference stirred up for me this January, what it felt like to finally see a long held vision come to life, and why surrendering control was the real work all along.

I talk about faith, endurance, pivots, and the quiet seasons that prepare you for the big moments you prayed for.

If you’re holding a vision that feels delayed, or you’re wondering why things aren’t moving fas...

120: Live Life to the FULL
#120
02/09/2026

Inspired by Terri Savelle Foy’s take on the meaning of John 10:10 “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.”

She talks about how Satan’s plan of attack is to Steal your focus, Kill your dream, Destroy your faith.

Most often he comes DISGUISED! He’s a sneaky, manipulative snake, who plants seeds of doubt, shame, deception, dishonor, rejection, disrespect, impure thoughts, and distraction inside of us.

Despite this, I’m sharing how to reclaim what God has give...

119: GENESIS- Your New Beginning
#119
01/26/2026

We finally made it through a year of loss, grief, pain, and struggle in 2025, but through it all God continued to send us blessings that became easier to recognize as we chose to lean into His plan over ours.

Between “no timeline” discoveries in Bible study, an overwhelming urge to “Call Pam” and obey, choosing a word of the year (or maybe it chose me!), and God doubling down on obvious signs that I’m on the right path to His ultimate plan, I’m feeling encouraged as 2026 begins.

All the pressure we put on ourselves to...

117: Ask & You Shall Receive
#117
12/29/2025

Did you know the Bible tells us to ask for what we want 33 times?

In this episode I’m diving into Matthew 7:7 in particular which says, “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.

As we finish the year strong and move into a new one, I invite you to ask God for what you desire and trust that He will work all things together for good.

Remember, you are not alone. Reach out if you need extra support. I’d...

116: Finish STRONG Without Fear
#116
12/15/2025

If you have felt like 2025 was not at all what you expected, then this episode is for you!

After a series of unfortunate events in January occurred I wondered if my big plans would ever come to fruition. This year has been a much different experience than I anticipated. It’s been a time of slowing down, focusing on my family, giving thanks for the love and support of our community despite the horrific fires that destroyed so much, and doing more inner work in the last 10 months than my whole life. And what I...

12/01/2025

Timothy, a longtime storyteller, is driven by his Christ-centered calling to build a more compassionate world—one word at a time. His book, The Night Before PAWmas, I had the privilege of working on to get it published with Landon Hail Press, invites readers to see the world through a lens of compassion, encouraging all of us to add kindness to the way we think, speak, and act. He hopes this story becomes a cherished tradition that spreads joy and reminds us to sparkle with kindness.

On this episode and at the end of his book he in...

114: Don’t Forget to Breathe
#114
11/17/2025

Breathing seems simple enough, right? It’s something our body does automatically and rarely do we need to even think about it. But what happens when we practice conscious “box breathing,” also known as tactical or navy seal breathing, in times of stress, frustration, or panic?

This technique can help slow a racing mind, calm our nervous system, soothe pain, and sharpen mental focus.

There are several benefits of box breathing. It reduces stress and anxiety, improves focus and concentration, lowers our heart rate and blood pressure, and enhances mental clarity and alertness.

It’s be...

113: Your Words Matter
#113
11/03/2025

With a teenager and a preteen now, plus the aftermath of the Palisades fires in January, I’m finding that staying positive is imperative!

Focusing on what we say and keeping it intentionally favorable and encouraging, despite the stress that may be swirling in our minds like a real-life tornado, can be the difference in a hopeful future or a tragic disappointment. If we want our circumstances to change for the better, we must first speak words of goodness that will impact what’s to come.

112: Change Your Protocol, Not Your Goal
#112
10/20/2025

Let’s do a check-in! How are those goals coming along as 2025 is nearing the end?

If you’re anything like me, who encountered a massively unexpected, life-changing event in January with the Palisades fires, you may be feeling like 2025 will come and go with none of your goals achieved. Or maybe you didn’t have a major incident occur, but you still feel like you’re no closer to your big or small goals you set than you were the week you dreamed them up.

110: Practice Compassionate Containment
#110
09/22/2025

I’ve always been one to compartmentalize when I feel overwhelmed, but my therapist (yep, that’s a new thing) introduced me to a different concept that feels a bit healthier. It’s a more intentional practice that’s healing in so many ways.

Turns out, this therapy thing is actually working, and I’m loving the peace that’s coming from it. I hope it’s helpful for you too.

109: Remembering Rachel Luna
#109
09/08/2025

I recorded this emotional episode a day after learning that the incomparable, faith-fueled, spicy Latina, tell-it-like-it-is, wildly supportive, genuinely kind and passionate prayer warrior, former Marine, neuroscience-loving powerhouse speaker, coach, podcaster, bestselling author, and my friend, Rachel Luna, passed away on August 4th, 2025.

To say Rachel has overcome some obstacles is an understatement. Despite the passing of both her parents from AIDS, battling an eating disorder and addictions, and beating triple negative breast cancer TWICE, she continued her commitment to serve others, bare her soul in hopes of helping us grow, and give all t...

108: Create New Habits
#108
08/25/2025

Continuing the conversation from last episode with interrupting our negative thoughts, let’s talk about how we can stop that habit and create new ones that serve us better!

Staying positive, while still living in reality where negative things are happening a lot for us lately, I’m focusing on being more intentional with my habits. That’s not always easy and certainly takes some effort, but it’s proving to be the very thing that’s keeping me going.

If you’re in a season of struggle, pain, loss, or indecision, I’m sending pr...

107: Interrupt Negative Thoughts
#107
08/11/2025

Inspired by a recent Mel Robbins podcast episode, where she talked about breaking the habit of immediately letting our negative thoughts spiral. I’ve definitely been practicing this concept for the last several months!

Being aware of how our brain works, forming habits we don’t even mean to create, is the first step in breaking them by interrupting the negativity and being intentional in our next thoughts!

What thought patterns might you need to interrupt and reframe more positively?

106: Why I’m In Therapy
#106
07/28/2025

From “Why not me?” to “I need therapy!” With a third trip to urgent care and a potential cancer scare recently, it was time to call in extra support.

While I’ve learned many strategies for dealing with anxiety-riddled situations in the past, I found a therapist who’s helping me cope now and I highly recommend it.

105:Why Not You?
#105
07/14/2025

Uncertain about a new opportunity or feel like you’re meant for more, but not sure you are the one to pursue it? Been there!

Instead of questioning “why me” and getting stuck in the how, it’s time to ask yourself, “why not me?”

I’m sharing some inspo from a recent coaching call I did with a new author and some of my own hangups I had to push past when I started my business nine years ago. We’re going back to the 3 steps that help me confidently pivot through uncertainty, and I know you can do...

103: Developing Resilience 1% at a Time
#103
06/16/2025

If ever you’re dealing with a difficult or challenging situation and need the motivation to get through it, this episode is for you!

With the recent Palisades fires and all that has followed in the aftermath for our family and community, I’m reflecting on how I’ve overcome stressful trials in the past, which is often only 1% of effort at a time.

A quick Google search of the word resilience suggests it’s “the capacity to withstand or to recover quickly from difficulties.” In those tough moments, 1% may be all we’re capable of committing to...

Living on a mental and physical high these days after giving a talk for an awesome women’s group and receiving some exciting news from my physical therapist!

I’m sharing how I’m getting my mojo back despite these crazy last few months, post Palisades fires and a major physical setback.

101: Navigate Life Like Google Maps
#101
05/19/2025

When life gets tough, how do you feel like you handle it? Do you go with the flow, pivot with confidence, and stay flexible? Or maybe it’s just the opposite? Resist change, stay stuck, or breakdown?

While spending way too much time recently commuting on the 405 freeway and learning the side streets in our new neighborhood (post Palisades fire relocations), I noticed something interesting about Google Maps. More specifically, my focus is on the calm, cool nature of Boss Lady Betty, who navigates our drive in my car. “She” has some qualities I’d like to possess...

05/05/2025

WOW! We’ve made it to 100 episodes of this podcast and I couldn’t have done that without you! In honor of this exciting milestone, I’m acknowledging and celebrating YOU and your many pivots, both personally and professionally.

Whether big or small, learning to pivot is an art and can be the difference in staying stuck and stressed or living the life that’s meant for us. Having this platform to share our experiences as we strive to embrace change and pivot with confidence has been such a gift.

Thank you for joining me week after...

099: Maximize Your Energy Bursts
#99
04/21/2025

After decision fatigue hit hard (more on that in the last episode) I knew I would have to capitalize on my small, but still noteworthy, quick bursts of energy.

Ever feel exhausted and a moment of creativity or inspiration surprises you, and then you let it pass? After hitting a major wall since our home and community were devastated by the Palisades fire, I didn’t think I could make one more meaningful decision. I kept letting momentary glimpses of an idea or a quick surge of motivation fizzle out, which only caused me to stay stuck phy...

098: How to Handle Decision Fatigue
#98
04/07/2025

The weight of our situation finally caught up with me and I’m sharing 3 things that are helping me get through it.

I realized after the adrenaline wore off, post Palisades fire evacuation, broken ankle, and a surprise remediation of our temporary home, that my brain had hit a wall. The thought of making one more decision caused me to break, and it just so happened to fall on my birthday.

On this episode I’m talking about the importance of calling it what it is (decision fatigue), focusing on the positive result...

097: Show Up for Your Life
#97
03/24/2025

It’s not so easy to embrace the tough stuff and keep moving forward with confidence and positivity, but small commitments can be a game-changer for your health and well-being.

With all the craziness and uncertainty life has brought us in the first month of 2025, I’m learning a lot about myself and how I operate when faced with major challenges. For example, I know that committing to appointments, not skipping or cancelling them, making plans in advance, and showing up has kept me going when I’d rather stay in bed and in denial.

Let’s ta...

096: Pivot to Opportunity
#96
03/10/2025

How can we positively shift our thinking in the midst of a necessary pivot, when fear, stress and uncertainty might be outweighing our confidence?

These last two months of 2025 have brought more life-changing events than I expected in the whole year! While it’s easy to go to the sad or broken-hearted place and stay in bed for days at a time, that won’t serve me well for long.

Instead, I’m choosing to look at a home and city on fire, a broken ankle, and a delayed temporary housing situation as new opportunities I wouldn...

095: Finding Strength & Endurance
#95
02/24/2025

Stringing the letters E-N-D-U-R-A-N-C-E onto a bracelet as my word of the year the night before the Palisades fire that destroyed our home and city, I couldn’t have imagined how much I’d need it.

And if a devastating fire wasn’t enough, a couple weeks later I fell in our temporary home and broke my ankle. Amazing timing, huh?

You can’t make this stuff up, so that must mean there’s a reason for it.

094: Counting Blessings in the Fire
#94
02/10/2025

On January 7, 2025 our lives were changed in an instant. The Palisades wildfires that started above our home in the Highlands spread rapidly, burning nearly everything in our entire city.

Despite a frantic evacuation with a couple of bulldogs, a terrifying scene of raging flames and smoke-filled skies that surrounded us on a gridlocked street, panicked drivers abandoning their cars as hot embers fell all around, a lot of anxious prayers, a surprise car companion, and the devastation that unfolded over the next few days, I’m counting my blessings.

I’m in awe of the commun...

093: “What If" Something Good
#93
01/27/2025

When tragedy strikes, or maybe just everyday anxiety, let’s start adding positive thoughts to our “what if” questions and watch the blessings flow in.

I keep hearing Alanis Morissette's “Ironic” playing in my 90’s kid head when I think about the irony of the last two podcast episodes I recorded before the tragic Palisades wildfires burned our home and left our city in ruins. Did I seriously record an episode about “GO Time!” and now one about remaining optimistic when hit with unimaginable, life-changing loss?

01/13/2025

Inspired by Genesis 12:1 The Lord had said to Abram, “Go from your country, your people and your father’s household to the land I will show you.” I’m focused on the order of the words.

God said, GO! And I’ll show you the way. NOT, I’ll show you the way and then you can go.

We may not know what’s ahead (That couldn’t be truer as my home has been a part of the devastating Palisades fire that has decimated our neighborhood since recording this episode…more...

#91
12/30/2024

Instead of thinking you didn’t accomplish ALL of your big to-do list by the end of December, consider that you are actually ahead of your goals for next year!

On this episode I’m discussing how you may not have completed some things you set out to do this year, but you set in motion what you’d like to focus on next. Completion of goals can sometimes feel anticlimactic, so enjoy the journey, and reflect on how far you’ve come with lessons learned and mini-wins along the way, getting you closer to the outcomes and impac...

089: When Opportunity Knocks
#89
12/02/2024

With a surprise turn of events on a Sunday afternoon after I felt God working on my heart, I suddenly was asked to stand in for a friend and lead a Pilates class!

Am I experienced enough or qualified to do that? Questionable. However, the inspiration to use our God-given Spiritual Gifts from Amy Pendergraft in her sermon that morning, coupled with hearing a recent inspirational acronym P.O.O.R. (Passing Over Opportunities Repeatedly), I knew the only answer was YES.

Is God working on your heart by asking you to use your gifts, e...
