Watch Your Mouth: Gossip | Victor Gluckin
Our words have incredible power. They can build people up or tear them down, bring healing or cause division. In the first message of our Watch Your Mouth series, we examine what Scripture teaches about gossip - why it's so appealing, how it damages relationships, and why even sharing true information can sometimes be harmful.Gossip damages relationships, fuels conflict, and can change the way we see others based on incomplete information. It can be tempting to listen to, and sometimes gossip is simply sharing private information that was never ours to share.Ultimately, the answer isn't just to...
Don't Leave the Guide | Bradley Bzdyra
Life is full of uncertainty. We don't always know what's coming next or where God might lead us. But while God doesn't promise us a clear map of everything ahead, He promises something better: His presence. In Exodus 40, God guided the Israelites through the wilderness, inviting them to trust and follow Him wherever He led. That same invitation is ours today. Whether life is easy or challenging, we can trust the One who leads us.God loves us. God is with us. God will never leave us. The question is: Will we choose to stay with Him? May this...
Be A Berean
In Acts 17, Paul came to the city of Berea and taught people about Jesus. Instead of immediately rejecting what they heard, or simply accepting it because Paul said it, the Bereans listened carefully and then searched the Scriptures for themselves to see if it was true.
That’s a healthy approach to faith. We should be humble enough to keep learning, grounded enough to check what we hear against the Bible, confident without thinking we have everything figured out, and secure enough to disagree without treating people like enemies.
None of us has peaked. We wa...
The Bible: Where Do I Start?
The Bible is powerful, but many Christians still feel unsure about how to read it, understand it, or make it part of everyday life.
In this message, we look at what Scripture says it does in us: teaching, correcting, training, preparing, and equipping us for the life God has called us to live. We also look at some simple ways to begin: make a plan, read with others, be where Scripture is read, and ask God to open our eyes. You do not have to understand everything before you begin.

The Ultimate Life Hack: 3 Things to Do Every Day
We spend a lot of time looking for ways to make life better, easier, and more effective. But what are the practices that actually shape us into the people we've been created to be? Psalm 19 points us to three things worth doing every day: praise, Scripture, and prayer. Praise helps us recognize the greatness of God. Scripture shows us His ways, gives wisdom, restores the soul, and helps us see clearly. Prayer brings our whole lives before God, asking Him to reveal what we cannot see, empower us to overcome sin, and change both our hearts and our words. <...
Do Not Quit
In Acts 14:22, we are reminded that hardship is part of the Christian journey, but it is not the end of the story. Scripture encourages us not to let present suffering overshadow the good God is still doing. Suffering is temporary, it touches all of us, and in time it gives way to comfort - so keep going and do not quit!
I Can't. But With God, I Can.
Romans 12 gives us a beautiful picture of what the life of a disciple should look like - but sometimes that calling can feel impossible. Romans 7-8 reminds us that God never intended for us to live this life by our own strength; he gives us his spirit to empower us, help us, and form us into the likeness of Christ. When we reach the end of ourselves, we can remember: "I can’t. But with God, I can."

Overcoming Evil Through Forgiveness
Continuing the call to overcome evil with good, Romans 12 shows us what that looks like: blessing those who hurt us, refusing every form of retaliation, pursuing peace, and forgiving. Forgiveness does not mean ignoring sin or allowing someone to continue in it; love may gently confront wrongdoing with the goal of restoration. When we entrust justice to God and choose active love instead, evil does not get the final word, love does.
Do Not Be Overcome By Evil, Overcome Evil With Good.
Romans 12 calls us to offer our whole lives to God, including the way we respond when others hurt or wrong us. Allowing evil to shape our response distorts our relationships with the offender, with others, and even with ourselves, while contributing to more evil. But with hearts strengthened by God, we can intentionally choose to overcome evil with good through every good work and word.
The Good News Because of the Bad News
The gospel is good news, but to understand just how good it is, we first have to face the bad news: all of us have sinned and fallen short of God's standard. We cannot excuse our sin, compare ourselves to others, or earn our way out of its consequences. But through Jesus Christ, God offers what we could never provide for ourselves: forgiveness, mercy, transformation, and the hope of eternal life.

Harmony
Romans 12:16 calls us to live in harmony with one another, which requires the humility to recognize that we may not always be right. Following Jesus means refusing to let pride, differences, or disagreements determine how we see and treat our brothers and sisters. Harmony doesn't mean we all think the same thing or sing the same note; it means that different notes can still belong to the same song as we accept one another just as Christ accepted us.

Rejoice With Those Who Rejoice. Weep With Those Who Weep
Romans 12:15 calls believers to do more than acknowledge one another's joys and sorrows—it calls us to enter them. In this teaching, we explore what it means to genuinely rejoice with those who rejoice and weep with those who weep, discovering that Christian love refuses to remain emotionally distant. As the body of Christ, we are invited to share one another's burdens and celebrations so that the world may see the love of Jesus through us.

Bless Those That Persecute. Do Not Curse.
Romans 12:14 calls followers of Jesus to respond to persecution in a way that is completely contrary to our natural instincts: "Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse." Instead of returning evil for evil, we're called to pray for our enemies, do good to them, and speak well of them because Christ first loved and blessed us when we were his enemies.Â

Practice Hospitality
Hospitality is more than entertaining guests, it's the intentional pursuit of welcoming strangers into our lives with the same grace God has shown us. From Leviticus to the teachings of Jesus and the apostles, holiness is expressed not only through personal devotion but through sacrificial love for others. As we overcome busyness, selfishness, fear, and perfectionism, we reflect the gospel by opening our homes and hearts so that strangers become neighbors and, by God's grace, members of the family of God.

Contributing To The Needs Of The Saints
Throughout the New Testament, reminders that Christ's kingdom is coming are often followed by practical calls to love, generosity, and hospitality. Romans 12 is no exception. As Paul calls believers to "contribute to the needs of the saints," this teaching explores how generous living reflects the family of God, meets real needs, and demonstrates the gospel in a way that has always drawn people to Christ.Â

Rejoice In Hope. Persevering In Tribulation. Devoted To Prayer.
The Bible gives us a breathtaking picture of the world God has promised, a kingdom filled with peace, justice, healing, and joy. Yet until that day comes, we live in a world marked by suffering and tribulation. Followers of Jesus are called to rejoice in the hope of what is coming, persevere through present trials, and remain devoted to prayer as we faithfully await his return.

Fervently Serving The Lord
Romans 12:11 calls believers to more than hard work - it calls for hearts that are fervent in spirit and fully devoted to serving the Lord. Looking at Jesus' words to the church in Laodicea, discover the danger of spiritual lukewarmness and how God's Spirit keeps our love for Christ burning hot.

Not Lagging Behind In Diligence
"Not lagging behind in diligence" is more than a call to work harder, it's an invitation to faithfully serve the Lord with energy and purpose. Proverbs contrasts this kind of life with the sluggard: someone who loves comfort, makes excuses, and continually delays what God is calling them to do. Yet God's grace offers a better path: honest repentance, faithful obedience, and the joy of serving Him with diligence and fervor.

Give Preference In Honor
Romans 12:10 calls believers to a radically different way of living: not seeking honor for ourselves, but eagerly looking for ways to honor others. True honor recognizes the God-given value of people and expresses that value through our thoughts, words, and actions. Rather than competing to be noticed, appreciated, or served, Christians are called to outdo one another in showing honor, following the example of Christ, who loved us first and gave himself for us. Romans 12:10 invites believers into the only competition where everyone wins: honoring one another.

Devoted As Family
Believers from every background have been brought from death to life through the grace of Jesus Christ and united as one family. Because Christ has broken down the barriers that once divided people, we are called to love one another with genuine devotion, accepting one another, bearing one another's burdens, and building one another up. We're not in a club, we're in a family. As members of God's family, we reflect the love and unity that Christ has shown to us.
Duh!
True Christianity extends beyond mere church attendance; it is a fundamental transformation defined by a life of sacrificial devotion to Christ and the profound reality of Jesus's suffering and sacrifice serves as the ultimate motivation to stop conforming to the world and instead live entirely for him. When confronted with the magnitude of what the Savior endured, the decision to give Him one's whole life becomes an absolute 'no-brainer' - a response that is, quite simply, 'Duh.' It's time to be "all-in" and move past half-measures and into a life of purpose that mirrors the love of the...
Abhor Evil. Cling To Good.
God designed His truth to be remembered, repeated, and lived. Romans 12 reminds believers that discipleship is not built on complicated ideas, but on simple truths repeated and practiced over time. One such example is Romans 12:9, a short but powerful command that calls believers to “abhor what is evil; cling to what is good.” True spiritual maturity is not merely gaining more information, but having our loves, desires, and convictions changed through the truth of Scripture and the transforming work of God’s Spirit.

Love Without Hypocrisy
Romans 12:9 calls believers to “let love be without hypocrisy.” This message explored how genuine Christian love is more than kindness, emotion, or outward action - it is sacrificial, sincere, and rooted in the example of Jesus Christ. We're called examine our motives, move beyond convenient or performative love, and reflect the selfless love of Christ in genuine ways.Â
Different On Purpose
Romans 12:4–8 reminds us that God intentionally designed the church with different people, personalities, and gifts. Rather than allowing differences to divide us, believers are called to grow through community, serve faithfully in the ways God has gifted them, and remain united through Jesus Christ.Â

Seeing Yourself Clearly
Some people think they are everything. Others think they are nothing. God says both are wrong. In this message from Romans 12:3, we examined how pride and insecurity distort our self-perception and how the gospel calls us to finally see ourselves clearly through the truth of Jesus Christ.

Choosing To Grow
Because of all that God has already done for us, we are called to actively participate in our transformation by renewing our minds and refusing to conform to the patterns of the world. Following Jesus is not about becoming a better version of ourselves, but being completely transformed into something new. As we take responsibility for our part, we learn to walk in God’s will, which is good, pleasing, and perfect.
Living Sacrifice
Romans 12:1 challenges us to see our lives as something entrusted to us by God, not something we’ve achieved. In light of His mercy, we are called to offer our whole selves as living sacrifices, giving Him not just our emotions and feelings, but our everyday lives. True worship is not confined to a moment, but expressed in all of life through faithful, wholehearted living that seeks to please Him.

Fearful Or Faithful?
The Parable of the Talents challenges us to examine both our understanding of God and how we are responding to what He has entrusted to us. Through the contrast between the foolish servant and the faithful servants, we see how wrong beliefs about God can lead to fear, passivity, and spiritual drift, while a right view of Him produces trust, urgency, and obedience. In the end, the message invites us to move beyond hesitation and live as faithful stewards, ready for the return of our Master.

The Difference Is Jesus
When Saul encountered the risen Jesus, everything changed. His life was completely redirected—not by effort or intention, but by a real encounter with a living Savior. That same encounter remains the source of true transformation and lasting change today, pointing to a powerful reality: Jesus is not dead, but alive, and still making people new. And if the difference is Jesus…it’s because he is alive.

Forgiven Much. Love Much.
What does it really mean to love others the way Jesus calls us to? Looking at the story of the sinful woman in Luke 7, we’re reminded that love doesn’t come from trying harder, but from realizing how much we’ve been forgiven. When we lose sight of God’s grace in our own lives, compassion fades. But when we see it clearly, love begins to overflow. The one who is forgiven much, loves much.

What Will Happen To Them?
Jesus calls us to love one another, not in theory, but in real, everyday life. In the parable of the Good Samaritan, we see the contrast between a self-protective mindset that asks, “What will happen to me?” and a compassion-driven life that asks, “What will happen to them?” This challenges us to move beyond self-justification, busyness, and fear, and step into a life of courageous, sacrificial love. It is the very way Jesus has loved us, meeting us in our need with compassion, and the same love he now calls us to extend to others.

Will You Love Me With My Shoes Off?
Jesus calls his disciples to a kind of love that goes beyond appearances and reaches people where they really are. When Jesus washed his disciples’ feet, he showed that this kind of love is humble, costly, and willing to move toward people even in the messy places of life. Love like Jesus is not simply kindness when things are easy or presentable, but a willingness to serve others when the “shoes come off.” We learn to love this way only after first receiving the love of Christ ourselves.

Walk Into The Room
Jesus taught that the clearest evidence of true discipleship is love for one another, a love modeled after his own self-giving life (John 13:34-35). Instead of seeking status, comfort, or attention, Christ consistently entered spaces with humility, noticing and caring for those around him. His example calls believers to live with the same posture, intentionally looking for opportunities to encourage, serve, and build up others. Every room we enter, at church, at work, at home, or in everyday life, becomes an opportunity to reflect the love of Christ.

All These Things Will Be Added To You
Jesus promises that when we seek first God’s kingdom and His righteousness, his good Father will provide everything we truly need. God has the resources, the desire, and the wisdom to care for His children. We are reminded that God’s provision is ultimately found in His presence. Instead of living in worry and self-reliance, we are called to trust our Father, seek His kingdom first, and rest in the assurance that if we have Him, we have everything we need.

Loved First.
The gospel reveals that through faith in Christ, we have been made righteous and brought into a restored relationship with God. Though we were once enemies, alienated, helpless, and lost, Jesus reconciled us through his death, settling God’s love for us once and for all. Because of this, we no longer seek God to earn his love, but from the secure position of being his sons and daughters. Knowing we are loved frees us to trust him fully and pursue wholehearted discipleship, confident that our Father will provide everything we need.

Keep Seeking
The Christian life is more like a marathon than a sprint. Spiritual growth takes endurance, discipline, and perseverance, especially when progress feels slow and the journey becomes difficult. We are encouraged to keep going, remember why we started, and stay focused on the lasting hope and purpose God has set before us.
Seek First His Righteousness
What does it mean to seek first God’s righteousness? Scripture calls us to cultivate a hunger to know and do what is right before God, rather than relying on our own instincts or cultural assumptions. In this message, we explore how following Jesus involves learning God’s way of living, growing in discernment and maturity, and allowing His righteousness to shape our hearts and lives in every area.

Keeping You From The Kingdom
The Bible does not only tell us how to enter the Kingdom of God - it also tells us what will keep us from it. This message explores those warnings, calling us to examine our lives, lay aside what entangles us, and pursue holiness through a loving relationship with Jesus. By fixing our eyes on Christ and responding to God's discipline, we stay on the path that leads to life.
This message was preached by Pastor Victor Gluckin at Living Faith Christian Church in Warwick, Rhode Island.
The Way To The Kingdom
God has graciously given His people everything needed for life and godliness, but the journey to His kingdom is not passive. In 2 Peter 1, believers are called to make every effort, to intentionally grow in faith, character, perseverance, and love. As we practice these things with diligence, God keeps us from losing our way and promises to abundantly supply our entrance into His kingdom.
This message was preached by Pastor Victor Gluckin at Living Faith Christian Church in Warwick, Rhode Island.
Seek First The Kingdom
Jesus calls us not only to seek God, but to seek first His kingdom and His righteousness. Through Scripture’s picture of the coming kingdom as a great wedding feast, we see both the generosity of God’s invitation and the seriousness of our response. The invitation is freely given to all, but it is meant to be received with intention, preparation, and reverence, not casual indifference. This message challenges us to examine what we value most and whether we are truly seeking first, or simply assuming we can come to the King on our own terms.
