With jumpers from age eight to eighty‑six, food trucks, kids’ activities, and a whole lot of cheering from the ground, it’s the kind of event that reminds you how fun—and meaningful—showing up for your community can be.

Some days I talk about Jesus while barely having the strength to get out of bed. Some days I’m showing up with a smile, and other days—like today—I’m showing in from the middle of the mess of depression, still learning how to breathe and trust God when the weight feels heavy. But maybe that’s exactly where His grace meets us, not after we’ve “fixed” everything, but right in the thick of the struggle. If you’re in that place too, you’re not disqualified. God works beautifully through people who are still in process.
