It's the summer of 1725, in a small village called Kisiljevo, in what is now Serbia. A man named Petar Blagojevich has been dead for about ten weeks.

In that time, nine people in the village have died. Some of them, according to the villagers, died within just a day or so of falling ill. Before they died, several of the villagers claimed Petar had come to them in the night, lain on top of them, and choked them. Petar was even said to have visited his son, requesting food. When his son refused to give him anything...

Imagine washing your hair late one night and encountering a woman with long dark stringy hair, clothes tattered, and one of her eyes gouged out. After this encounter, the fear isn’t over. She lingers in the corner of your eye for days.

Can a bathtub ritual summon an entity? Can an elevator transport us to other worlds?

Today, we will be revisiting the story of one of the most influential and iconic rappers of all time. He helped redefine the sound of West Coast hip hop, but he was also a young man who had just as many enemies as he did friends. But his life was tragically cut short at the young age of 25 on September 7th, 1996.

His case has been seemingly cold for over 25 years, and has resulted in endless conspiracies. In July of 2023, a new search warrant was executed in connection to his murder, and now it seems the answers may...

Jason Corbett, an Irish man living in North Carolina, was brutally murdered in his home on August 2, 2015 by his second wife, Molly Martens Corbett, and her father, Thomas Martens, a retired FBI agent. Both Molly and Thomas claimed they acted in self-defense, but were later found guilty of second-degree murder and sentenced to 20–25 years in prison after evidence and testimony cast doubt on their story.

On Saturday May 3, 2008, a 47 year old woman, a wife, a doctor, a mother, was found dead in the creek off a hiking trail near Lake City, CO. Her perplexing death continues to cause division in the true crime community and in the media, with many questions remaining unanswered. The biggest questions being: was her death a tragic accident, a simple slip and fall while enjoying the sights? Or was it cold blooded murder at the hands of her husband?

Today’s perplexing episode is all about the death of Dr. Leslie J. Mueller.

In the 16th to 18th centuries, hundreds of people across Central Europe engineered their own executions in the hope of dying “in a state of grace.” Suicide was a mortal sin, but murder was a capital crime, and execution after confession was seen as a path to salvation. In this episode we discuss several real cases of so-called “suicide by proxy,” including Agnes Catherina Schickin in 1704, Eva Lizlfellnerin in 1762, and Ursula Waserin in 1723. We’ll look at how religion, law, and despair combined to create a tragic pattern of crimes that were all e...

Kaydra needed a break so for this week, enjoy this remastered rewind of episode 137. This is the story of the unsolved death of Patrick Mullins.

In late January 2013, there was an eerie sight in the open waters of the Gulf of Mexico in Bradenton, FL: an unmanned vessel, floating in silence. The boat was out of gas, the anchor was missing, and so was the driver. Where the driver of the boat had gone, and what happened to him still remains a mystery today. No facts, no answers, just theories. A father, a husband, a teacher, a...

You left your keys on the counter, just like you always do. But now — they're gone. Not lost. Not misplaced. Gone. You turn the house upside down, retracing your every step, you even check the couch cushions several times. Nothing. Days later, you see your keys. Sitting on the counter. Exactly where you left them days ago. Like they never left at all.

You tell yourself it's just forgetfulness. You laugh it off as a trick of the mind. But what if it wasn't? Today we're revisiting time slips, stories of portals opening, objects disappearing and reappearing in...

Imagine driving on the highway one day and seeing a pink and purple minivan roll past you. There are hundreds and hundreds of butterflies painted across the hood, and a beautiful young woman's photograph is on the side panel. Then in bold letters, running down the length of the doors you read the words: “Caravan to Catch a Killer.” You wonder what it’s for.

Seated at the wheel is an older woman with shaggy bangs and silver blonde hair. She’s a mother and her name is Dr. Maggie Zingman. Maggie has logged hundreds of thousands of miles...

Imagine late one night you’re relaxing at home, settling down for bed when suddenly your phone lights up. It’s an unexpected call from a family member. You answer but all you hear is static. But then… for just a second — you hear something else. A voice. “Hello? Is that you?” It sounded like them. It sounded like they said your name. But now there’s no answer. Just more static. You hang up confused… must have been an accidental call.

But then, just a few moments later, you get a different phone call. News that alters your life...

Spring in Austin, Texas is normally a beautiful time of year. The heat isn’t nearly as intense. Vibrant bluebonnets and wildflowers are blooming. And the huge festival here, South by Southwest, is just wrapping up. The city is warm, buzzing, and alive. But in March of 2018, residents of Austin were afraid to open their doors.

Today we're going back to a nineteen-day reign of terror that paralyzed one of America's fastest-growing cities. We’re going back to an event that left behind questions that still haunt investigators and the community today. Today’s perplexing episode is all ab...

Somewhere off the coast, a naval sonar operator watches a mysterious object silently descend into the ocean at a speed that shouldn't be possible for anything built by human hands. The object also doesn’t make a splash.  Just... suddenly drops and vanishes into the black deep water.

There have been thousands of reports like this around the world for many many years. Objects coming in and out of the water, vanishing beneath the waves and reappearing miles away, and unbothered by pressures that would crush a submarine like a soda can.

In the shadows of mystical forests, beneath the surface of murky lakes, and even in our own backyards, there continue to be reports of unidentifiable creatures from all around the world. Stories of cryptids have been passed down for centuries. They often have similar physical descriptions, despite being from other sides of the globe. Are these simply myths passed down through generations, or are they fragments of truth waiting to be uncovered?

While there are hundreds of cryptids out there, today we are talking about just two. First, I will take you deep into the forests of...

On April 26, 2010, 16 year old Ali Lowitzer from Spring, TX disappeared just after stepping off of her school bus. By day, this state seems like a beautiful and vibrant place to live. There's mountain views, and spots that feel like an artist’s safe haven. It’s a place that feels alive with music, crafts, and color. But beneath the vibrant surface lies a much older story. This state was officially founded in the late 18th century but it’s been shaped for centuries by Appalachian folklore. This state has long been a crossroads of cultures, beliefs, and… something harder to explain.

Locals will tell you these mountains have memories. That the fog rolling through the valleys...

Her remains were recently found in a remote heavily wooded area on May 28, 2026. Melissa’s case has gotten a lot of attention… but arguably for all the wrong reasons. There has been an unbelievable amount of speculation, misinformation, and just straight up conspiracies and lies about Melissa. These have even come from major news sources.

It seems before we can know what happened to Melissa on June 26, 2025, people will have to s...

Our ancestors have worshipped their limestone and crystal, believing them to possess mystical properties. Today, some still believe these burrows harness energy and amplify paranormal activity. Others believe creatures lurk in the shadows, crawling along the walls and stealing the souls of any who dare to enter. Some curious explorers have gotten lost and met their demise, dying alone in the dark.

From history, to folklore, to creatures, to disappearances, and deaths, there are endless stories from these dark caverns.

While Kaydra catches up from a weekend with family, enjoy this re-mastered playback of the story that first got Kaydra into the paranormal! The terrifying story of Heol Fanog, AKA Hellfire Farm.

On August 22nd, 1678 in Hartfordshire, a piece would be published in a local newspaper titled “The Mowing Devil.” The drawing consisted of a series of concentric rings of crops.

In the middle stood a devil wielding a scythe. The pamphlet then told a strange tale. A farmer refused to pay a worker to mow his oat field, swearing he would rather the devil himself mow it.

Some argue this was the very first documentation of what has become one of the most iconic symbols of alien activity. According to websites that track this phenomenon, more than...
