Dr. Groove had technical problems that he could not quite figure out, but he overcame them by clicking on a button in Garage band which made it all better. The show is fairly mellow, which reflects the post groovefest, post trauma that is going on with us here.

We did not know this day would come, but after last recording a show on a hailing day in March, Dr. Groove returns to the airwaves on Radioactive with a brand new show, as he lamentably tries to get his act together for the upcoming festivities of the summer festival, that he plays. So I hope you are as excited as the Dr. is with this return.

This show starts slow, and never really get’s hectic. But it doesn’t suffer for all that. We start with some existential angst – my favourite kind, being dripped into our ear from a New York hotel room at 5am, and has that sweet laconic line…”I’m not paying those bills.” Then more sounds in keeping with the low energy mood.

The Stranglers track comes from the debut album by them, Rattus Norvegicus was deliberatley trying to confuse people in that they put the roman numerals IV beside it. Nearly 50 years later it caused Dr. Groove to err claiming that it was the fifth album. No it was not. The stranglers ploy worked, Confusion was caused but also Dr. Groove doesn’t know his numerals from Rome.
