The Edmonton Oilers needed the Vegas Golden Knights beat the Vancouver Canucks last night; however, that unfortunately was not the case. The Canucks rallied from two goals down to beat the Golden Knights to win 4-3. With that win, Vancouver increased their cushion to five points over the Oilers for first in the Pacific Division.

Down in Dallas last night, the Oilers were blanked 5-0 to the Stars after Jake Oettinger made 35 stops for his third shutout of the year.
