We pick up where we left off, with Marntonia's coven calling down their wrath upon all vampires in the area, but her efforts prove to be in vain as her expected body count is NOWHERE near her previous numbers! A close call makes Jason forget his bro code, Jessica gets thrown out of two houses, and Hoyt shows a side that none of us wanted to see! Welp! Marntonia has let Antonia FULLY get behind the wheel and the vampires are losing their damn minds! When she escapes the Compton compound, she threatens to finish what she started hundreds of years ago! The vampires all shelter in place with silver, as daylight approaches. Meanwhile, Jesus & Lala acknowledge Lafayette's gift of mediumship, Tommy deals with the fallout of his hours as Sommy, and Jason continues to lust after his best friend's girlfriend

Everything we've been hoping for is ruined by c&ck-blocking Bill Compton and we're BIG MAD about it!! He arrests Eric and sets plans in motion to remove him from the chessboard altogether. Arlene's ghost shows herself-- and we think that she's gorgeous and probably offended by the fact that Arlene is racistAF!  Jason expects the worst out of the full moon, but Jess offers him comfort. Eric is having dreams about eating Sookie, but amps up his game to erode her resistance to getting involved with him-- and we ALL get it! Meanwhile, Tommy gets murderous and turns to Sam for help. Jason is physically healed, but is suffering from the trauma of his time in Hotshot. Hoyt can sense something is wrong with Jessica. it's almost as if you can't glamour your problems away JESSICA!! Jesus, Lala & Tara abandon Marnie and search for ways to evade the wrath of Eric & Pam. The haunted doll ramps up it's assault on Arlene's family.

Eric continues to be pathologically adorbs after injesting a full fairy! Drunk off of her Sunny D-licious blood, he gets the zoomies, challenges crocodiles to fights, and pinches Sookie's butt with reckless abandon. We honestly don't know how she survived this!

Jason manages to escape the hellscape that is Hotshot. Tommy seeks out the comfort of family, Terry gets a scare, and Pam gets a rough lesson in manners.

Sookie attempts to go against her instincts to help Eric who seems concussed or something! He doesn't know her name, and even more alarming, is kind of being sweet. Pam BEGS Sookie to play babysitter until they are able to fix whatever is wrong with him.

Meanwhile, Lala wants to clear his conscience, Jessica wants to clear Hoyt's memory, and Arlene wants to clear whatever demon is inhabiting baby Mikey's new/old doll!

Reeling from her short rendezvous in the witness protection faerie realm, Sookie continues to be shocked by HOW MUCH has changed. Eric wants her to be HIS, Bill is the freaking king, and everyone is telling her that she's in CRAZY danger if she doesn't accept Eric's offer for protection OR hide out somewhere.

We're back and we have some notes! We pick up with Sookie getting whisked away to the witness protection faerie realm, and things are not okay: Not for Sookie, not for the other humans in the realm, and CERTAINLY not for us Rewatchers who were thrown by this weird interlude!

Rewatchers! We have made it to the Season 3 Finale, and we've got a hefty episode to share with you! 

We start with two hot dogs in the sun-- Russell & Eric. Eric is having hallucinations that is influencing his plans for Russell! Sookie is OVER the vampire of it all they ALL suck, and she's not going tot take being a pawn in their reindeer games anymore. Meanwhile, Tara can't catch a freaking break, Sam has lost the freaking plot, and Jason is attempting to SAVE hotshot now?? I know. We can't keep up with it either!!

Bill bamfs to Fangtasia to rescue Sookie, but Pam gets Holistic on his ass. Eric seeks Russell out to put an offer on the table that he is unable to refuse. Lafayette's psyche is broken after his V experience with Jesus. Arlene enlists Holly to help her with her serial murder baby bump. Sam has a complete meltdown and pushes everyone away except for Tara who is unable to catch an offing break!

Crystal gets tracked down, and she and Jason make a series of unfortunate choices that get multiple hospitalized, and tests their new relationship. Tara gets makes steps to move on from her traumatic getaway, but finds Franklin’s shadow hard to escape. Eric & Pam are placed on  house arrest by the Authority as Russell is COMPLETELY unhinged by the death of Talbot.

With Sookie freshly traumatized by how animalistic (in a bad way) Bill was, we all grab our tissues and brace for a break up! Lafayette continues to be the BEST kind of person to have around after crazy shite, and Alcide worries about leaving Sookie behind when he heads back home. Meanwhile Jason puffs out his chest around Crystal's family and Arlene gets a ghostly visitor! 

Rewatch, Listen & Laugh as Ash rescinds her previously "thrown in towel" for Bill, Alaina admits that Eric could convince her to do anything, and Mikie finds a new favorite euphemism!

Lorena TOTALLY gets why Bill is so obsessed with Sookie and happily nomnomnoms on Sookie's ass much to Bill's dismay. Tara & Alcide escape immediate danger, but worry about loose ends left behind! Eric has an appointment with the Magister, and Jason just wants to get some Crystal!

With knowledge of Sookie's sparkly jazz hands, Russell takes Bill & Sookie back to his home. He interrogates Sookie, and orders Lorena to kill Bill. Franklin lets it slip that Sookie is in the house, and Tara formulates a plan.

Back in Bon Temps, Lafayette and Jesus' date comes to an abrupt end,  Jason has girl problems, and Jessica decides to give Arlene a good ending to a shitty night!

Rewatch, Listen & Laugh we bask in Eric's slutty little blue sweater, we revel in Eric's seductive ways, and absolutely fangirl over what a badass Tara is! 

Franklin continues to be an absolute menace, and poor Tara rolls with his mood to stay on his good side. Eric pulls a Hail Mary, but fumbles when the vampire he blames is none other than Russell's newest Sheriff- BILL Compton!  But Russell finds out that Bill is LYIN' to him, and is furious, putting Sookie in peril (again).

Back in Bon Temps, Jason follows a siren's song (according to Ash), Terry is overjoyed by the way life is giving him ALL the normal blessings, and Jessica deals some much needed expedited karma to Arlene!

Sookie goes undercover to get intel on Bill's whereabouts and imperils herself in the process. Tara and Franklin's meetcute turns meetTerrifying right quick! Eric apparently smells like the North Sea and isn't insulted about it (question mark?) The Jason pendulum continues to swing!

Picking up right at the end of last week's explosive ending, the Dallas Vampire Coven deals with the fallout of a terrorist attack! Eric dupes Sookie to get under her skin (and MAN does he!) and Godric falls upon his sword to ensure that his clan is protected.
