In the fifth and final part of our special series, successful Nepali entrepreneurs Niraj Khanal and twin brothers Ram and Laxman Rimal share their advice for aspiring entrepreneurs. A month-long photography exhibition, ‘Photo KTM’, organised by Photo Circle, was held in Kathmandu from 14 November last year. It comes as Prime Minister Albanese attended the annual general meeting (AGM) of the Nepali umbrella organisation, the Federation of Nepali Community Associations of Australia (FeNCAA), at Parliament House, Canberra, on Tuesday, 11 August 2026.

Alongside the Prime Minister, Federal Assistant Minister for Defence Peter Khalil, Shadow Assistant Minister for Citizenship and Multicultural Affairs Dave Sharma and several other Australian MPs were also in attendance.

As the housing crisis continues, family and domestic violence (DFSV) is the main reason women and children leave their homes and become homeless. The government says it is investing $308 million in housing solutions to help them escape, but critics say more needs to be done.
