Beth Ariel Messianic Congregation

Alan Radecki addresses the heresy within the Body of Christ (Yeshua), the Church, known as Progressive Christianity, or Universalism. Alan discusses 5 of the verses that are commonly quoted as support for their theory:

Romans 5:18
1st Corinthians 15:22
1st Timothy 2:3-6
1st Timothy 4:10
John 3:16

In order to understand the true meanings of the passages, one needs to study the original Greek grammar, not the poor English translations.

Rabbi Gary continues teaching from the second half of Psalm 68:19-35. Having looked back on what God has donefor Israel in the past, David now reflects on the present and looks into the future. Because of God’s faithfulness to Israel in the past and present, we are to expect His continued faithfulness into the future. Therefore, we are to continually praise Him.

The Kingdom reign of Messiah will begin with the deliverance of Israel from he enemies. Then, David writes of the entrance of Messiah into His temple, and the processional that lead Him to His th...

Rabbi Gary teaches from the first half of Psalm 68:1-18. This psalm of David focuses attention on the salvific work of God, who saves. He provided salvation for Israel in the past, in the present, and in the future.

The psalm opens with an introduction that calls to mind that God scatters His enemies, “the wicked,” those who oppose Israel, the people whom He has chosen. God not only defeats His enemies, He also cares for His people. He is a father to the fatherless, a defender of widows, and a provider of families to those who are...

On Friday, September 11, at sundown, Rosh Hashanah, the Feast of Trumpets (Leviticus 23:23-25), the Jewish New Year (5787), begins. Jewish families and friends gather together, greeting one another with the phrase, "L'Shanah Tova Tikatevu," meaning, "May You be Inscribed for a Good Year."

As they gather around the table for the family meal welcoming the new year, they will have freshly baked challah (a traditional braided Jewish bread) on this occasion, often made with honey. And among the special deserts, are apples and honey for a sweet and happy new year.

In the synagogue, the shofar (r...

Rabbi Gary continues to study the life of Gideon. Before he can experience the defeat of the Midianites and her allies, he must first learn dependence on the Lord and then he will have confidence in God.

When we are God-dependent and not self-reliant and have a God-confidence and not a self-confidence, we all become “mighty persons of valor.”

Isaiah 63:7-64:12 provides us with revelation of the future when Israel as a nation will offer up a prayer to our Heavenly Father asking for his forgiveness. It is very similar in nature to an earlier prophecy of Isaiah in which he provides us with what will be the national confession of Israel for the rejection of Yeshua as Messiah (Isaiah 53:1-9). A confession that will lead to the nation being saved in a day (Isaiah 66:7-9; Romans 11:26-27).

The confession is being made by the future faithful remnant of Israel. Jewish believers who have come to r...

Shavuot is also called the Feast of Weeks and Pentecost. According to Jewish tradition, God gave the law on Shavuot. Thus, Shavuot celebrates the giving of the law and the revelation on Mount Sinai. According to Acts 2:1-4 it was on Shavuot that the Spirit of God was poured out on the believers and the "church" ("called out ones") was created.

The primary passage in the Hebrew Scriptures that addresses Shavuot is Leviticus 23:15-22. In verse 15, the Jewish people are told to "count seven full weeks from the day after the Sabbath, from the day that you...

Today, Tim teaches from Isaiah 53, “The Servant Song”.
1. The Message of Isaiah
Four passages in Isaiah 40-55 have been identified as “songs” celebrating the sacrificial life of a righteous servant of God who brings about the redemption of others. They are Isaiah 42:1-9; 49:1-13; 50:4-11; and 52:13-53:12.
