No Rozier or Jaquez today - but Jimmy returned with a nice 30 piece! He was able to get to the line, hit the offensive boards and take command of the game.
Miami finally won a 3rd quarter convincingly - and dominated the second half overall.

Guess who we are playing......? It's the Indiana Pacers again, yes the same team we played 2 days ago. I hate playing the same team twice in a row - it doesn't feel like the playoffs, it just feels repetitive.
Unfortunately it wasn't the same result for the Heat, who were on the receiving end of bounce back games from Siakam and Turner today. 
Tyler Herro turned up another huge 4th quarter performance, but with Jaquez going down with a sprained ankle - Miami were running out of shot creators.

Game #2 of the NBA Cup for Miami, and this was a fun one! Bam finally got himself going offensively and was in complete control of this game through the second half.
Kevin Love started again and ran with the opportunity by scoring 15pts in the 3rd Q alone......no that's not a typo! It really was 15.
But all jokes aside, Miami's biggest advantage came when they subbed in Batman off the bench.......who is Batman you ask.......well download today's episode to find out!

This was one crazy game. Herro absolutely dominated and had 18pts in the 4th quarter alone, including hitting 6/8 3PT range! 
Just when you think he can't play any better - he hits a go ahead basket with 2 seconds remaining.....what could possibly go wrong hey? 

A huge, uncharacteristic coaching blunder from Spo stops the game from going to a second overtime.

Miami fans have been very critical of Spo online to start the season - and in todays game, he showed why he is one of the best coaches in the NBA. Kevin Durant comes up huge down the stretch on his way to 32 points. Another missed opportunity for the Heart to get off a buzzer beater in the final few seconds, resulting in our 4th loss of the season.

Finally Jovic gets removed from the rotation in the 2nd half - something we have been very much waiting for! Highsmith replaced him, and had a great game....but was it good enough for him to crack the best player award?

pre-season but there certainly are trends to start observing. Will Bam actually shoots 3's consistantly? Will Jovic start? Are we going to see either of our rookies play a substantial role this season?

We have some unexpected roster news..... Miami have signed Nassir Little! What was the reason behind the signing and what is his projected role?
Its been a busy offseason at the Kaseya Center too - with some big upgrades. The star of the show will be the new Flame Ball that is designed to be a 3D version of the Heat's logo, hanging in mid air - and it looks amazing! (google it!)
